Placements: The placements offered in the college are good for CS, ISE, and ECE branches. The salary package goes around 13-14 LPA. Every year, the companies like Dell, Sony, Nokia, Oracle, HP, and HCL visit the campus to recruit the students, but for the core branches, the placements are not good. Only 5-10% of the students got placed in core companies, and the other people have to join in IT companies.

Placements: There are 100 ways to achieve 1 goal. Many Top IT companies market visited our college. 80% people were placed. The college placement cell is simply supportive. HOD of Information Science and engineering is a very helpful person. Nokia, Walmart, Informatica, Oracle, Dell visited our campus for recruitment.

Placements: For the seniors, it was not good, but for the 2016 batch, a lot of companies had come here, especially for the IT Sector like TCS, PSPL, Oracle, Kpit, Sony, Webonoise, Hashdene, MuSigma, Mindcraft, Robosoft, Manhattan, Mindtree, Tata Technology and many such. I am in TCS in which I got placement from the college.

Placements: I completed the civil engineering at that college. There are no placements for the civil branch. We had an option to attend the interviews for IT company. But the civil placements are a few. You can try IT companies if you wish to change your stream.

Placements: The placements offered in the college are awesome. Every year, the companies like Sony, Dell, Nokia, etc. visit the college and the average package offered is around 4.25 lacs per annum. Also, many students get the packages of more than 10 lacs per annum. The internships scenario in the college is also good however there are fewer placements in the core branches.

Placements: College Campus placements are good, in my department (information science branch). 80% to 85% students get placed every year with an average package of 4.25 LPA to 5.25 LPA. Also, the highest package offered in the campus placements goes up to 13 LPA to 15 LPA. So, overall, the college placements are very good.

Placements: Placements are very good in the college with companies like Goldman Sachs, TCS, KPIT, AEQUS, Mindtree, etc. The students are given special classes on how to face the interview and all the things needed during the placements. The training and placement section is very supportive.

Placements: Before talking about placements in any college, students must maintain at least of 60% of the average grade from 10th to degree. Placements: The placements are well in this college. 89% of the students were placed. The highest and lowest salaries are Rs. 24,00,000 per annum and Rs. 3,00,000 per annum. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc., have appeared in our college to hire the students. About 30% of the students got an internship from our college.

Placements: The placement opportunities are awesome at SDM college. Near 70% of the students will get placed every year. In the case of the civil branch, it's only 5 to 10%. The teaching quality is unspeakable in civil department. All teachers are PhD holders. Some of them are alumni of the same college.

Placements: Placements for my batch were not really great. It could be around 50%. The highest package offered for a mechanical engineering graduate was 5.3 lakhs per annum and the average was around 2.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like FMC Technologies, Aequs and TCS visited our campus for recruitment. Almost all the recruits were offered Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) roles. A few of them got associate engineering roles. Internship offers were very rare or less.

Placements: The average placement package is around 4.5 lacs for CS branch. The highest, however, has gone to 16 lacs in the previous year. Top companies like Bosch, Oracle, Microsoft, TCS, etc. come for placements. The intake for top companies is a handful. But most students are placed with companies like TCS and Cognizant who recruit in bulk.

Placements: The placements are extremely good for IT branches like CSE and ISE. For core branches like ECE and EEE, only a few companies visit for recruitment. For mechanical, civil, and chemical, the placement rate is very low because core companies hardly visit. TCS is the mass recruiter for the college. It recruits from almost all the branches. Placements: Excellent placements. 75% of 2015 batch students got placed A good package is provided to the students. Still, they need to increase the placement percentage. Enough IT companies to come for campus selections. The number of core companies needs to be increased. Good training sessions for placements are provided to students to make students capable to get into the corporate world. Outside, the best faculty members are hired for placement training.

Placements: Our seniors got a very good number of placements in reputed companies and our batch also got a very good number of placements. Our college is listed among the top ten colleges in Karnataka popularity wise. The Bengaluru Times listed SDMCET as the top 9th college in Karnataka whose seats filled up very fast.

Placements: Though I'm from the 2013-17, CSE batch, our placement drive got drastically downwards as compared to last year (due to less interest of IT sector; Europian split) but even then a few reputed companies like Walmart Labs (14 LPA INR), Oracle (7.5 LPA INR), Lam Research (8.5 LPA INR) visited our college. Including these, more than 30 companies for both IT and Non- IT branches visited in our college. Placements: SDMCET is a very good college for engineering and I have studied engineering(ISE) in this college. For our batch, many companies came to hire. The highest package for our batch is 14 lakhs offered by Goldman Sachs. TCS hired more than 200 students in the last year which is a great achievement. All students who had selected in TCS got the joining letter. More than 500 students were placed in various companies from this college. Placements: Placements for the 2015 batch were really good for information science branch, with a whopping percentage of nearly 75 placed in either of the companies with a good domain and a decent salary. The companies which visited include TCS, PSPL, KPIT, Mindtree, Y Media Labs, Oracle, Informatica, HP and much more.
