A good college if you want a progressive and peaceful environment to study and develop yourself.
Placements: Actually, I am not in the B.Com or BBA department, so I am not sure about the placements, but there are internships, and placements are held, but the average package is not known to me. But as per what I have heard from my seniors, the placements are good, as the college lies in a corporate sense area that has Tata Steel and Emami nearby, so internships are not a big deal.
Infrastructure: Honestly speaking, the infrastructure of the college is not that eye-catching, but it has decent ground, the computer labs, library, and practical lab. The canteen is all equipped decently and well cleaned with centralized AC all around the college. But after spending 4-5 years, you will eventually get bored of seeing it regularly. Also, the canteen is very small as per my expectations.
Faculty: I don't know about the teachers of all depth. But speaking about the botany department, they are all very helpful and understanding (if you are regular to college); they will try to teach you with utmost devotion. The curriculum is divided among 2 teachers, which makes it easier for both students and teachers to teach properly. Attendance is a kickback but not a necessity.
Other: The college is an 8.5 according to the fee structure and the area of its campus. According to my course, i.e., B.Sc. Botany (H), it is a decent college that frequently arranges seminars, lectures, competitions, and activities for the overall development of yourself. If you try to get in touch with the senior, whom I will highly regard, it will help you in everything. The seniors are very good and supportive. Especially the sports department, which is very progressive, and they help you teach you the sports even if you are a noob. The crowd is mixed and contains all kinds of people.

I am dissatisfied with our campus and overall have no other complaints.
Placements: I am currently in my 2nd year pursuing B.Com (Hons) in this college. I have limited information about the placements opportunities but as informed by our teachers, companies like Deloitte and top MNCs recruit students from our college during their final year.
Infrastructure: Our college is one of the top colleges in Kolkata under Calcutta University. Infrastructure is excellent with air conditioners in all classrooms, one of the biggest libraries, Wi-Fi, and IT labs. Quality of food is average. There are sports and many other societies for interested students as per their choice.
Faculty: Teachers and other staff members are extremely friendly and make us understand the topic very clearly. Course curriculum is relevant as it provides practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. Internal exams are moderate for students who study and pass percentage is higher than usual. University exams are little tough.
Other: I chose this course particularly because of my interest in finance and accounts. Practical subjects are tough but equally fun. There is a lot of pressure to study the minor subjects and extra vernacular, otherwise it's pretty good. Events and fests take place once in a while. Campus life is non-existent for morning batches and one can take part in extracurricular activities as per their preference.

Amazing Faculty, good infrastructure and facilities, bad placement opportunity.
Placements: My placement experience for B.Com (Hons) in Finance and accountancy was not good. 75-80% of students didn't even know that companies had come for placements. Top companies like Deloitte and PwC visited, but most of us had no idea. So If you're planning for admission then do keep a track on placements update as the teachers themselves or the official groups do not provide this information.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel. We used to live pgs nearby. Talking about infrastructure, that was quite good. Classrooms did have AC facility. Labs and library was also good. Canteen foods were good in taste. One thing I was disappoint was that there was no big ground and all. But yes there is one basketball court which was quite amazing.
Faculty: In my opinion, the faculty was excellent. They were very well-educated and taught effective. The way exams were conducted was also very good and strict, ensuring a fair assessment. In terms of academics, the college was quite strong. They provided comprehensive notes and held classes every day. Additional the curriculum was well structured and the faculty was always approachable.

It is an excellent college for higher education and academic life.
Placements: placements cell of Shri Shikshayatan College is really wonderful. Almost 40% of the students in our batch are placed in reputed companies like SVF, Infopro Learning, KPMG, HDFC, etc. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top roles offered are content writing, copywriting, sales and marketing, banking associate, and editor.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is top-notch. There's free Wi-Fi, and classrooms are spacious and fully air-conditioned. Library is resourceful, and one can procure almost every book needed. There is no hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. They help with doubts whenever needed. Course curriculum is relevant and helps students learn the basic skills needed for the job industry. Semesters are moderate. The question paper is set by Calcutta University, but suggested topics given by professors help a lot. First-class percentage is 30%, and pass percentage is around 95%.
Other: I have always wanted to pursue my Masters in English, and this college has excellent rankings. Everything is good. Events are fun, campus life is vibrant and green, and they focus on extracurricular activities to foster a sense of community.

If you want to experience college life, this college is a great choice for admission.
Placements: Percentage of students placed from our course is 70%-80%. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA-10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Flipkart, Private banks, TCS, etc. Approximately 70%-80% of students are guaranteed internships. Top roles offered are business manager, accountant, sales manager, and so on.
Infrastructure: Our campus and hostel provide all necessary facilities, making everyone feel like home. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Library is available for students. All types of medical facilities are provided. All types of games and extracurricular activities are available. Overall, infrastructure and facilities provided in hostel are good.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and kind. They treat every student as their own child. The knowledge of the teachers is beyond level. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, it not only enhances student's knowledge but also builds their ability in every field. The difficulty level of semester exams is average, with every type of question whether long, short, easy, or hard being asked in exam. Pass percentage is approximately 90%-95%.
Other: I chose this college because I'm interested in accountancy and also there are many career opportunities after B.Com. There is nothing that needs improvement, as everything in the B.Com course is up to the mark. This college organizes every type of event, including career planning and medical planning inside the college, which help students connect with themselves and others frequently.

Dissatisfied about my college life.
Placements: In our department, till date we didn't receive any placement offers. Top roles offered are - college faculty, school teacher. I'm not aware if they offer placement offers or provide internships. In our department we weren't informed of anything like this.
Infrastructure: We are not provided with any hostel facilities. But they do have more than 2 ACs in each classroom. I don't know if we have Wi-Fi, our labs are great. The computer lab contains apple products which is a very great initiative. Students don't face any kind of difficulties learning.
Faculty: The pass percentage in our university is 30%. It is very hard to get good results. Even scoring 50 percent is like very difficult. The maximum percentage one can get in 80 percent. The college professors are nice. But that doesn't help us score good percentage.
Other: I chose this course as I love reading story books, essay, novels, poems etc. The one thing that bother me here in this college is that very often classes are cancelled or scheduled without any prior notice. Often times we find out that or classes are cancelled just before reaching the classroom or after reaching the classroom. Not many events or fests are held. The college is very study oriented. They Don't focus on extra curriculum activities that much.
