Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities. The placement cell works very hard to achieve 100% placement every year. They also help students in getting internships. No other college does that. Achieved 90% placement in 2017. Students are kept well informed about different opportunities on as well as off campus.
Placements: Last year, the placements were good. The highest package was in our branch, i.e. 32 LPA. Almost 100% of the students were placed. I feel that I have a secure future after passing out from this institution. We have got wholesome experience by Internships, and everyone is granted a chance every year. Even last year the same happened, and all my seniors seemed extremely satisfied with what they were offered.
Placements: Well the placement of particularly this branch is satisfactory. Its not upto mark. Because very few people of this branch get placed in this branch. But if you are planning for higher studies and not focused on placement it would be good. Since the scope of this branch is higher so one should not focus on placement.
Placements: Placement of civil 2014-2018 batch is better than previous years about 65% of the students got placed in core and non core companies like L&T constructions, Tata projects, Balajee constructions Pvt LTD. , Moglix, Rooms India these were the companies in which various roles was provided to students mainly like GET ( graduate engineer trainee), business analyst, business executive. , Site engineer etc. The highest package offered was 5.28 LPA and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. 100% students...
Placements: Though few no. of students got placement but they are placed in good companies but percentage of no placement is not that much good! Major companies like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, KPIT, Mahindra & Mahindra are here for the recruitment. Upes placement head always give their best to place their students in the best company for them!
Placements: I am so thankful to this university only because of placements. I got so much of knowledge and even the best placement. The placement system is nice in the college completely try to make every student get the placement, and at the end, they almost did that. I had completed my summer internship programme in AMTL which is provided by the university only. Even I also got the placement in energy efficiency services limited (EESL) government, and the sector in my hometown location Lucknow.
Placements: Since all your placement depends upon the way of your performance, and your efforts in interview. Basically the main stage in placement is aptitude and group discussion, so you have to perform well. Also the teacher work hard in bringing core companies such as Vedanata, Reliance and many other companies. So overall FSE is best branch In UPES as it allows 100% placement.
Placements: The placements are good, but it strongly depends on the market conditions for the oil and gas sector. In my batch, almost all the students were placed with the majority being placed on the campus. The placement department is friendly and will try to get you placed.
Placements: Placements are pretty good. Various companies came for various job profiles. More than 70 companies came for the recruitment and similarly happened with the senior batches. 70% of the students got placed from the college itself, and the package offered by the companies was also pretty good.
Placements: The placements are good. Good companies visit the campus, but the placement office people are not that much cooperative. The package that company offers is less compared to IITs and NITs. The placement cell people are partial for some branches as in some branch people have got double placement as well, but in other branches, opportunity is not given.
Placements: The placements in some mainstream branches like APEU and downstream, ADE, chemical are still going on, but till 2021 it will also decrease. The placements for other branches are poor or, not worth it. The placements for the previous 4 years were good, but in upcoming four years, the placements of flagship stream are going to come down. This year (2018) placements were very poor in my branch, that was considered to be its flagship branch.
Placements: The placements for 2014-2018, were around 60% which is not satisfactory for expensive college like UPES. The average salary for ASE engineers is around Rs.25000 per month. Mahindra Aerospace is the main company to visit UPES. Every student gets the opportunity to get an internship from the college itself. These are no paid internships.
Placements: Placements are limited. The deserved ones bag good placements at some of the best companies. The average package offered was around 4.5 LPA. Companies like Rolls Royce, Tata, Mahindra etc. industrial giants visit the campus. The highest placement package was 37 LPA. Almost all students got the internship and were helped during placements.
Placements: Placements are decreasing as years are passing by. The reason is that number of students is increasing, and due to demonitisation, the companies are not hiring students. Our senior's batch faced same issues as 33/61 were placed and the highest package offered was 6 LPA, so after giving 20 LPA, no one wants 6 LPA package. Coming to companies, we have a decent number of companies visiting the campus, internships are a serious matter of concern here, as we don't get permission from the college to i...
Placements: The placements are appreciable at UPES. Highlight courses such as APE, chemical and CS engineering have recorded the best placements records, lifting the aggregate of the college. There's a placement cell with SPRs (student placement representative) allotted for keeping the students informed about all that's happening. Last year, the placements were around 93%, out of which 70% were placed in the core. Internships will be provided to all students from the college unless you decide to search on y...
Placements: Most of the students got placed on the campus. Few students who didn't submit their resumes not got selected like me due to a medical situation, and who didn't participate in the placement process. The companies visited the campus every day so that I couldn't remember all the names. TATA, Denso, etc., are the companies who visited the campus.
Placements: When we talk about placements, it is totally based on your performance throughout this course. Also, you cannot depend on this university for the placements because no company is coming to this university. If I am talking about my branch, then there is no hope for the placements.
Placements: The placements in my college are good, if you study in the IT sector, or aspire to work for it. If you are a student in the core sector, the chances of getting a placement in the same reduce to a mere 50 to 60 percent like any other college in the country and the rest will be placed, if so, in the IT sector. The students from my branch are offered on-field jobs related to working in an oil field, while some get the desk jobs. Almost everyone in my branch gets a few internships during his stint i...
Placements: The placements have been average for my batch since 2014. Only 60% of my senior batch got placed with the highest package being 6.30 LPA offered by Maruti Suzuki, and the average being approximately 3 LPA. In 2014-18 batch, 50% of the students got placed. The average salary is the same at 3 LPA.
Placements: I am still studying in the first year, so I know only about the passed out batch. They had the highest package of 31 LPA, and the lowest was the usual 3.5 LPA. Average is around 6 LPA to 7 LPA. This is due to the low market situation these years. Around 95% students were placed last year from our branch. Companies like Weatherford, Halliburton, Essar oil, L&T, Reliance, Exxon Mobil, Shell, Cairn etc. visit the campus. Every student gets an internship in the third year by the college. The placeme...
