Review of Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy and Technology Management (SPPSPTM).
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed. The lowest package offered is 5-6 LPA, the highest package is 9-10 LPA, and the average package is 7-8 LPA. The top recruiters are Sun Pharma, Alkem, Glenmark, Torrent, Mankind, Cipla etc. 70-80% of students got internships during Covid. Earlier, it used to be 100%. Students are mostly recruited for sales, marketing, and business analysts.
Infrastructure: The college has great labs. Almost costly equipment is available. The classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with smart boards. The library is air-conditioned and the best in class. Mumbai is a crowded place, so you actually don't get hostels and sports facilities. But they make sure that everything is available, and the students have overall growth.
Faculty: The teachers are great, and they have a really good approach towards teaching and making things easier for the students. The course curriculum produces the best executives for the pharma industry, who are both technically sound and management-appropriate. Overall, 6 GPA is the minimum passing marks required. The semester exams are quite good. The level of questions each year is improving, and students are tested on both practical and theoretical aspects.
Other: It's a 5-year course after the 12th. You can complete your complete studies in one go. Some internal politics and the biased nature of the faculty members are disturbing and demoralising. Many events, both cultural and sports events, are conducted throughout the year.

The curriculum is up to date with current trends & grooms the student for the real world.
Placements: The college offers 100% placement assistance. The highest package is usually around 12-14LPA while the average stands at 6.5LPA. The top recruiting companies include Cipla, Novartis, Stryker, IQVIA, Cognizant etc. Where most job roles offered are for Sales & Marketing. While the placements are decent, it is not at par with the same MBA (PharmaTech) course (without the B.Pharma offered at School of Business Management NMIMS Mumbai, which is a bit of a letdown.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best part of this institution. Every lab is well-equipped and well maintained. Same is the case with classroom infrastructure. The library has a good collection of pharma and management books. The major constraint for the college lies with respect to the space, be it with classrooms, which are spacious on the inside but are less in number because the entire school of pharmacy only spans over three floors of one wing of a building. Same is the case with the library. Because the college is located within the Mithibai building, food choices (although vegetarian only) are abundant as the college boasts a total of 4 canteens around its campus. All of these canteen serve good quality food. The not-so-impressive part about the college is their medical facility, which is located at a distance and in the premises of another college (NM College of Commerce). All the colleges present in the Mithibai building (mind you, there are about 12-14 colleges located in this building) have only this one medical facility to their disposal. About sports & games, like earlier mentioned, the college is present within three floors of a building. There is no campus or open space per se to actually conduct sports. Although indoor games like chess, table tennis, FIFA etc. Competitions are constantly happening through the year.
Faculty: All the faculty here are extremely well-qualified with a minimum Ph.D. (usually from top universities in India or abroad). The teaching quality is just as great too. Faculty feedback is religiously taken from the students at the end of every semester too and is strictly reflected upon by the Dean and the course coordinator. The curriculum is very much up to date with current trends in the pharma industry and does groom the student for the real world.
