Placements: Placements in our college are average. Most placements are in petroleum engineering and computer science courses. Other branches have few placements. Core branches have the best placements. It does not have mass recruiters.
Placements: Almost the whole class is placed, but not in the core automobile sector. But in the sales and marketing sector which is not suitable as students learn 4 years about automobile and now they get a chance to work as a sales executive so it is a waste for the student.
Placements: It provides a good number of companies that come to the campus for hiring students. This has been extremely good as most of the students have secured placements by now and it's still 6 months for their convocation. So in brief the placements are good in spite of the pandemic.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed. The highest package was 13 lpa and the lowest was 2.4 lpa. Average was around 3.8 lpa. Top recruiting companies are Flipkart, Anand Automotive, Gabriel. Almost every student got internship in major core companies like JBM, Mahindra. Top roles offered was MET (Management Engineer Trainee) .
Placements: More than 90% of students out of which, around 50% of students get placed in core companies. The highest salary package is around 12 LPA for the last year due to covid affecting the industry, and the average salary package offered is around 6 LPA. Shell, ExxonMobil, and HP are some of the top recruiting companies. All of the eligible students get internships, mostly in ONGC. Students get placed mostly as reservoir, production, or drilling engineers.
Placements: Currently, placements are going on, and I am already placed. I think placements are good, even in this COVID situation. About 40-50% of the students from our course got placed in the previous year. Every student gets placed except for some students, so I think that is good enough.
Placements: UPES has excellent placement records, with 94% of the batch getting placed in reputed organisations from the 2020-2021 batch. There is a placement cell in the college that helps students get the best internships and placements.
Placements: Our college has industry alliances with L&T, PBCL, Microsoft, and many more. The number of students placed from SOE is more than 650. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5.30 LPA. Around 94%-95% of the students got placed. The maximum number of students got internships in good companies. Summer internships are also graded here, so one has to do an internship for a better corporate experience.
Placements: 70% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is the top recruiter. 100% of students got internships in NGOs. Flight engineer roles are offered. The college provides good placement opportunities, but you need to work hard for it. The university is supportive and helpful.
Placements: Around 80-90% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was around 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 4.5 LPA. Around 95% of the students got internships in our course in different companies like Carrus Mobility solutions, Vardhan consultancy, etc.
Placements: Around 95% of the students got placed. The average package offered is around 3.5 Lakhs per annum. The companies like Schlumberger, ONGC, Exxon Mobil, etc., came for placements, and these were the top recruiters. Internships are offered to all the students. They provide good exposure to life. The package, I guess, should be more considering the fee we pay.
Placements: The placement percentage is more than 90%. Packages offered are ranging from 10-25 lacs per annum. It is a great course to pursue. Companies like L&T, Hindustan Petroleum and others come here to recruit students. Safety manager and safety designer are some of the roles offered.
Placements: According to me, about 70% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 43 Lakh and the average package is 7.95 Lakh. Top recruiting companies for my course are Shell, Halliburton, Infosys, Reliance etc. 90% of students got internships from my course in ONGC and many other companies. Top roles offered in our course is reservoir engineer, drilling engineer, production engineer.
Placements: Generally, more than 90% of the students get placed every year from our college. If students do not get placed in the major subject which they have chosen, then get placed in some other specialisations in which they have enough knowledge. ONGC and other well-known companies like Reliance, etc., also hire students of UPES from APE upstream.
Placements: In 2019, about 84% of the students got placements, but they got only average salary package and placed in mass recruiters. Petroleum students get placed in IT companies. Since the scope for petroleum in the market is decreasing, less companies are visiting here these days. Only once ONGC visited here and recruited 5 students with a salary package of 15 LPA initially. When our college was established, it was the first college in India to provide a petroleum course. So, companies like Weatherford ...
Placements: I am in the mechanical engineering branch, which is the core branch, and there are many specialisations. In the mechanical branch, placements chances are not high. During covid time, the percentage of placement is very low. However, a company like Tata is visiting here now for placements. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 55% of the students got placed.
Placements: 94 percent of students got placed in the course. The highest package offered was 13.5 LPA, the lowest being 3.5 Lacs and the average packages were of 6.4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Flipkart, Padmini VNA mechatronics private limited, Honeywell, Samsung, Shell.

The highest in mechanical was 10 LPA and the lowest was 1.2 LPA. The top companies were Maruti, Tata, Volvo, Samsung, and many others.
Placements: Overall, half of the batch got placed with companies like Phillips, Carbon Black Limited, Reliance Industries, Pidilite Industries, and Jubilant Life Sciences. Roles as a graduate engineering trainee, technical sales associate, were offered.
