Our college is good for students who joined here for certificates and not for knowledge.

Placements: Chances of getting placed are very low because it is an open university. Our university is only good for certificate courses for students who opt for any professional course. The percentage of students getting internships from this course is very low.

Review of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.

Placements: There are no such placements and recruitments in SOL. Even they do not provide internships. After completion of this course, you can easily do masters for the same.

It is a good college with good teachers.

Placements: Our university is good, but it's impossible to get placements from here and well-arranged things. You should definitely visit this college as it is a very good college. School of open learning provides you with a platform where you can educate yourself at minimum cost.

If students want to study for competitive exams, then it is a good option for open learning.

Placements: A very less number of students got placed under SOL. Internships opportunities were not provided. Placements cell of our college does not provide regular updates, and other features like regular colleges of DU do. I suggest opting for DU and SOL only if they were pursuing some professional course along with graduation. There was a huge gap between the value of regular college and distance learning.

Review of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.

Placements: I am studying right now, so I do not know about placements. It conducts many programs and internships for students. But the placements are not so good as the students are studying itself. Therefore it is upon your luck to get a good placement or not.

I am not happy because of its placements, infrastructure, and insufficient facilities.

Placements: Around 5% of students were placed in our course. The top recruiting companies for our course were KPMG, EY, Deloitte, Genpact, and Accenture. The top roles offered in our course were audit assistant and internal auditor. The highest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 1.8 LPA.

I am dissatisfied because of their marking scheme, and the improvement exam system is also not good.

Placements: There are no placements in SOL. You should rely on your own contacts for that. They have introduced some sales jobs of ICICI Bank, and the pay was very low. I was not expecting such jobs from SOL. I was working from my 1st year, so I recommend you gain industry experience with correspondence studies.

SOL is beneficial for those who want to do a job or any business along with their studies.

Placements: Almost 30-40% of students got placed in my course. In SOL, very few students got internships in my course. The competition is very high at this level, and jobs are very less in India. You can go for accountants, CA and banking in this course.

It is a good college for those who didn't get admission to regular college and have other plans.

Placements: This college provides low placements. It has placements but a very low number of opportunities for students. There are 2 placement opportunities in the 2019 - 2020 session NIIT and one other company.

Supportive staff and teachers but no placements.

Placements: I don't think SOL, DU gives any kind of placements to the students.

Review of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.

Placements: There are no placements offered by this institution. It is a distance learning institute, and you have to look for an internship on your own. Companies do not come here for recruitment. However, some offers are rolled out for recruitment, but you can not rely on the institute itself for placements.

I am dissatisfied with the opportunities opened after the course.

Placements: Placement opportunity for students is below average rate as the study from SOL is not given much importance as compared to regular college. Although some students are getting placements at good places, but it is mostly seen as a graduation degree source.

Overall, it is an average college for me.

Placements: I was studying just to get a degree. I am in 3D modelling artist, and it is a completely different field. There are more than 4 lacks students in our batch, and in our course, roles offered are related to accounts.

I am a B.Com student, and I recommend joining SOL if you are looking for a backup career option.

Placements: 34% of students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA, the lowest package offered was 1.5 LPA, and the average package was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Dalmia Group, HDB Financial Service, ISA Global and NIIT LTD. None of the students got placed.

Review of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.

Placements: One of the drawbacks to graduate from SOL is that it does not provide any good placement facilities. Students have to search for jobs on their own. Top recruiting companies here are Dalmia Group, NIIT and ISA Global. Very few students get the opportunity to get placements. Even the salary packages offered are very low.

The college has value for money. Your hard work is also needed.

Placements: I'm in my first year, I don't know much about placements, but as I saw reviews on Google, it's not so good. Regular college is more valuable than the SOL. So I think the placements are not that good at SOL. You can opt for a regular college for a better placement.

Absolutely satisfied because of fees but dissatisfied due to placements.

Placements: Sol does not provide any good placements. Students have to search jobs by themselves and this is the major problem of doing graduation from SOL. The student doing B.com can become an accountant, accounts manager and get jobs related to accounts field.

SOL, DU is the best college for students who want open learning.

Placements: As it is one good opportunity for students who want to pursue graduation, School of Open Learning is an advantage. But there is no proper placement cell, etc. We do not get recruitment from our college. None of the companies visits here for interviews.
