The glorious Shri Ram College of Commerce.
Placements: The average package is 9.8 lacs per annum, while the highest was 35 lacs in 2023. Our top recruiters are DE Shaw, PwC, Meesho, and BCG. Mostly roles like data analyst and technical wings are given to our students. Thus, making the college and its courses efficient and valuable.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is a bit of a problem, but it works pretty well most of the time. The classrooms are great and have built-in air conditioning. The food in the mess hall is superb, and the canteen offers decently priced items. The sports facilities are great, with a beautiful football ground and a built-in sports complex.
Faculty: The teachers were excellent and very knowledgeable. They were also very strict, but always on time. The course has a lot of scope in the consulting and finance industries. The semester exams were tough, but not impossible. Most students averaged between a 7 and 8 CGPA.

Very good crowd and a beautiful sports complex.
Placements: Most of the students who want on-campus placement get placed by the end of their final year. The average package is 8 LPA. Most of the big firms come to the campus for placements, and a lot more small companies and startups also come. Overall, there are very good placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities are not up to the mark. Hostels are not enough for the students; only 20 to 30% of the students can be accommodated by the hostel, and other students have to take PGs and rental apartments outside the college, which are very expensive.
Faculty: The faculty in the college is very good. You will get to meet a lot of experienced professors who have written different books you have been reading in your class 12 and various other courses, but the curriculum is very hectic due to extended classes till 5:00 p.m. in the evening.

AC is good, the campus is small but love it, it needs to be more inclusive.
Placements: Recently, the placement session is ongoing, and we currently have Category A companies coming for placements, with Category B companies expected in December and January. Talking about the placements, I have seen students around me getting selected for interview rounds with companies like McKinsey and Boston Consulting Group. Some students got selected for Deloitte. The highest package, as far as I know, was 35 LPA. The primary role that companies are offering is that of a consultant, so there is a demand for consultancy jobs.
Infrastructure: Regarding the facilities, we have fully ventilated rooms with ACs in them. However, the Wi-Fi facilities need significant improvement; in some sections of the college, there is zero network, which creates a lot of problems. The computer labs are good. The library is also decent, but due to the increased number of students, we face space problems. There are days when the library is fully occupied, and we have no place to sit. One reason for this is that some teachers conduct their classes in the library, which I think is totally wrong; they should not take classes there.
Faculty: As for the faculty, most teachers come to classes just to complete the syllabus. However, there are some teachers who teach at an extraordinary level, but the number of these teachers is limited. The faculty needs improvement. Through the lectures, I am not learning anything practical that will help me in the future; we are just completing the syllabus. There are only a few classes where we learn quality content; otherwise, most classes are of no worth.

    Great college with good people.
Placements: A lot of companies come to the college for placements as well as for internships. The Placement Cell of the college works very hard to invite companies from MBB, BCG, and Deloitte to the campus. As the placement season has just begun a month ago, more than 75 students have already been placed.
Infrastructure: The college has a fabulous infrastructure. All the classrooms, the library, and halls are well-equipped with both Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The sports facility is also good, with a massive field, badminton and basketball courts, etc. Apart from this, the canteen food is also great.
Faculty: There is a mix of good and average professors in the college, where some professors are very kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified, who teach fabulously, but some are redundant to teach. The rest of the overall faculty is good. Although there is a lack in getting the students industry-ready, the extracurricular activities do help.

It has been my dream college since forever and now I am here.
Placements: In 2023, as per records, almost 500 out of 850 students got offers from various companies consisting of offers as high as 37 lacs per annum and as low as 6 lacs per annum. In 2024, there is a predicted decline in offers received due to recession. Zomato, Google and many other top companies hire from this college.
Infrastructure: There is every facility here; the library and classrooms are well maintained and it has one of the biggest libraries in the Delhi University. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and clean. Wi-Fi is not so good here though but the sports facilities are awesome.
Faculty: The faculty is too good here. It consists of people who have written their own books so they are able to tell us about the topics deeply and they are too friendly with us, which is truly helpful. Exams are not so difficult as far as I know till now. Curriculum is helpful.

A glimpse into Shri Ram College of Commerce.
Placements: Placement services in my college are good. The average package is around 10 lpa and the highest went to 35 lpa currently. The total number of offers made was 169 and the number of recruiters was around 40+. Top recruiters are from McKinsey & Co., Boston Consulting Group & Bank of America. The batch size is almost 800-900 but only 10% would bag good placement from college. The same is the case with internships.
Infrastructure: The library is huge and has a good range of books ranging from academia to entertainment novels to historic books. The library has 3 floors inside (containing books) and 2 floors (sitting area). All the classrooms have the facility of projectors. Our college is the only college to have a proper sports complex. It has almost all the equipment, a wooden floor and a good-sized seating area that could hold almost 800-1000 people at a time. The college has various societies in different fields, helping students gain exposure.
Faculty: I chose this course because I'm pursuing chartered accounting, and the curriculum almost aligns with it. The curriculum can't prepare you for the outside world just by its own. The main thing that helps us is the exposure it provides. The society helps us a lot. Curriculum can be improved by bringing it to the current regime; most of the syllabus is outdated. Most of my faculty members are senior professors. They're very friendly and would help not only in academic issues but also in personal and professional issues. As for the junior or temporary professors, they are a bit strict/egoistic in this matter. As for the method of teaching, almost all of them are good.
Other: I chose this course as it aligns with my Chartered Accountancy course. The curriculum is quite old and needs to be revamped. The annual fest of the college is Crossroads, usually held between March and April. We have a business conclave too.
