A good college with average placement.
Placements: Around 70-80 % of students are placed every year
the highest package is about 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, HCL, etc., About 60-70% of students get an internship.
Infrastructure: The College has centrally air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi-enabled LCD projectors. It has tutorial rooms, a library, a state-of-the-art seminar room, and a fully equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of over 750 persons. The College takes pride in being a differently-able friendly campus with new ramps, lifts, and special washrooms added to the building. Also, the College has various facilities to address the reading, hearing, and understanding requirements of various students. The hostel is very strict and good, mess is also okay. There is not much scope for sports in our college.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good. The exams are tough. Teachers prepare us well for exams. Some faculty members are excellent and we feel so happy.
Other: Most recruiters look for job-ready candidates hence education institutes are fast-adopting courses and curriculum that meet industry needs. Engineering is the most scoped degree in India. Engineers are the future of the country. In designing a structure or a product, the engineer selects methods, specifies materials, and determines shapes to satisfy technical requirements and meet performance specifications.

Our college has a good environment to study in.
Placements: About 50% -65% of students get placed in our college, the highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Infosys, Capgemini, Byjus, and Wipro, are some of our top recruiting companies. Around 30% got an internship in Digi-Tech company. Software developer and data analyst are the top roles of our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, we have all the necessary facilities. We have labs, an auditorium, a sports ground, and a place for cultural events. Many numbers of books and computers are present in our college. The classroom is equipped with projectors and smartboards.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and experienced. The curriculum is relevant and makes us ready for the industry. Semester exams are not too difficult, it is manageable, and more than 80% of students pass. Just by studying 3 modules, we can pass our exams easily.

This college is for students who scored KCET rank more than 35,000-40,000 for the CSE branch.
Placements: About 60-70% of the students from the CSE branch got placed according to 2020 batch. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA by Byju's, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Byju's, OneBill Software, DXC Technology, Pentagon Space Pvt Ltd, SLK Software, Mindtree, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty good, and labs are well-equipped with good instructors. The library is also well-equipped with many books and journals. The hostel is great. Furniture in the hostel rooms is great, and the rooms are spacious. Food provided in the hostel mess and college canteen is only vegetarian. In the hostel mess, they follow a weekly menu which consists of a variety of dishes, and the food usually consists of fewer spices.
Faculty: Most of the teachers and lecturers in the CSE branch of our college are qualified and knowledgeable, and they teach well and cover the syllabus in time. They also teach current trends of the market and try to make students industry-ready. Most of the lecturers are PhD holders, and others are pursuing it.
Other: My KCET rank was around 50,000, so I have chosen this college, and I think I made the right choice. I would recommend joining the college if your KCET rank is greater than 30,000. If your rank is below 30,000, then I suggest searching for other colleges. There are some fests and events in our college, but I suggest not to keep high expectations.

SDM Institute of technology is an average college.
Placements: For our batch, placements were poor, at least not better compared to some colleges based in Bangalore. But on the positive side, we were allowed to sit for pool campus placement in the Bangalore region, which was good. The top recruiting companies were Tech Mahindra, HP, and a few other service-based companies. Percentage of placed students was low for 20 to 30%.
Infrastructure: College campus is good. When we were in the first year new hostels were being constructed by now I guess everyone can be accommodated on campus itself. But the campus is far away from town, to get supplies one needs to travel for 2 KM. Classrooms are of our college are good. Hostels are fine. The hostel Wi-Fi was pretty bad then, and I guess it must have improved now.
Faculty: If you want to learn coding and new tech you won't find a lot of helpful lecturers, its just marks, internals, labs and course projects. After completion of a degree, I felt the environment has to support to gain knowledge in the ever-changing IT field for survival.
Other: I was interested in computer science since my +12 days. Faculty in CS dept were comparatively better. My advice to anyone who is interested in joining here is that its not bad but it's not excellent. Like everything else, you need to know and put effort for what you desire.
