Shyam Lal College has good infrastructure and best faculty.

Placements: Shyam Lal college is one of the best colleges in the University of Delhi. It has an excellent option for placements for its different courses. But for English honours, it offers placement in startups and NGOs. Mostly content writing, administration and business development job options are available in the college.

Shaym Lal College shapes your future.

Placements: The best college for placements compared to other colleges all over India. Shyam Lal College has the best placement department that helps students to get placed while studying. SLC helped me to get placed in RBS Bank. So, I find it to be more effective. It has a good working environment.

The college is under reconstruction, and it is becoming better every year.

Placements: The placement cell is actively working on inviting more and more companies for the sake of better campus selections, mainly in the science and economics sections. Arts section students do not get placed at all, but you never know; we may get placed well.

Faculty and infrastructure are good here.

Placements: Placement opportunities are not good enough here. Only 2 to 3 companies from different sectors visited our college amid our course, but no one gets placed in any of those companies. Even the salary packages are not much appreciable. This college currently lags behind in term of placements. Only 2-3 companies visited the college this year, and this is the first time they visited in my 3 years of life here. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. There is a placement cell,...

It is a good choice to take admission.

Placements: Placements of this college were not much good as a limited number of companies visit our college for placements. The average salary offered would be around Rs. 15,000 per month. Mostly sales job profiles are offered. Most of the students don't depend on the college for placements, so they don't opt for them.

Overall, the college is good.

Placements: At the end of the final year, students get placed according to their grade, internship and experience during all these years. Job prospects are good according to bachelor courses. But I prefer further studies over placements.

It is a good college for pursuing B.Sc but not for getting placements.

Placements: There are no placements in Shyam Lal College for B.Sc students. Our seniors did not get any offers from MNCs. Although, they are all preparing for civil services. Also, it is not possible to get a good job after B.Sc, which is not a technical course. Some students from B.Com (honours) got placed with salary packages of 2 LPA.

Satisfied with the college, and I enjoyed a lot. Placements in our college were good.

Placements: I got placed in ICICI Bank, and it is a very renowned bank. I got placed in the profile of insurance in which we deal with customers. It helped me a lot in improving my patience level and communication skills. I deal with many people, and it helped me a lot.

Shyam Lal College is the best.

Placements: No company offers placements for the students who just have a B.A degree. Still, the students of our college have got offers from companies like Bank of Scotland. Students are offered with plenty of international exposure, and many of our students have been placed in reputed companies in India and around the world.

Good college but not an excellent one.

Placements: Many companies like Genpact, Amazon and Reserve Bank of Scotland visited the campus for placements. Around 60% of students who were interested got placements from the college and were offered a salary upto Rs. 20,000 per month according to the companies. So placements in the college are as usual.

Our college has very good faculty members and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were very good. Many seniors were working in many good companies. Many companies visit the college for placements. Students interact with teachers for placements. Many companies Mankind, Ranbaxy, etc., visited the college for placements.

Good infrastructure, but no auditorium. Faculty were good and cooperative.

Placements: Placements in the college were good. Few companies came for placements, but the big companies did not come. Only two companies came and the packages they offered were not that good. Royal Bank of Scotland was one of the company, and they were offering Rs. 18,000 per month. Few of my friends got placements.

I don't like the college because of its crowd.

Placements: Placements for the passed out batches were not good. I guess 24% to 25% of the students were placed. Many companies visited the campus. The faculty are good, supportive and teach us well. I guess the maximum package offered was 6 lakhs per annum after B.Com. Overall, the college is good and recommendable.

Review of Shyam Lal College.

Placements: Our college conducts placement programmes, but I didn't participate. Some of my friends participated and got selected for a multinational organisation. Some of the students are working there, and they share their experience with us.

Life in University of Delhi.

Placements: College has got its own placement cell. Accounting, Marketing, Financing based companies visited north campus in which students through college placement cells got interviewed and many of them got offer letters. Decent salary was offered to each and very student.

It was an amazing experience altogether.

Placements: Placement cell in our college works pretty nicely. But I'd still suggest if it had more of literature based internships or placements to offer. There are amazing placements and opportunities for commercial and entrepreneurs indeed, which is appreciable for sure.

Dissatisfied because of fight issues.

Placements: Seriously I never applied for it. But I heard about it from senior that salary package was not above the expectation. And they select very less student. It means 30% student get internship from the college. Yes there is a placement cell which works for new projects.

Zindaabaad shyam lal.

Placements: I don't know any one from my class who got placed. I think some of my seniors got some jobs from college I don't know about their salary. Almost every friend of mine changed the college for the further studies. One of my classmates are still connected to college and doing jobs related to drama and all.

Shyam kal college (Name does not convey that its a bad college).

Placements: Delhi university graduation colleges do not provide placements. I do not know about the other colleges but my college had no placement facility. Shyam lal in itself is a good brand after all it's under Delhi university. The companies would definitely consider the college in your resume.

I'm satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: In our batch, 2-3 students got placements. I know only 5-6 seniors, and they all got placed in the college placements. Our batch students didn't apply for the placements because they wanted to do better in the fields like MBA, law, UPSC, etc. I don't know the exact salary, but the highest salary offered was about Rs. 50,000 per month, the lowest was Rs. 20,000 per month and the average salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month.
