Placements: Placement for our batch was quite good & most of students got an opportunity to enter into corporate world. The highest package was 2.5 Lacs and the lowest package was 1.4 Lacs. Companies like TATA, ICICI Bank etc. Visited our campus. There was a placement cell. The study over there is best. We get best out of it.
Placements: Most of the companies visited during the time of placement. Most students get themselves registered for it but lesser no. Are selected due to their own fault. Most of them lacked in communication skills and some got nervous due to which they failed. Inspite some who got selected get a better package and a better designation.
Placements: The placement scenario in the college is average. No reputed company has visited the college, only some small insurance companies visited to offer placements with an average package of 1.5 lakhs to a maximum of 2 lakhs per annum. Hence, most of the students preferred central placements in Delhi University.
Placements: The placement cell was not so good. They offered night shifts which could not be possible for girls so it was not so useful for us. We had to find job after the college by ourselves and nobody wants to do it by themselves. So before joining this college or another just check about their placement history.
Placements: I've heard about the placement in my college it ranges from 3-4 Lacs per annum few of my senior got placed at good companies like American express, icici prudential, HDFC, Barclays etc. The portfolios a economics student GET are mostly analytical and research. If anyone wants to grab a higher package then Masters in economics is advisable.
Placements: There no placement for B.A. students but available for the Commerce students. When I was is first year then few of my senior from B.Com and some of Economics (Houners) got the job they were in final year that time And got around 25000 to 30000 salary pakege.
Placements: The placements in college are okay, but as a student, I was not satisfied with the placement cell. Moreover, other students were also not satisfied, but if you just want a job after an undergraduate course, then it is good for you. So it is up to you what you want from your college.
Placements: Placements made by this college is excellent if you really work hard and study in college. Its a challenge to study and get a job and not to study and go for elections. Generally students over in this college are of 2 types who studies and get job and the second one are who play elections. Placements are excellent. Don't worry for that.
Placements: The college has tie-ups with more than 100 companies to provide opportunities to thousands of students every year. 76% of the students in our batch are successfully placed in the recent placement programme, and about 72% of the students were placed in the previous year. The salary offered by different companies varies from Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 32,000 per month. Future Group, Pantaloons, Reebok, Reliance, etc., are some of the top companies that visited the college to offer placements. The...
Placements: About placements, there is not any active cell here to provide any type of placement assistance and interview. Only one option you have is CPC, i.e. central placement cell and they conducted by the University of Delhi for all colleges. You can go there and get a chance to give interviews. And finally, I was selected in Genpact by CPC, so I am thankful.
Placements: The college provides placement opportunities on its own and also with the help of central placement cell in one of the biggest MNCs for commerce scope, and they also provide internship in different companies. The teachers also help students in preparing for an interview so that they could face the life confidently.
Placements: The placement in my college is not that good for the previous batches, and I think that the reason behind that no good companies came to hire the students. Most of the companies came to our college in the previous sessions of placement to get a student for sales only, and some companies give a chance to grow as they only prefer economics Hons students. But it is in my year of getting placed and this year, the college, as well as students, gave their 100% to get good companies for the students. I...
Placements: I have heard that in 2013, the placement cell was there and gave the package of 8 lacs yearly when I am fresher on my first day of college. My seniors tell me about that, but I have not heard any responses, and we want the internship. The teachers and senior won't provide any information regarding the internship.
Placements: As I talk about the placement, the placements of senior students are not very good because not every student gets placed. Only a few students got their placements, and the rest of the students is facing disappointment to get the job. Those students who got a job were offered good salary package approximately Rs 15,000 -20,000 per month. Those who got above 80percent marks were got the job, and they are offered a job in BPO sectors, handicrafts sectors, etc. those who got 60-70 percent marks they...
Placements: In my whole college life, no placement has happened. We have listened from the earlier batch that a few years ago, the placement was done. There is no placement cell in the college. But the college is trying to attract the companies for the placement. The college is developing its study facilities to create the companies for the placement.
Placements: The placements were okay. The job satisfaction which our seniors got were worth to their work. An average salary of 2-5 lacs per annum is offered to the students. Proper interviews were there on the campus. The students were offered posts like accountants and financial advisory which gives a booming start to their career.
Placements: The placements have not been very good at Shyam Lal, but the students and teachers are giving their hundred percent to improve in placements. Even the placements have improved as compared to previous years. Placement cell is working quite hard to improve the placement percentage.
Placements: Our college provides many types of company placements and gives better opportunities to succeed in our career. In my college, the organisations that visit for the placements are ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Kotak Bank, American Express, HDB Fincancial Services and other corporate companies.
Placements: There were no such placements for the students pursuing BA. Although they have been working on that aspect lately, one might see positive results. They conduct counselling and seminars. Both internship and placements need to be improved.
Placements: The placements in the college were good. I don't know the specific details as none of my close friends sat in the placements rounds, but there was usual traffic of highly acclaimed companies, and several students (15-30) were placed in good positions. The stipends offered were around Rs. 20,000 as per my best knowledge.
