UPES is a really beautiful campus.

Placements: Placements in the college were good. In my batch, around 90% of the students were placed in their respective specialisations and got the job in their desired domain. A few companies that visited our college related to aerospace were Mahindra Aerospace, Rockwell Collins, Cyient, TCS (EIS), HCL, and Infosys, etc.

Review of UPES from a pass out.

Placements: 32 out of 52 students got placed. The placement scenario isn't all that attractive. The highest salary 9lpa and the lowest 3-4 LPA. 5-6 core companies came in 2018, more expected in 2019. Mostly, companies visit campus. Internship: many students go for research internship to IITs and national chemical labs instead of industrial.

Satisfactory placements and participating faculty are there. Beautiful campus keeps you indulged.

Placements: Placements for the aerospace course are satisfactory as most of the students opt for the master's degree, and the others who wish for placements are mostly placed through off-campus drives. Since the companies like Accenture, Mahindra Aerospace, Honeywell Aerospace, Larsen and Turbo visited in the past, there is a chance that they may come anytime in future.

The college with a good placement rate.

Placements: The placements of the college are pretty much average. One needs to have a good CGPA and CV to get a decent placement in the core company, otherwise marketing companies remain an option. The highest package offered is 17 LPA and the lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average package offered is around 4 LPA. Core companies like Reliance, Honeywell, PCBL, and Exxon, etc., visit the campus. Marketing companies consist of startups mostly. Around 20 internships are provided by the college, in a y...

This is the best university of Doon.

Placements: Placements for students of the chemical branch are good this year. Out of 110 students, 45-50 students have been placed. Many companies visited UPES for placements this year. Companies like ExxonMobil, Reliance, Jubilant and many others hired the students of chemical engineering branch.

UPES is trying to find the balance between academics and co-curriculars activities.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch were okay. Most of the seniors were placed with moderate packages. Companies visit the campus, but only a few students were offered technical profiles. The assistance is provided for getting the internships. Almost everyone got the internships.

The infrastructure is good but I'm dissatisfied with faculty and placements.

Placements: The placement assistance for our batch was not good. Almost less than 20% of the students got placed in core companies, and rest had to either move for higher studies or join an IT company. Internships in good core companies were very limited, and the majority of the batch was sent to different locations of ONGCs assets.

The college offers good infrastructure and a healthy environment to study and grow.

Placements: Placements in the college are good, and it also depends on the quality of students. Last year, the average salary package offered was almost 4-4.50 LPA. The placement rate of college is almost 100%. Getting a placement entirely depends on the knowledge and opportunities you get. The college will provide you with opportunities, but you have to make some efforts to take them.

Our college has good faculty and placement record, but the industry exposure is less.

Placements: Placements record of the institution is fabulous. More than 94% of the eligible students got placed in 2018, and around 92% of the students were placed in 2017. Almost 91% of the students were placed in 2016. It can be seen that the placement record of the institution is getting better by every passing year. The highest salary offered was 30 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 3 LPA. The average salary offered was 4.5 LPA. IT companies like Samsung, Wipro, Amazon, Paytm, IBM, Dell, Reliance I...

Good infrastructure, good faculty members and sound placements.

Placements: Our seniors are all placed with good packages, and especially this branch is very known in the university. Many companies came for recruitment. The companies recruit students as the safety officer in their organisations. Almost 99% of students got placements, and the packages offered are also very good.

A good college with a nice view.

Placements: Almost 80% of our batch was placed at our time, and same was the condition with the seniors, i.e. is the 2015 batch. The maximum package offered was 9 lacs per annum, and the average package was 3.50 lacs per annum. Placements were dominated by automobile and manufacturing departments.

Don't choose this college if you find any better college with the fee structure of 10-12 lacs.

Placements: Around 70% of the students got placed in the campus placements, but the thing is, only 40% of the students got placed in their field and rest of the students were placed in sales, B2B, etc. It doesn't matter how well you do, as the college has to approach companies which they are unable to do. The highest salary package offered to our batch was 5 lacs per annum, the lowest was 2.5 lacs per annum, and the average was 3.75 LPA. Students were mainly placed in the sales department. College is good but faculty members and teaching pattern is average and placements are very poor.

Placements: Placements of this college are very poor. They really have very bad placement policies and regulations. No good company visit this campus. Also the placement percentage of students is very less and the percentage which they show on their site is totally fake and wrong. The placement of my batch was really very poor. And most of the students are placed in non-core companies and even in BPO's. The highest package was around 5L p. a. and which was also offered to 1-2 students and rest everyone was ...

Home for nation builders and innovation.

Placements: Placements are decent, for the batch of 2015, 80% students were placed and companies like TCE, Mahindra came to the campus for placement. The placement of any student depends on how well he/she understood the knowledge given to them and how well they are able to apply it in the real life as companies don't usually look for students with high grades but they want those who have a better understanding of real world applications.

Please don't get attracted to the college's fake publicity.

Placements: In the batch of 2014-2018, 40 out of 60 students got placed. Only one student got placed in a core company with a package of 9 LPA. The rest joined in IT companies with a package of 3-4.8 LPA. So, it's not worthy to join this college as the cost to benefit ratio is very low. So, please refrain from joining.

Why should you choose UPES?

Placements: Good placement. But that depends on your Academics too, College provides ample amount of opportunity for placement. The Placement cell is active throughout the year and arranges activities like mock placements to help students. College has collaboration with esteemed organisation like IBM, XEBIA, PCBL etc.

Dissatisfied with the college, there is an unexpected increase in the college fee.

Placements: Till now, the placements in our college are very poor. The average package offered is around 3 LPA. They focus only on the marks and doesn't help in the overall development of the student. Our college doesn't help with co-curricular activities and sports. Our college doesn't support the students for their innovative ideas.
