Overall, my opinion about the college is mediocre, but still, I will appreciate it.

Placements: The placements in the college are quite nominal, but the good thing is that they provide 100 percent placements. An average salary package of 2.5-4 lacs per annum is offered since I have been persuading an integrated course, so internships are mandatory and the college is fulfilling it.

The only energy sector university of Asia.

Placements: Has an excellent placement cell with various government, private, corporate participate. The average package for law lies between 5 to 7 lacs per annum. The specialisation of energy law also attracts companies like ONGC to take freshers from the batch.

A review on School of law - University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: Though the criminal law is the first batch, we can't say about the placements. But, in other subfields of law, the last year placement percentage was 90%, and it's a good percentage for a law student. Top law firms of India visited UPES and other companies too who want a legal advisory for their company.

A college whose very own employed proctor says it is better to invest 5 lakh rupees a year elsewhere

Placements: The percentage of students placed is high,. Well that is only because they let a select few students to sit for placements. The college average package for a student is 3.75 which is even lesser than what a student pays here for an year. And they offer campus placements, which is another reason why most teachers leave mid semester and hang the students with due courses.

I like the prize money given by the college in the different competitions.

Placements: The placement is good in this college, and if we talk about the B.Tech computer science has the good placements. This time, nearly 248 students got placed by L&T with an annual package of 6 LPA, and a lot of other companies visit our college for the recruitment. Most of the students got placed.

UPES is beautiful in the mountains of Dehradun.

Placements: I am pursuing taxation laws, and 60% of the students got placed in very good and reputed firms. One of the students of UPES got 17.8 LPA package in a topmost firm of Delhi. The appreciation goes to college for the all-round development of the students and their growth.

UPES: School of Law in progressive development.

Placements: The placements are not very decent as the package is not according to the current sustainable market price. The average that a law student is getting is about 3 LPA only and job location in metro cities which makes it difficult for the survival. The internship from college is also not very great, and not all can get an internship from the college, so mostly one is on its own.

School of law-UPES, a last resort for students who don't manage to crack CLAT.

Placements: Placements in 2016 were alright. Last year it was 2017 which were not good at all as the placement in-charge left just before the placements were about to start. This year also, it hasn't been so fruitful, but as we all know the corporate sector is currently down so it may go up by the next year or so. The highest package might have gone up to Rs. 15 to 17 Lakhs, but it was for just one person. The average must have remained in the category of Rs. 4-5 Lakhs which nobody would take. No big compan...

There are mixed feelings regarding UPES.

Placements: The placement here at UPES is quite good than other low-level NLUs. The average package here is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. If you are a good student, with good academics, as well as co-curricular activities, like moots, PD, mediation etc. Then you will have a brighter change.

It's not the college, it's the attitude of the students.

Placements: Though the placements depend on the scenario prevailing in the industry, if you are looking forward to working with some private company or LPOs, the college will get you placed in the same. The internships usually the college provides for the same from 3rd year onwards. Usually, 90% of the students who sit for college internship gets in some or the other firm.

One of the best and perfect college.

Placements: The placements are quite good. According to the calibre, one get a placement. The faculty helps the students a lot to be placed. The students of management law and engineering are placed in the placements. The students do not regret after studying here. Everything you can get here, what a student want at this university.

A good college for hardworking students.

Placements: This college gives ample amount of opportunities to law students. After that, it totally depends on an individual and how much he can grab. Overall, the average placement is around 4 lacs per annum which is a good package for a fresher. Law is a field where one requires experience so that, the more experience you get, the more new heights you'll reach.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members, director and all the facilities provided in college.

Placements: Companies like Vadani Group, PWC, Sriram General Insurance, Quizlex, Mindcrest, NGOs and many other law firms came for recruitment. The lowest package offered was 2.6 lacs whereas 6 lacs was the highest package. An average of Rs. 4 lacs was maintained by them. Around 90% students who were willing got placed satisfactorily.

The college is growing fast.

Placements: There was probably 75% to 85% of placements in the previous year. That is, in the year 2016 to 2017. It is said that the remaining students weren't placed because they wanted to pursue their higher studies. They have an entire team of faculty, just arranged to look into the child's placement from the 4th year.

Basically an expensive side option.

Placements: As far as I have seen or heard about the placements of this college are very poor and primary. UPES is a growing college and unless until the next few years it changes dramatically, it has not proceeded much in the placements sector. We are all hoping that the placements get better by the time we graduate.

Great weather, placement, and surroundings that give you enough boost to become awesome!

Placements: Around 97% of the students get placed in UPES. They have n number of contacts and links. The college makes sure that you get placed unless you don't want it. The average package here is 6 LPA. Since the only batch from cyberlaw just passed out, the universal package of 38 LPA was offered here. The lowest here is about 2-3 LPA.

An above average law college with unique courses.

Placements: Practically speaking, there are less than 30 law colleges in India which have a dedicated placement cell and UPES is one among them. UPES is very directed towards its placement and has a dedicated placement cell. However, most of the offers are from companies and LPO and a very few are from law firms. To list a few company that I am aware of, who have recruited from UPES are L&T, Adani, SERI Equipment Finance, ARCIL, PWC, TCI, Kotak Mahindra, etc. Apart from that LPOs like Queslex, Mind merchan...

Placements: Our senior batches this year were placed at about 50% of whom we know, while the rest went for either LLM or judiciary. This year till now, 79% of the students had been placed as far as we know. The lowest salary offered was of around 2-2.5 lakhs and the maximum went up to 5.5-6 lakhs. Placements: The placements for our senior batches were quite good. 80% of our seniors got placed in the top law firms. We have were told that our highest package was 17 LPA and the average package was 3.8 LPA. Amarchand & Mangaldas were among some of the top listed companies who came here for placements. According to my knowledge, our college did not provide us with any internships till now. The students here have to go to another city to do their internships.
