    All about Shivaji college.
Placements: Placement opportunities at Shivaji College are good. Many large MNCs recruit from our college, but they tend to hire students with good grades. To get placed, we need to learn the skills required by employers. There are certain student organizations that can help us do this, such as the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) and the Placement Cell, which teach students the skills needed to work in corporate settings.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Shivaji College is good, but only if we look at the Jijabai block. The old building has been roughly used and not taken care of. Also, the sports ground is separate from the building, which makes the campus seem small. On the plus side, there is a lot of greenery and a big lawn.
Faculty: The faculty at Shivaji College are very qualified and provide a lot of support to students. However, they are very strict about internal assessment and attendance. But in the end, all the professors are very supportive and helpful, and we can learn a lot from them, not only about our course but also about life in general.

Course and college environment are good.
Placements: Around 89.4% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 34 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA to 7 LPA. The average salary package offered is almost 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, TCS, DE Shaw, and Infosys. The internship opportunities vary from year to year. On average, 76% of students from our course secured internships as senior software developers, data analysts, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is almost average. Labs are below average, as they are old. Classrooms are good. Library is also good, and it has facilities for a digital library. Hostels are older, so their condition is below average. The food quality is good in both mess and canteen. There are lots of facilities for sports and games like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and carrom.
Faculty: Faculty members are all top-notch and friendly. We are free to talk to them anytime when necessary. They teach efficiently and keep the class more interactive than a one-way delivery. Course curriculum is large, wide-spread, and gives everyone the best opportunity to choose for themselves. Semester exams are on a maintained standard.

    College Experience and Placement Issue.
Placements: College placements are average, and you don't find good companies with the best salary. The salary is too low for a graduate student. Mostly, you find startup companies for job placement and a very decent salary. Some big companies are giving good salaries for freshers, like Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility available for students. They have to find one themselves. You can get in touch with your senior students; they will help you find hostels near the college. Canteen food is a waste, no value for money. But you can eat from outside the college.
Faculty: College teachers are good and understand the problems of students for not attending classes, as they know students are preparing for competitive exams. But there is an attendance issue; all the time when you have to sign your admit card, you can use medical reasons to meet the attendance criteria.
Other: As a fresher very difficult to choose the course, but Hons is better than Prog.

Best off campus college of DU.
Placements: The highest salary package at our college was around 24 lakhs per annum, the median salary package was around 4 lakhs per annum, and the average salary package was around 6 lakhs per annum. Around 30-40% of students were placed. Many students opt for higher studies in India or abroad, and many prepare for competitive exams like UPSC, CDS, and SSC.
Infrastructure: The college campus is decent-sized, with two buildings: a new building and an old building. Both buildings have Wi-Fi and all other necessary facilities, such as water coolers and fans. However, there is no air conditioning in the classrooms.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well qualified and very friendly. They are always ready to help students with any doubts they may have. However, they are quite strict about attendance. There are weekly or monthly tests for almost every subject, and weekly assignments are given to students. Students are not forced to take notes; it is up to them to decide whether or not to do so.

It is the best off-campus college at Delhi University.
Placements: Placements at our college are pretty good compared to other off-campus colleges under Delhi University. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. In the end, what truly matters is students' academic performance and skills. Placements cannot be acquired by everyone so it purely depends on how students are.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty good. The new building is pretty good. At the same time, the old building needs some work on it. There is some problem here and there. Overall, the infrastructure of our college is good. It needs a bit of work and it will be awesome.
Faculty: All faculty members are well-qualified and have a friendly nature. Especially, Ramesh sir of business law is the best teacher in our course. Other teachers are good. Attendance is too much for all teachers. They are always ready to solve students' doubts.
Other: Fest and seminars take place occasionally.

Review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Placements from the college are not exceptional, but the placement cell is active. Students are expected to reach out to companies themselves. Internships are helpful to get experience certificates, which could be useful for future job applications. However, less than 10% of students make use of this placement cell.
Infrastructure: Even though multiple labs are present for practical classes, only the newly constructed one has fully functioning computers. Other labs are old and 30% of computers do not work. Labs are equipped with air conditioners but classrooms are not. Wi-Fi is available in the college library. The library is decent with books available according to the syllabus. The hostel and mess are not available in the college. Most outstation students live in rented flats or PGs. The sports complex is one of the biggest at Delhi University and promotes football, cricket, tennis, and basketball. A partially functioning medical center is also available for students. The total college fee includes the hospital charges.
Faculty: Our professors are well-qualified and helpful to regular students. Even though there are over 120 students in a batch which is divided into two classes of 60. Hardly 10-15 students attend the classes regularly. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready if properly utilised. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Students who start preparing one month before exams can pass it with ease. The pass percentage is 60%.
