SCET has a air-conditioned library functioning in a separate building having a built-up area of 2000 Sqm and with capacity of 216. The library has more than 62,000 volumes of books covering all disciplines of Engineering and Technology, Science & Humanities and Management. The library has an extensive collection of books and is augmented on a continuous basis. The library subscribes to popular periodicals, national and international journals. A large number of CD-ROMs and audio cassettes are a supplementary digital resource offered. The library provides On-line access to a large number of journals from IEEE, ASME, ASCE, and Springer & INFORMS The library provides various services such as book Lending Service & Reference Service, Journals & News Paper Service, Question Bank, Internet & e-journals, CD ROM Lending, Scanning & Printing, Renewal and Reservation of Books and Digital Library & Audio Visuals

SCET has hostel separately for boys and girls with respective messes attached to the hostels provide hygienic and quality food. R/O drinking water is supplied, Spacious outdoor and indoor games facilities are provided for the students. A Qualified Medical officer visits the hostels thrice a week to take care of the health of the students. There are separate generators as stand-by for supply of electricity continuously. A vehicle in hostel for emergency use is in place at 24/7 basis.

Adequate transport facilities are being provided for the benefit of students and staff coming from various outskirts of the city. Around 25 college buses ply to transport the students from various places like Trichy town, REC/BHEL, Manapparai, K.K Nagar and Lalgudi. In addition to the Punctual service,the college transport also ensures the safety and security of the students.
