It is the best for petroleum engineering, and placements are the best in it.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Most placements are in petroleum engineering and computer science courses. Other branches have few placements. Core branches have the best placements. It does not have mass recruiters.

This college is average in placements, but good in study purpose.

Placements: Almost the whole class is placed, but not in the core automobile sector. But in the sales and marketing sector which is not suitable as students learn 4 years about automobile and now they get a chance to work as a sales executive so it is a waste for the student.

This is a great place to study with various accreditation.

Placements: It provides a good number of companies that come to the campus for hiring students. This has been extremely good as most of the students have secured placements by now and it's still 6 months for their convocation. So in brief the placements are good in spite of the pandemic.

The infrastructure of our college is good.

Placements: Currently, placements are going on, and I am already placed. I think placements are good, even in this COVID situation. About 40-50% of the students from our course got placed in the previous year. Every student gets placed except for some students, so I think that is good enough.

Placements: 70% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is the top recruiter. 100% of students got internships in NGOs. Flight engineer roles are offered. The college provides good placement opportunities, but you need to work hard for it. The university is supportive and helpful.

Placements: Around 95% of the students got placed. The average package offered is around 3.5 Lakhs per annum. The companies like Schlumberger, ONGC, Exxon Mobil, etc., came for placements, and these were the top recruiters. Internships are offered to all the students. They provide good exposure to life. The package, I guess, should be more considering the fee we pay.

It has great infrastructure and location, amazing facilities and great and supportive teachers.

Placements: Generally, more than 90% of the students get placed every year from our college. If students do not get placed in the major subject which they have chosen, then get placed in some other specialisations in which they have enough knowledge. ONGC and other well-known companies like Reliance, etc., also hire students of UPES from APE upstream.

Placements are less, but you can still keep a hope for placements.

Placements: In 2019, about 84% of the students got placements, but they got only average salary package and placed in mass recruiters. Petroleum students get placed in IT companies. Since the scope for petroleum in the market is decreasing, less companies are visiting here these days. Only once ONGC visited here and recruited 5 students with a salary package of 15 LPA initially. When our college was established, it was the first college in India to provide a petroleum course. So, companies like Weatherford ...

It has the best infrastructure, but placements and teachers are not that good as it has to be.

Placements: I am in the mechanical engineering branch, which is the core branch, and there are many specialisations. In the mechanical branch, placements chances are not high. During covid time, the percentage of placement is very low. However, a company like Tata is visiting here now for placements. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 55% of the students got placed.
