Absolutely dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: In 2022, 16 students got a placement from which only on student get placed in Honeywell with 6.0 LPA which was the highest package ever got in Depth. In 2023, 19 students got placement from which 4 students got placed in Toyo Engineering Ltd. with 4.14 LPA and 2 students in Epitome with a average package of 2.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies where Chemical Engineers can work are Honeywell, Adani, Thermax Ltd. , Nalco Labs, Navin Fluorine, Sterlite, Pedilite, Larsen & Tubro, Nerolac, Petrofac, etc. But from which only Honeywell and Adani barely comes. In our campus mostly Sai Labs, IPCA, and TOYO Engineering Ltd came for recruitment. Getting an Internship in Chemical And Pharmaceutical companies are not as easy as in IT industries. Most students done their Internship at Sun Pharma, Rashtriya Fertilizers or Thermax Ltd. for the duration of 15-30 days. Students who got placements mainly work in Piping Industry as a Process Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is quite decent. Overall campus is spread in 46 - 47 acres having green and eco-friendly environment. In campus Wi-Fi facility is also available and for hostel too there is Wi-Fi and LAN cables are provided. For boys 2 hostels are there and has a huge playground in the campus but they don't provide any equipments or stuff. In the Main building generally 1st year classrooms are held. Reading Hall and Library is also there but in 10 - 15 days we need to renew the books which we issue.
Faculty: Some of the mentors are really helpful who can guide and intrigue to discuss about how the process taken in industry and the course curriculum are sufficient to make you industry ready. The Semester Exams here are really difficult. The 30 marks of Mid and 50 marks of End Term exams are conducted before which In Semester Evaluation ( ISE - 1 and ISE - 2 of 10 marks ) are taken. For passing, minimum 40 marks have to be secured. Every student must have to maintain at least 75% of attendance according to their rules and regulations.

Good, HOD tries his best for the campus placement. He visits many industries. Hats of to him.
Placements: I think 6 students got placed in our batch. Three of them got the package of 5.5 Lacs and the lowest was for around 2 Lacs. The highest package was for the students placed in Honeywell and the lowest was for some textile company in Mumbai.
Infrastructure: The department was constructed very nicely. Classrooms and Labs were available for the students. Wi-Fi was also available. I didn't live in the hostel, so I am unaware about the facilities provided there. But as per the views of my friends, they used to get good food there, the rooms were cleaned and Wi-Fi was also available there. Girls used to say that sometimes theft use to happen there.
Faculty: Yes, our faculty members were very nice. They were very helpful and I love them. But all fingers are not same. There are some exceptions. I meant to say not all the faculty members were knowledgeable. I don't think so they are helpful in order to provide all the knowledge.
Other: My father asked me to choose this course and I was unaware about all the courses, so chose this. But I felt proud whenever someone aasked me what field you chose in engineering. We need campus placements.

It is a good college but not excellent.
Placements: During 2018 batch, almost 6-7 candidate got placed from campus placements. In this year, Honeywell visited here for recruitment and selected 3 candidates. But overall, the campus scenario for chemical engineering is not that well compared to others as it is an autonomous institute. Recruiting companies includes NFIL and Honeywell. In the year 2018, the highest salary package offered was around 5 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Mostly 2-3 students got an internship in Hyderabad IICT, and in Konkan. Otherwise, students have to give their own choices, or they have to search on their own.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but not in classrooms. It is available on the campus. Classrooms are good, and it is developing more now. There are no individual departmental libraries in college, but there is a central library where you will get your study materials. Hostel facilities are very good. The environment is very friendly, and every person is also friendly. Food is good, and you will get parties and special food on occasions and festivals. So overall the hostel and mess is excellent.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not on a permanent basis. Only HOD and one or two faculty members are permanent faculty members. All are available on a contract basis. Mostly they recruit M.Tech candidate, which is not helpful to students. Except for 1or 2 faculty members, none of them took their duties seriously. Teaching quality is bad, and you have to cover some topics by yourself if you want to study. The course curriculum is relevant. As it is an autonomous college, whatever they teach in a class will come in the exam, so students did not take it seriously. Students are not well-prepared for the industry.
Other: I am interested in unit operations and petroleum, so I have chosen this course. Best things in our course are you can understand how the process occurs. The college should provide theoretical information, including more practical, which will make things interesting. Extracurricular activities are conducted more in our college. The national level fest is also held here, and for this, students do lots of preparation from early 3-4 months. Many events are also held here like dandiya night, etc., which are interesting.

The college having a good infrastructure.
Placements: The Institute environment is much better. But regarding placement in chemical engineering branch it is much less. But branches like instrumentation having very good placements in campus. In chemical field you will not get initial high package hence average package is 2lpa to 2.5lpa and it goes increasing exponentially with your experience.
Infrastructure: The institution having a well developed classrooms, labs and library. The infrastructure of college is fully developed and very clean environment. About hostel it's a very good and you can have proper hygiene over there but about mess not much good. You may say satisfactory. There are lots of sport organised by students and college like zenith for three days.
Faculty: The faculty members are maximum doctorate but when they teach the students not getting it because they are not improving their style of teaching as per new generation. The syllabus of Institute is GATE exam oriented and lot many electives are available of different branches for study.
Other: I choose the chemical engineering coarse because it is something different than other courses as it has lot many career options further. The course can be improved by hiring good teachers in Institute will solve the problem.

Best for research oriented students.
Placements: Almost everyone gets placed but the problem is only for girls, In Chemical Engineering companies usually don't hire girls and hence placement for girls is little less but its there. From our batch 3 girls got placed and almost every guy got placed. In our batch the highest package offered was 2.8 LPA and the lowest was 1.44 LPA. But this differs from year to year, our previous batch had a the highest package of 5.5 LPA. This generally depends on the vacancies and the type of companies that come to hire. Companies like Honeywell, NFIL, Bhilosa Industries, Gujurat Ambuja Exports Limited, Ampacet Specialty Products Pvt. Ltd. , Godavari Drugs, etc. Most companies provide a role of Graduate Engineer Trainee and some companies like Honeywell give a role of MS Engineer. There is no issue regarding an internship. Every student does internship and in Good companies like RCF, Thermax, Vinati Organics, Godavari Drugs, Garware Polymer, IPCA Laboratories, IICT Hyderabad, VNIT Nagpur, etc.
Infrastructure: Our College has one of the best infrastructure, high-speed Wi-Fi is available almost in every corner of campus, There are computer labs everywhere and all the students can use it, the internet speeds are beyond one can use, just to give an idea download speed goes near 50mbps, Modern classrooms with projectors in every classroom, Library with all books available related to course and one can also get other books by just submitting a requirement and within a week they make it available at library. Staff is very helpful and always starving to improve. Medical facilities are free for all students and hostels especially boys hostel is newly constructed and well maintained and there are many girls hostels which are also maintained well. Food served is above average in both messes and they have feasts nearly twice a month and in festival seasons special food is served, all kinds of sports are conducted and an national level sports event is conducted every year named as Zenith.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified but previously there were shortage of faculty due to some government norms which was stopping hiring of new faculty but now many teachers are hired and our Department's HOD is too good, He is always ready to help students and always starves to make department better. He has a big hand in placing students from our department and has so many industrial contacts. Our course syllabus is not bulky like other university colleges which just make it difficult for students to clear the exams. Our course syllabus contains major part which is necessary in the field of chemical engineering and extra knowledge which a Chemical Engineer should have along with english literacy classes and internship semesters. Because of large amounts of internships we get a basic knowledge of how industries work and what kind of work in future we will be doing.
Other: Chemical Engineering is not for everyone, Only if you know what it is and where your work will be in future then only choose it. I've seen many students choosing Chemical Engineering just because they don't get any other branch and choose it thinking its a government autonomous institute, this is the biggest mistake of their life. This mistake can ruin your complete career. College doesn't matter a lot, even if you get a decent college and a branch of your interest then you're gonna rock the future my friend. Think wisely and choose only what you think you can excel in.
