The college campus is good as well as the faculty. The placements are very good. The college has contacts with SDMIT Ujire and the placement drive takes place in SDMIT Ujire too, this provides very good exposure to students. The college is affiliated to VTU. There are good chances of SDM becoming a deemed university in few years. The fee is similar to other colleges. Food available in the mess is also good and there is a separate mess for north Indian and south Indian students.

Placement depends on market changes, but if it’s not recession you will surely have a good number of students selected from campus. Many MNC comes for recruitment and the faculty members especially for Electronic and Communication is really good. The college provides exposure to many technical events.

Infrastructure is good and CSE teaching faculty is good. You have the flexibility to choose electives. You can implement your ideas with guidance from the faculty. They encourage you to do some new things. Except ISE Department, all departments are good. One national level event they organize that is “Insignia”, it’s a three day event including both cultural and engineering event.

Good College, Good Placement Records, Perfect location, teachers are good as compared to other private institutions. Information Science Department is the youngest of all, but it's the coolest and happening department. This is a college governed and manage d by SDM society, which itself is a brand name.

The college fest are good. The faculty is well-educated. One can do research over here. Student teacher ratio is really good. Good infrastructure, mess is really good as compared to other college of Karnataka, provides hostel facilities like Wi-Fi, safe drinking water, 24*7 internet, etc. The classes are well equipped with modern technology. All labs are up to date. Separate labs for separate departments. Overall, the college is good.

Very good college. Campus and environment of college is too good for study as well as to learn. Teaching staff are so good at their technical skills. Regularly events are conducted in the college campus. Placement are OK but not good. Over all the college is having well equipped lab and class

Since its establishment 25 years back, it has had its ups and downs but now, it is having the much needed development in all aspects. Placements is one its drawbacks. Certain branches are good and certain are bad. For an average student, I would recommend this college to pursue engineering. Thank you.

Infrastructure is very good. Mechanical department is one of best department among all. It is an autonomous institute. Management is very good in our college. Some faculty members are very good and well qualified but some are not good. Practical exams are conducted properly. Fees is high for outsiders.

It possesses all the qualities of an ideal college. We have excellent course curriculum and faculty members. Our lecturers hold a respectable place in the societies. Our faculties present educational process/ programs in a congenial manner. My college charges nominal fees as compared to other colleges in the city due to which students from all strata of society are able to study here.

It’s a brand where you invest your 4 years of time and get unlimited profits throughout life. It has Good infrastructure and better facilities in comparison to all other colleges. The college advances Good hostel life and people from all over India travel to Dharwad for education. SDM is a brand that provides class education.
