The college is a good knowledge research centre.

Placements: There is no placement cell of auto-learning. There is no internship for students, and students face many competitions in different fields. In this college, students don't get proper knowledge for their further activities, so they won't have any experience and any preparation.

It is absolutely tough to pass in exams here.

Placements: It is a distance course and does not offer any placements to students because classes are not conducted regularly. Our college doesn't offer any opportunity for us. So, you can take admission in this college just for the purpose of a degree.

I am partially satisfied due to the shortage of classrooms provided by the college.

Placements: I don't know about the salary offered and top recruiting companies for our course. I don't know about top roles and the salary package which were offered to the students in our course. I don't know the exact percentage of students who got placements and internships in our course.

It is an average college.

Placements: Not many placements are available within the campus as it is not recognised and valued as much as a regular Delhi University so I would prefer to apply for private placements rather than being dependent on the campus placements. The course curriculum is the same.

Our college has good, supportive and hardworking teachers.

Placements: Being an open college of DU, SOL offers a degree course for students, but students have to try to be in the top to get placed. So the placements offered are very less as around 3 to 4% of the students got placed. The average salary offered in the last year was Rs. 25,000 per month. Some of the humanity companies visit here for placements. SOL doesn't guarantee a job, but it is the best option for those students who want to pursue CA or some additional higher degrees, along with a certificate cou...

I am not satisfied with SOL.

Placements: As it is an open learning college, you have to work on your own. It is not a regular college, so it does not provide any placements. It only provides education, and after three years, the student will get a degree from the college but not placements.

Review of School of Open Learning (SOL DU), University of Delhi.

Placements: B.Com course of SOL is totally equal to the regular one, but they have some disadvantages. SOL teachers didn't give you avowedly mark like regular, and they don't have a practical knowledge which increases your marks and performance. So indirectly, SOL is a little difficulty as compared to regular. Placements are provided, but SOL is not highly beneficial because B.Com degree didn't have that much available to offer more than Rs. 15,000 to 25,000 per month. So after B.Com, do professional course...

Expect placement, the overall experience is quite good, but improvement can be made in placements.

Placements: There is no placement in this college. No companies invited. In terms of placement, the campus has a very low percentage as very few companies visit the campus and campus does not invite many companies for the placement drive. Even the company which come for the placement drive offers a very low package for which the students are unwilling to join the company. The companies coming for the placement have a shallow profile and provide deplorable working conditions. So in this division, the college...

The fee is average and the faculty are good.

Placements: School of Open Learning provides distance courses for students who are unable to join the regular classes. SOL is just providing scope to all those to be graduate, and there is no placement facility provided by SOL.

Review of School of Open Learning (SOL DU), University of Delhi.

Placements: Since it is an open university, it does not offer any placements. The university does not provide placements. The university provides you only a platform which provides a degree but not the placements. It is best suitable for those students who want to study while they are working.
