A place where you meet real and disciplined you.

Placements: In my senior batch, 50% are placed but not in a reputed company. They are placed on Amazon, Airtel, and non-core company. They are many who have got admission in the colleges through GATE and pursuing M.Tech in many of the IIT's in India, and some got government jobs in Lucknow metro service and many more.

Overall, the college is good, but the quality of food in the hostel is bad.

Placements: Every day, 80-90% of the students got placed in multinational companies. Well-classed placement block is available for the placement purpose. The companies like TCS, Wipro, Himachal Pradesh, Genpact, Certination, Accenture, Indian army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, PIC, L&T Infotech, Amazon visited the campus to hire the students.

The college helps to shape your future in a disciplined environment.

Placements: Placements didn't go so well for my batch because the market was low at that time. But having been in contact with my juniors, I got to know that my junior batches got very nice placements from the campus. Only TCS took around 220 students in a single on-campus drive. Apart from TCS, many other companies also visited the campus and hired brilliant students. I can say that the placement cell tries its best to get all the students placed in the final year itself. ...

For placement, the college totally depends on TCS.

Placements: Only TCS visited but there were no companies for the core branches. The placement coordinators have a lack of knowledge and they don't try to contact the big names for the students to get placed in them. I personally tried to give suggestions for which company can be called as they were hiring at that time but no response was received from the other side.

Satisfied because of awesome hostel life.

Placements: In our batch, 25 percent to 30 percent students were placed. Highest salary- 5 lakhs, average salary- 3 lakhs, And lowest salary 1.5lakhs. Mostly company offered the role of software engineer, but some companies offered tester and other roles. 5 to 10 percent students got an internship from the college.

Worst college for non CS/IT branches. Stressful environment. Waste of money.

Placements: 120 seniors placed out of 500 students. The highest salary is around 4.2 lakh pa. The lowest is around 1.8 lakh pa. There are 0 placements for non IT/CS branch students. Placements are good for CS branch but other than that, it's not worth it.

Overall personality development in this engineering institute.

Placements: TCS is visiting campus every year for mass recruitment campus drive. Startups based in NCR region are also showing interest in college students from our college and are visiting for campus drives every year. CS, EC, IT students are getting offers in their hand before getting passed out. The average percentage of students getting placed is 40-50%.

SRMS: A place where you can explore yorself.

Placements: Placement record of SRMS College is always excellent. They provide you many opportunities to get placed. The average package is 5 lacs. The highest package is 8 lacs and the lowest package was 3 lac.

Really good institute in all regards.

Placements: The placements are quite good. Almost all were placed in TCS and a 99% placement rate was achieved. The salary ranged between 3-5 LPA with an average of 3.5 LPA. TCS, Eninov, Genpact and a few other startups visited the campus. The students were placed as an associate software engineer, system analyst, etc. 60% students got the internship from college. The stipend ranged between 3000-10000 per month.

Education with a blend of practical knowledge.

Placements: TCS is the single most company for placement to hire students in a lot of 200 or more at a time and making sure that more than 50% students are placed. In our time 217 students were being placed in TCS, with a package of 3.38 LPA. Apart from TCS, some other small companies like WebCool, RanLab, Genpact, Mphasis also visited the campus with average package offering of 1.8-2.8 LPA.

Overall, the college is not very good.

Placements: Placements of the college are marginal. No industry exposure is being given to us, no great placements. Most of the college placements are dependent on TCS, single most good company and none for electrical, mechanical and electronics. The highest package is 3.16 lacs, that is being offered by TCS itself and the role is that of assistant system engineer. The college administrations are least interested in improving the placements conditions. Internships are not provided by the college. ...

Platform to showcase your talent.

Placements: In my knowledge, in 4 years, only one company came regularly- that is TCS. Apart from it, rest are like BPOs and KPOs. TCS offered a package of 3.16 LPA to all the students and others like Genpact, Webkul and Mphasis merely 1.8 LPA with some variable component. Technical roles like system engineer are offered by TCS and Webkul. In 2014, around 20% of the batch was placed in TCS and 10-15% in BPOs and most went for off-campus. The internship is in the hand of student whether he wants to do or...

Great experience and a place to learn.

Placements: There is only one company, TCS, visiting the campus every year so the placement situation is not very good. In our batch 30% students got places but next year, 70% was the placement percentage so it depends on the company visiting the campus. The average package is around 3.3 LPA every year. The internship is not the responsibility of the college so it totally depends on us if we want to do it or not and from where we want to.

Discipline needs to be there while studying.

Placements: I did my B.tech in Information Technology from SRMSCET Bareilly without getting placed and passed in the year 2015. TCS was the first company to visit On campus recruitment for both seniors and our batch and offered 3.16 CTC. From seniors batch around 40 students were placed and in our batch 80 got placed into TCS, there was no highest and lowest salary offered to any one. After TCS companies visited the campus were Genpact and Webkul, mostly for an assistant system engineer. The college doesn...

Discipline that you need. Friends for life.

Placements: Talking truly about the placements, only one company i.e. TCS comes and recruits in bulk. In our batch, out of 480, only 80 were selected and were offered 3.16 LPA. After TCS, rest of the companies were mostly BPOs and some were small startups. We have to find internships on our own and the college does not help in that.

SRMS unexpectedly changed my life

Placements: We were prepared for the campus interviews, but not for the companies which recruit in bulk. Our college students judge which company they should choose. We SRMSians loved TCS and its values that is why we preferred to choose it. Other than TCS, many other companies came to recruit us.

Best college in the region for CSE and IT branch, but bad for rest.

Placements: Placements in our college are below average and it depends on your branch of specialisation. Students from CSE and IT are almost all placed in good companies like TCS, Webkul and Ranlabs from on-campus drives and some are also placed in IBM and HP from off-campus drives. When it comes to those of the other branches, very few of them make it through. The salary offered is 3-4 lakhs per annum and can be as low as 2 lakhs for some companies. SRMSCET. A good choice for a college.

Placements: Placement drives were good with the salaries being at par with the trend prevalent in those years. For all the three years (2013, 2014, 2015), the placements were preceded with placement drives and mock interview sessions to ensure maximum selection. TCS, Syntel and Birlasoft were some of the recruiters which visited the college.

Satisfactory institute with really good placements for 2016 batch.

Placements: The institute offers 100% placements. The salary ranges between 3-6 LPA. The students are placed in reputed companies like IBM, TCS, Amazon and several other startups. They are placed as Software Engineer, Associate System Engineer etc. Various internship opportunities were also offered by the college with stipend ranging between 2,000-8,000 per month.

Worth going for computer science and IT but not for others

Placements: The placements in our college are below average and it depends very much on your branch. Students from computer science and IT branches are mostly placed in good companies like TCS, Ranlabs, Webkul from on-campus drives. But the college shouldn't think about only a selected group of students. For placements, the college was only dependent on TCS but this year, even TCS was not there for placements. So, the college relied on small startups which promised a package of 5 lakhs. But later, they were...
