Shri Ram College Of Commerce University Of Delhi B.Com Admission, Placement, Facilities - Best or No
Placements: In this college is better for admission because it is the best package provided, like 3 Lacs to 8 Lacs salary, which is affordable for this course. There are many companies involved with the college, like TCS, TNS, Khar Techno, etc. In this course, a 2-year agreement is signed to not leave the company.
Infrastructure: This college organizes multiple facilities for every number of students to use facilities, but facilities are few students provided by the college. There are many facilities provided, like fast Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, drinking water, etc. The college canteen food is provided at a very cheap cost, but it is very tasty and helpful to the body.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are very educated and qualified from Delhi University. In this course, teachers' teaching quality is provided very well, and the explanation is also good. In this course, the curriculum is very relevant, and this course is a total of 3 years course duration, and 3 semester exams are conducted by the college.

A glimpse into Shri Ram College of Commerce.
Placements: Placement services in my college are good. The average package is around 10 lpa and the highest went to 35 lpa currently. The total number of offers made was 169 and the number of recruiters was around 40+. Top recruiters are from McKinsey & Co., Boston Consulting Group & Bank of America. The batch size is almost 800-900 but only 10% would bag good placement from college. The same is the case with internships.
Infrastructure: The library is huge and has a good range of books ranging from academia to entertainment novels to historic books. The library has 3 floors inside (containing books) and 2 floors (sitting area). All the classrooms have the facility of projectors. Our college is the only college to have a proper sports complex. It has almost all the equipment, a wooden floor and a good-sized seating area that could hold almost 800-1000 people at a time. The college has various societies in different fields, helping students gain exposure.
Faculty: I chose this course because I'm pursuing chartered accounting, and the curriculum almost aligns with it. The curriculum can't prepare you for the outside world just by its own. The main thing that helps us is the exposure it provides. The society helps us a lot. Curriculum can be improved by bringing it to the current regime; most of the syllabus is outdated. Most of my faculty members are senior professors. They're very friendly and would help not only in academic issues but also in personal and professional issues. As for the junior or temporary professors, they are a bit strict/egoistic in this matter. As for the method of teaching, almost all of them are good.
Other: I chose this course as it aligns with my Chartered Accountancy course. The curriculum is quite old and needs to be revamped. The annual fest of the college is Crossroads, usually held between March and April. We have a business conclave too.

Exceptional academics, vibrant campus life and stellar placements.
Placements: As a second year B.Com (Hons) student at SRCC, I've observed outstanding placement trends in senior batches. Nearly 95% students secure placements, with packages ranging from Rs.7 LPA to Rs.35 LPA and an average of Rs.12-14LPA. Top recruiters like McKinsey, Deloitte, EY, and PwC frequently visit. Around 70% of students secure internships with prestigious firms such as Google and KPMG, often in roles like consultant, financial analyst, and marketing associate.
Infrastructure: SRCC offers state of the art facilities for all students. The campus is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, modern smart classrooms and computer labs tailored for academic needs. The iconic library, with extensive resources and a peaceful study environment, stands out. The hostels provide clean. Spacious rooms and the mess serves nutritious meals with decent variety. The canteen offers affordable, tasty snacks. SRCC boasts top notch sports facilities, including gym and courts for cricket, basketball and tennis. Additional, basic medical services are readily available on campus, ensuring student well being.
Faculty: The faculty at SRCC is highly qualified and knowledgeable, often blending academic expertise with industry insights. Teachers are approachable and helpful, ensuring clarity in concepts. The curriculum is well structured and industry relevant, emphasizing practical learning through case studies and projects. Semester exams are moderate challenging, requiring consistent effort. With ample resources and guidance, the pass percentage is typically above 95%, reflection the colleges academic rigour and student dedication.
Other: As a second year B.Com (Hons) student at SRCC, I chose this course for its blend of academic excellence and career opportunities. The best aspects include a dynamic curriculum, industry exposure, and exceptional placement records. However, incorporating more electives and practical modules could enhance learning. SRCC's vibrant campus life is unmatched, with fests like Crossroads, a diverse and driven crowd, and excellent metro connectivity. The lush surroundings, scholarships for meritorious students and numerous extracurricular activities make it a holistic educational experience.

Placement is awesome, infrastructure is great, crowd is good, and the teachers are excellent.
Placements: The placement of my college is best compared to other Delhi government colleges. Around 80% students get placed in my college. If I talk about courses, there are seven courses, including five full-time degree programs and two online courses: B.Com (Hons.), B.A. (Hons.) Economics, Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operations (PGDGBO), M.Com, M.A. Economics. The duration of these programs ranges from 2 to 3 years. The college provides the highest package around 20-25 Lacs, average package around 10 Lacs, and the lowest package around 5-6 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good. All the college is surrounded by greenery. There are many trees which feel very awesome. The teachers are very good as they are talented, well-qualified, and practical. The library of my college is very big compared to other colleges, and all the classrooms in my college are fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: The faculty of my college is talented, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. They help the students in case of any problem related to studies. And they are practical; they provide knowledge with practical examples so that the students can learn and remember for a long period of time.
Other: The course B.Com (Hons.) is a very knowledgeable course for every finance student. The fees of Delhi University are very low as it is a government college, so the fee for 1 year is around 20k. The fest, events, campus crowd, and connectivity are awesome.

AC is good, the campus is small but love it, it needs to be more inclusive.
Placements: Recently, the placement session is ongoing, and we currently have Category A companies coming for placements, with Category B companies expected in December and January. Talking about the placements, I have seen students around me getting selected for interview rounds with companies like McKinsey and Boston Consulting Group. Some students got selected for Deloitte. The highest package, as far as I know, was 35 LPA. The primary role that companies are offering is that of a consultant, so there is a demand for consultancy jobs.
Infrastructure: Regarding the facilities, we have fully ventilated rooms with ACs in them. However, the Wi-Fi facilities need significant improvement; in some sections of the college, there is zero network, which creates a lot of problems. The computer labs are good. The library is also decent, but due to the increased number of students, we face space problems. There are days when the library is fully occupied, and we have no place to sit. One reason for this is that some teachers conduct their classes in the library, which I think is totally wrong; they should not take classes there.
Faculty: As for the faculty, most teachers come to classes just to complete the syllabus. However, there are some teachers who teach at an extraordinary level, but the number of these teachers is limited. The faculty needs improvement. Through the lectures, I am not learning anything practical that will help me in the future; we are just completing the syllabus. There are only a few classes where we learn quality content; otherwise, most classes are of no worth.
