Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2025
2.8

It is a good college with good intentions. It is a bit strict.
Placements: About 10% of students got selected by good companies but not the top ones. The highest salary package was offered by TCS to a guy in the MR department. Cipla, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, TCS, and Mankind also came for recruitment. The condition of Internships is not good. You will not get a stipend, but the experience will be provided. MR and computer students are preferred.
Infrastructure: You will get all types of instruments required for study purposes. All labs are in good condition. The batch capacity is 25. No one ever tries to enter the hostel because it is nearly impossible to get in. The area is quite expensive for paying guests. The campus has IT rooms and Wi-Fi. The library is pretty good. Classrooms are air-conditioned and well-lit. The cafeteria is not good.
Faculty: Some faculty members who teach theory subjects are not good. One of them has a lot of problems speaking English. No proper notes are given to students. Exams are very strict. The college environment is strict. Teachers are good at explaining practicals.
Other: B Pharmacy was not my first preference, but it was on my mind. It is a course that always offers a career in the medical field, which is a non-competitive environment. It is a course with quite a good connection to business opportunities. The college is very good at conducting fests and sports activities. We don't get a luxury feel, but those are good efforts.

It is not a good college for the B. Pharma course.
Placements: The percentage of placements that you'll get guaranteed is less. Among 100%, only 20% of students will get placed. The highest salary package offered may be around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Only a few students get internships and the others have to do it on their own. There are good companies that visit our college for providing placements but I doubt anyone would get one.
Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi is available. There is a library with books available for free. There are annual sports and a gym is available. The canteen is a bit chaotic but if you can compromise, you can pass by. Labs have all the equipment. But sometimes, you have to borrow stuff from other labs. The instruments are not enough for everyone to begin with.
Faculty: The teachers in our college just care about completing the portion. You're all on your own. Exams are quite hard and are conducted in a way too strict. For every smallest reason, you have to meet the Principal like if you take a leave because of health issues. This part I hate the most.
Other: I didn't score enough so I had no choice but to choose this course. I am in my 1st year and still learning things I did in my 12th which is very weird. I hope they allow better equipment and give reasonable time for everything instead of hurrying up for everything. There are few events conducted in a year.

This is honest review of college. If we include all the factor then the college is good.
Placements: So, the B.Pharma batch contains around 100 students. Around 20 to 30 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the average is around 3 LPA, while the lowest is around 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies that come to our college are Cipla, Dabur, Himalayan, and Sun Pharma. The internship program in college is very good; each student gets an internship in a hospital or industry like Cipla or Tata. Roles like HR, Quality Control, and Marketing Department roles are offered in our college by companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good library, canteen, playground, auditorium facilities, and also Wi-Fi is available. In our classrooms, projectors are available where we see PPTs and study. Hospital facilities are not available in our college, but PGs are available near the college. The canteen environment is good and provides healthy food. Various sports events are also held in our college, where sports like cricket, football, and indoor games like carrom and chess are played.
Faculty: Teaching facilities in our college are not up to the mark. Most of the teachers do not have good teaching ability and do not provide quality education to students, but sometimes some teachers are very good and experienced. This course is very relevant, as in the future there will be a need for more medicine and research. There are two sessional exams and one semester exam held in college, and the difficulty level is moderate. The pass percentage is above 50 percent.
Other: I chose this course because it is a growing industry; in the future, there will be more need for pharmacy. The best thing about this course is that we are well able to learn about medicine and save lives. Pharmacy is a very good course. Improvements needed in the course are that it should be recognized and every college should not just get a license to increase quantity; the quality of education should be increased. Most events are held in our college, like Cultural Day, Traditional Day, Bollywood Day, and Sports Day. The campus environment is very good and healthy in our college.

The college is good and could be made much better.
Placements: The placements are not the best in our college. A few good companies come to HK, but the placement rate still remains low due to a high number of management quota students. This causes a lot of internal strikes too. But that doesn't mean no one gets placement. 30% of students get placed, which means you have to be in the top 30%.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good and air-conditioned, though I have never have seen them. The library has quite a lot of volumes but is not ventilated well. Labs have lots of equipment, but it looks quite old. There is no college Wi-Fi. The canteen is not that good, and it barely has water bottles. There is no vegetarian food. The gym is well-equipped. There is no working water tap anywhere on campus.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and smart. They all are well-qualified to teach us. The first three semesters seem easy, as they just help us build the base for the rest to come. The rest of the semesters are quite challenging.
Other: Events are held on campus. This course covers all my interests. The crowd is diverse.

Overall, the college is good.
Placements: There was a placement cell in the college. Not many companies visited the campus for placements, but some companies like Abbott, TCS, and Quintiles visited the campus to hire the students. The salary package offered to placed students was average. I would say the placement cell could be more efficient if they help at least 50% of the students to get placed in the campus placements. Training is necessary for the students to get placed in campus placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are huge with the air-conditioning facility, and the wooden benches in the classrooms are comfortable. Labs are well-built and are equipped with all the instruments. All the labs are kept clean and hygienic. The quality of the food in the canteen is good, and the canteen is too small. The area should be well-built and expanded. I haven't faced any issues regarding the infrastructure.
Faculty: The course curriculum was well-designed. Teachers in the college were highly qualified. Only virtual methods of teaching, in terms of presentations, are used which is not a tangible method to teach all the chapters to all the students. Teachers can improve their explanation skills in a room. Industry exposure was given to the students who signed up for industrial visit arranged by Indian pharmaceutical council (IPC).
Other: I was awarded the scholarship for my contribution as the scientific head of the college. Events like seminars on science, defence, career development, personality development, etc., are really worth mentioning, and they are organised in this college. Scientific day followed by scientific week is also remarkable. Sports events are also organised in the college. The campus surroundings are very good, clean, and green. However, the outside area is a bit crowded and chaotic, and it is a little unsafe for women in the evening. The campus crowd is good, nothing exceptional.
