Highly satisfied with the scholarships and the guidance of faculty members.
Placements: The placements provided by our college are not like other renowned private colleges. But, the students of the marine department have 80% chances of getting a good job. On the other hand, the students who were under the Seacom Skill University got good placements. Students under MAKAUT lack chances of getting good placements.
Infrastructure: Labs are old, but we can perform the experiments present in our syllabus. There is a huge playground, and a basketball ground available. The library has all the books related to our syllabus, and other reference books are also available. Medical facilities are good, first-aid and other small treatments are available. The college has a minibus and an ambulance.
Faculty: The faculty members are very hard working. Their teaching techniques are good. More than five faculty members are present in every branch. All the faculty are well-qualified. In the 3rd year, the college provides free industry exposure for better learning and working experience. The course curriculum is very useful. The faculty guide us about our future by providing training and sharing their experiences.
Other: A tech fest, fresher's party, a farewell party are conducted in the college every year. The environment outside the campus is calm. There is not much traffic and other disturbances.

Seacom Engineering College Review.
Placements: There was no placement at all, we got jobs through off campus. Overall training and placement experience was very bad throughout. We had lots off meetings with our placement officer but in vain. There was not a single company that turned up when we were in the final year.
Infrastructure: I would say overall infrastructure was moderate. We had quality laboratories and equipments throughout all semesters. Also I would mention about the huge football ground and also basketball ground. These grounds were our main time pass. Also the ATM and college bus facility was good.
Faculty: The faculty members were average I would say. Although our department hod was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had done our final year project under her supervision and it was a grand success. Even after our college completed we used to take suggestions from her.
Other: There was fest and other events every year mostly organized by us.

Not a good college for making the future.
Placements: The placements in the college are worst. The companies which come to the campus for recruitment were very low. They were providing Rs. 10k-12k only per month, and there is no TA, DA, accommodation or food. Out of 6 companies at the campusing 3 were BPO and KPO, 2 were fake, and 1 was genuine. But unfortunately, they took 4 candidates out of almost 200 or more candidates. By providing false advertisements of placements. The highest salary package was Rs. 20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the moderate type. The buildings and labs in the college are average. Some of the labs didn't have the one is to one system. Other than that everything is good. The food in the canteen is not good at all. They used to charge for the medical facilities.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are helpful but others are not. All of them are qualified but most of them had not uo to the mark teaching. Attending their class is can be replaced by the books. They didn't provided in depth knowledge or understanding of the subject. Other than that everything is fine.
Other: The number of the books in the library was very less for the students. The college management used to charge extra fees in every semester. But in return students didn't get any facilities. They provided cheap uniforms, shoes and coat. The management didn't help the students to organise tech fests and cultural fests. The college didn't organise on-campus recruitment processes with any of the good companies.

Seacom Engineering College is one of the well-known and finest technical institutions at Kolkata.
Placements: Most of them are placed. The faculty members are very helpful but in West Bengal, it is hard to get a job in ECE field. But some BPOs also visit for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The campus is nice. It has reputation for its marine engineering. It's situated beside Ambuja cement. The main building has an underground library facility and a garden, which is awesome. It has an ATM and ambulance. Every month, the management conducts a health check-up.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful. But some of them are rude. Very strict with respect to the syllabus. There should be more seminars conducted for students so that we can gather more knowledge.
