Dissatisfied with infrastructure and placements.

Faculty: All the teachers are qualified from state government colleges in Odisha, which is not so popular. Some of the teachers have very good knowledge about the course they teach, while others do not have any knowledge. Some teachers simply come and read the PPT and go. The teachers are not very helpful. The course curriculum is not relevant; it does not make the student industry ready. Students have to learn coding by themselves to become industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult. Stud...

Review of Silicon University - B.Tech college with good ROI.

Faculty: The academics are very strict in Silicon University. The faculty is punctual to the class, and the classes are conducted regularly. It is moderately difficult to pass the semester exams as the students are supposed to make notes and study, and the college does not allow any malpractices to pass the exams.

The PDEU SOT Review by SOT Student.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching should cover both theory and practicals. It should be interesting. Different teaching methodologies like lectures, case studies, project work, etc., should be provided. Assessments at regular intervals are held to understand the progress. The curriculum should be in sync with the current industry requirements and the latest technological advancements. Outdated courses would not help students perform well in today's job scenarios. Students must acquire rel...

Pretty decent college because of the placements and research opportunities.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. All have done Ph.D. All have experience above 10 years. The course curriculum is a little bit relevant. There are 2-3 internships that make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so hard. You can say M.Ed. is difficult. The pass percentage is 6 CGPA.

Silicon University is beyond teaching.

Faculty: Teachers possess in-depth subject knowledge and provide consultation during college hours for doubts. The curriculum is a bit industry-relevant, with opportunities to learn essential skills. Semester exams are tough, requiring 40 out of 100 marks to pass, with no minimum for midterms or teacher assessments.

Silicon University Review.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good; mostly, they are supportive. If you are having a doubt, then you can directly go to the faculty member’s chamber and clear your doubts. Most of the faculty members are good. The course curriculum includes all the domain-specific aspects and different core subjects and even includes many soft skill subjects. Labs provide exposure to other important domains like trading or yoga, which can add value to your personal and financial life. To become industry-ready, you ha...

Silicon, Beyond Everything.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and approachable, offering consultations for doubts. The curriculum is somewhat industry-relevant, with ample chances to learn industry skills. Exams are tough; 40 marks are needed to pass the exam in any subject, combining mid-term (of 25 marks), teacher assessment (15 marks), and end-semester (60 marks) scores.

University which is more like a school than a college.

Faculty: Teachers possess in-depth knowledge of their subjects and are approachable, offering consultation during college hours. The course curriculum aligns with industry requirements to some extent, while the college provides ample opportunities to acquire additional industry-relevant skills. The semester exams are challenging; students need to understand the basics to meet the passing criteria. Grading consists of midterm exams (25 marks), teacher assessments (15 marks), and end-semester exams (60 ma...

Our college is very environment friendly and I do love my college .

Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable and possess in-depth expertise in their respective subjects. They offer consultancy hours during college timings for students to clarify doubts. The course curriculum is moderately aligned with industry requirements, but the college provides ample opportunities for skill enhancement. Decent choice for students and ROI is good.

Faculty: Faculty is also decent; it depends; some are really good and have good subject knowledge, whereas some do lack . Most of the faculties are PHD holders but the problem with a few subjects is that the faculties are not updated with the new subjects like AI, meaning they are not experts in that subject so somewhere there is a lack of quality teaching . But at the same time, many faculties are present who are subject experts and seniors also do projects under some .

Navigating Silicon university: What You Should Know Before Enrolling

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are really helpful. Our college academics are quite strict. All teachers are PhD holders, and some are still pursuing further studies. The curriculum is relevant; while it may not fully prepare students for the industry, it helps in many ways. The semester exams are very tough, and the exam system is strict. The pass percentage is around 90 to 95%, though some students still have back papers.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty. Placements are kind of good in here.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified, making most subjects (around 90%) understandable in class, so we rarely need YouTube for exam help. It’s easy to clear exams and score well if you study properly, with a pass percentage of around 80-85%.
