Honest review of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.
Placements: I am from Delhi University SOL, and they don't provide placement. The rest of the colleges of Delhi University provide placements, but the school of open learning does not provide anything, but they organize many events like internships, which are for 3rd year students, which is quite difficult in the process.
Infrastructure: We do not have any specific college. We get classes on Sunday in other colleges of Delhi University, which are taken by the professors there. However, most of the professors are good and they teach well. Our college does not provide any facilities like sports events or hostels. It is a distance college.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced. Their method of teaching is very good from an exam point of view. According to me, if you are studying through distance, then you should be able to do self-study because in this college you get only 10 to 15 classes, which is not enough. If you are doing self-study, then the time given for studying between exams is sufficient for a normal student, which can be 4 to 5 months .
Other: My fee this year is Rs 9220, which is not justified by the facilities given to me in any way. I had to study from a distance so I chose S.O.L. Talking about campus life, if your Sunday class is being held on the North Campus or South Campus, then you can visit many good places and try some good food.

My Review of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.
Placements: From what I know, this college or university does not provide any placement facilities. So, based on my experience, if you're seeking recruitment opportunities here, you might end up feeling regretful and disappointed. However, overall, it was a great experience.
Infrastructure: Speaking of infrastructure, the campus is spacious and clean, featuring a beautiful garden and a great canteen with good food options. During exams, they provide good support, and the university offers high-speed Wi-Fi connections.
Faculty: During exam times, the university shines in terms of faculty support. The teachers were very helpful throughout the exams, explaining everything, whether practical or theoretical, in a simplified manner that made it easy to understand.

Overall, it is an average college for students pursuing professional courses.
Placements: As DU SOL provides courses of distance learning, there are fewer chances of placements. Although they provide us with a placement portal which is not so good. None of the students get placement from DU SOL. Students have to apply for placements or jobs themselves.
Infrastructure: As in DU SOL, you are pursuing your graduation through distance learning so there is no requirement for a hostel. And regarding infrastructure, it is not so good. It is okay for the students, particularly for SOL students. The university provides classes in different colleges of the University.
Faculty: Courses totally depend on students and how they are performing, and how they are working towards their courses. Regarding exams, they are the same as the exams for students of DU. Centers are allocated to SOL students in different colleges of the University.

    Best for distance learning.
Placements: Just for getting a degree, you can choose DU as a distance course. No CA firm will approve that you have done B.Com. as it was not regular college. The top roles offered in B.Com. can be accountants if you have good skills like tallying, and other good skills.
Infrastructure: Just your home and tuition, as you are allowed only Saturday and Sunday to go to college. Online classes are also available on the Sol website. Exams are easy. I just read the last 10 years and refer to the free YouTube lectures for your B.Com. classes and you are ready to go for exam .
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, sweet, qualified, and knowledgable. The quality of the teaching is pretty good. The course is relevant, but it does not prepare students for the industry unless they come from one of the big four colleges. Exams are easy in the college and passing percent is good—approximately 80 percent students pass.
Other: Easy for graduation. I just want Sol College to conduct regular classes. No event is ever organized.

DU Sol: the campus with great opportunities.
Placements: There were thousands of students enrolled in my bachelor's course and the highest package students were getting those days was around 400000 per year, and the minimum package was around 300000. Top roles were offered by companies involving commerce.
Infrastructure: There were classes for evening and day shifts for boys as well as for girls on the weekend organized by the college in Moti Lal Nehru College, Moti Bagh and the quality of the studies was really good. There were all the facilities available on the college campus.
Faculty: The teachers involved in the teaching staff were very supportive and very experienced in their field of study, and they played an important role in preparing students to survive in the complex environment of industries and the percentage during my batch was ninety.

Review of school of open learning.
Placements: No placements. No packages are offered; you can expect a salary of 15,000 per month, not more than that. Small companies may accept, but your skills matter a lot. Internships require skills or references. No top roles can be mentioned. It cannot be more than an executive; you need higher education.
Infrastructure: Library not provided. No hostel. You must have to get into regular colleges to get access, as if you want to go into that as I have seen some, they are not as good as you are in private, but if it is a government college, then you will feel it for sure. You must regret in their canteen; not good.
Faculty: Teachers knowledgeable. This course makes you ready only if you have skills. Or it's just a piece of paper. Industry truth. B.Com as a degree is not worth it or any degree if you don't have any skill. Degree nowadays is not the need of the hour. Very easy for those who study, or who do not study anything difficult for them.
Other: 4 lakh students in SOL. You can choose it if you are doing any professional course side by side. Events and fests only in DU regular colleges.
