Dissatisfied with the placements, and there is no scope for curricular activities.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch was bad. We are expecting some improvement in our batch, but it doesn't seem like we will be getting placement. The college is not getting more companies, they only focus on the studies but not on the placement. Earlier it was good, but in the last year, the scenario is too bad. It seems like taking engineering is total a waste thing. We won't be placed even with good CGPA's.

The college is up to the mark in all aspects.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark, and many students are unemployed. If more companies come to our college, then our students can be employed. One of the major problems is, they offer a very low salary package which is very difficult for a person to live with that salary.

Silicon does beyond teaching.

Placements: Silicon Institute of Technology, BBSR is one of Odisha's best colleges in all perspectives. It has got tremendous educational facilities along with the high opportunity for placements in IT giants like Infosys, Wipro and many more. Placements are always above 90%.

A very good place for making our future.

Placements: There is a good placement record. Several companies visit here for recruiting students and also recruit them. Last year, some companies like Infosys and Wipro came and recruited about 60 percent of the students. Our college has a very good placement cell also which manages the placement record, and also guides the students on how to appear in the interview, and all the important and necessary information is given here which is useful for the students to appear in the placement.

On the whole, this is a good college, and I would refer this as one of the best college under BPUT.

Placements: Here the placement scenario is good as compared to other colleges that come under BPUT. The college organises and conducts classes prior to one year of the placement process starts in the college. The classes are called the pre-placement talks which is very beneficial towards developing skills of students.

The college is mainly known for its educational background and placements.

Placements: Our college is known for its placements, and many good companies visit our college and recruit the maximum number of students. We all are satisfied with this and companies like Wipro, Mindtree, and Cognizant are the mutual partners with our college.

The college has good faculty members and great placements.

Placements: The placements on the campus were good. Even this year, when the market condition is not good, it has managed to place around 50-60% students. When the market conditions are good like in 2015, the placements were 100%. The scope of an internship is also good as it is located in the IT hub of eastern India.

Silicon Institute of Technology is a very good college to study.

Placements: A few years ago, placement statics of this college was very good. Almost eighty percent students were placed. But nowadays, placement statics of this college is decreasing to fifty to sixty percent. In this college, Infosys and Wipro are the main recruiters. These both companies are the day one companies of our college.

College review about Odisha's one best college.

Placements: It gives us a variety of placements including MNC as Infosys, to wipro, and ADP and mindtree. Even other start up companies visit it's branch at Bhubaneswar as GGK TECH, conversion bug and others. Though not in its own campus it provides the placements but in its branch at Bhubaneswar we get all the facilities including a number of companies and proper campus life.

Good academics and faculty, but very limited future scope, .

Placements: Placements of the college is good but very few core companies visit the campus. The average salary offered was 2.5-3 Lacs. Mostly the IT company visits the campus like infosys, wipro, capgemini, ADP, TCS, mind fire. For internship student need to apply there own effort with very less guidance provided by college in this regard.

Silicon is beyond the studies. At every corner of our college, you will find many talented ones.

Placements: If I talk about our placements, then it is good. If I were asked to rate out of 10, then I would give 8. Good multinational companies(MNC) already tied up with our colleges such as Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and many core companies also recruit such as SoCtronics and Sankalp Semiconductors, and many more.

Disappointed with college for various reasons.

Placements: The placements are not good this year. This year, only 150 students got placed in a total of around 450 students. Last year, it was around 180. The college doesn't encourage internships, and god knows why. The placement cell is one of the miserable things in college. The effectiveness of college is very bad, and not able to fetch the opportunities of new colleges.

A review on Silicon Institute of Technology.

Placements: It has very good placement. Almost every student got placed. Last year, the placement was awesome. This year also, every college got very fewer companies, but silicon students got placed. Many big companies of India come here for placements. Almost every student will be getting placed.

The college is only for academic purpose.

Placements: I didn't get placed, and along with me many of my friends also didn't get placed. The placements of this college are very bad. Only a few companies visit here. It is a very strict college regarding attendance and academic, but when it comes to placement, it is worse than many other colleges.

The review about the college beyond teaching.

Placements: The placements were below par. Only about 50% of the students grabbed a job, that too at substandard packages. The average salary offered was around 3.5 lakhs per annum. Major takers are Infosys and Wipro. Other companies that visit our college are Mindtree, Tech Mahindra, and Conversion Bug. There is a placement cell in the college, which is also the industry interface of the college. Internship depends on the student. Pre-placement talks are arranged for 3rd and 4th-year students.

Placements: The placement sessions of my batch will be held in July this month and the placement sessions of my senior batch was average about 300 students were placed out of 500. Infosys and Wipro are the main recruiters. A minimum of 6.5 CGPA is required to sit in placements and you have to have less than 6 backlog. In Odisha the placements of Silicon is the best till date. Wi-Fi must be available. Apart from that, this is one of the best colleges.

Placements: A total of approximately 500 students are studying in the college, from which approximately 300 students have been placed till now. This year many companies like Infosys, Wipro, ADP, Aptus Data Labs, Kays Harbor etc. have visited for the recruitment process. An average salary of Rs.3 lacs per annum and the highest salary of Rs. 4 lacs per annum was offered to the students. 2014 had record-breaking placements here.

Fully satisfied because of teachers, library and placements.

Placements: The placements offered at our college are good. Almost 70% of the students are placed, and the average salary offered is 3.5 lacs per annum. There are no internships offered by the college. Though the college doesn't provide an internship, you can apply on your own. There is a project work given in the final year, and the teachers help students in completing the project. There is a project review every week.

Overall, a good college for both placements and higher study planning.

Placements: The placements of our batch and our senior batch were quite good after looking at the present IT market. More than 50% of the students of our batch are placed and yet, more companies to come. The placement of our senior batch was even better. The companies those visit us are Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree, Cognizant, Acesocloud, GGK, ADP, etc. Our placement cell focuses on training the students from the starting of the 3rd year itself.

Silicon Institute of Technology, a choice that will take you and your career to new heights.

Placements: The placements are provided by Silicon, which is quite above average, but it does fail to conquer the big league companies like Amazon, Microsoft and others but has a great placement record of 90% in companies like Infosys, TCS, Mindtree, Capgemini etc. The college also provided placement in its ventures like Silicon Tech labs and other partnerships.
