Review of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.

Placements: Students opt for DU as they want to pursue other courses also. The percentage is low or financial constraints. A handful of students only attend classes, and covid made it further difficult. Our college doesn't offer any placements. You have to search on your own.

Infrastructure is good, but faculty members are bad.

Placements: I don't think we get placements on the basis of our scores or skills. We only get internships, which are not even paid. We don't even get notified about our exams. Books were not delivered the last time when our semester happened.

Our college provides good study and really good facilities.

Placements: The lowest salary offered here is Rs. 20,000 per month, and the highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month. HDFC Bank, SBI Bank, Punjab Bank, all accountant companies, etc., visit here for placements. Accountant, businessman, company accountancy, banking line, company secretary and income tax department roles are offered in our course.

Satisfied with the curriculum.

Placements: 20% of students got placed as many do not prefer on-campus placements, so the percentage is low. The highest package offered may be around 4 LPA, and the average package is around 2-3 LPA. I would recommend you all to go for off-campus placements. I believe it is better in comparison.

I am satisfied because of faculty members, but placements in 2021 are average.

Placements: Around 30% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. New startup companies are the top recruiters. Some roles offered in our college are student leader, college fest organiser and many others. Startups visit here to hire students.

This college is not good for placements.

Placements: Many students did not get placed. The highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA, the average salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Internship exposure was not provided. More job opportunities should be offered. Students have to apply for jobs on their own anywhere in the private and government sector.

Our college faculty members are educated and well-experienced.

Placements: Placements are not available, and any salary packages are also not offered. None of the companies is recruiting, and internships are also not offered. It is only a degree college, but it is better than any other college. It provides better knowledge about subjects.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty members, infrastructure and placements provided.

Placements: Initially, placements are not provided by Delhi University for non-regular students. There are not any internship programmes and not any activities that improve students skills. Even for regular students, Delhi University failed to provide better placement opportunities. Only a few DU colleges are known for their placements, which are on the North Campus.

My overall experience was good.

Placements: 20% of the students were placed. The highest package was 2.5 LPA, average was 2 LPA and the lowest was 1 LPA. LIC was the top recruiting company. There was no internship exposure provided. Mostly, profiles related to the sales field were offered. Overall, better job opportunities should be offered.

SOL, DU is a paradise for professional courses.

Placements: I'm a student of B.Com (Hons). I enrolled in this course in 2019, and I successfully passed 3 semesters. I didn't hear about a single student getting placed from SOL. There are no recruiting companies. I recommend not to join SOL if you want to get a good job. Because in SOL, you have to study on your own.

Review of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.

Placements: Students who're already doing some other course or jobs on the other side join SOL. You can get placed from college but only this degree is not enough you should also have other skills. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered varies from Rs. 6,000 per month - Rs. 7,000 per month. Many companies all over India are searching for new talents, therefore, you can try anywhere. Around 10-20 persons get internships through the name of the college. Roles offere...

It is a good college with a good course.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements for correspondence courses. It doesn't even take responsibility for your placements or groom you for the same. You have to get ready on your own, so don't rely on the college for placements. You need to find an internship on your own, and the college doesn't even provide you with internships.

I don't recommend any student to join SOL as it is the worst college.

Placements: The minimum academic percentage required to get admission to SOL is 40%. The lowest salary offered here is Rs. 10,000 per month, while the highest salary depends on the field which you pursue. After completing graduation in B.Com Honours, you will get a job in data handling, chart preparation, etc. Top companies which hire students from here are Google, Twitter, etc.

SOL offers many courses for distance learning, and the degrees are valuable.

Placements: For pursuing this course, you need 50% of marks in their 12th standard from any stream. Getting placement through SOL is very tough because hardly any company comes to recruit students. There are no internship facilities at SOL. After doing this course, we just get a valuable degree.

Overall, it is an average college.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. As it is a distance learning college, they don't provide any placement. In 2018, DU SOL took in the direction of placement of its students, and some companies started visiting here. If you are looking for placements, I recommend not to consider this college.

People who want to pursue any professional course along with a degree can take admission here.

Placements: Around 20% of the students got placed. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Ernst & Young (EY) and KPMG India, KPMG Global Services, Genpact, American Express, etc., companies visit the college. Around 10% of the students got internships in KPMG India. Accounting and auditing, financial services, BPO, and commercial banking roles are offered.

It is the best college for students who want to make their time productive.

Placements: I am pursuing graduation from School of Open Learning, Delhi University. It is a great opportunity for students who want to pursue other degrees with their graduation or who want to work somewhere.

Poor placement and average facilities.

Placements: I don't know about the placements of this college, because this college provides correspondence courses which are very effective for the students who are pursuing other courses apart from the UG course. The average package offer is 2.5 Lacs.

If you want a graduate degree, then this college is good, but there is no scope for placements.

Placements: About 50% of the students take admission in B.A programme here, but there is no opportunity for placements in DU SOL. There are no placements and also internships in our college. However, DU students can get internship offers in some of the most popular firms in their field.

Faculty members are good, and the infrastructure is also good but placements are very bad.

Placements: Placements are really very bad here because none of our classmates got placed during my tenure. The placement rate is zero, and companies don't visit here for placements. This college is only to get a degree, and if you want only a degree, then you can opt for it. Otherwise, it is not a good option for placements.
