Review of Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur.

Placements: Placements are good in our college. Top IT-based companies like TCS, Wipro Accenture, Amazon, and Mindtree come to our college for campus placements. The placements in our college are also facilitated by the main campus located in Bhubaneswar which is a plus point. About 80% of students are placed each year. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA on-campus. The average salary package offered is 5.8 LPA.

Silicon west is a good engineering college for engineering aspirants.

Placements: Placements are good. College somewhere lags behind giving proper planning for students to see the real life competition and provide a platform to know more about the placement drives. Many recruiting companies like infosys, wipro, etc. Comes every year for offering jobs.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus life but the campus placement may had went more proper.

Placements: 50% students were placed and rest other students got placed from off campus placement. Some other students went for higher studies like GATE and MBA. Although my branch was civil so we were not allowed to sit in most of the companies as there were more IT companies who came for placement.

The review of Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur.

Placements: The placement percentage is around 60%. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Soctronics visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package was Rs. 6,00,000 per annum, and it was offered to the students of Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, and it is also above distinction college. Here, the discipline of students is very good.

This college is moderate, but good.

Placements: Placements in this college are comparatively better. Though it faces a crisis due to the recession, but there are placements as being a reputed college it adds value. The facilities provided for placement training is moderate, but most of the bright students grab a job.

Facilities are good. Placements and studies are also good and worthy.

Placements: The placement was good. About 400-500 students placed in various multinational companies. About 85% and more students got placed every year. Companies like Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Mindtree, ADP and much more visit our college.

I will rate it good for the teaching purpose.

Placements: Here in Silicon, the placement is good but not the best. Look if you are capable of getting the job, then you will be selected in the campus. So about 70% or more of the seniors batch got the job but in only the IT companies. No core companies recruit the students means no core sector companies come to the campus. Talking about the salary, the companies offer around 25-35K per month. The companies like Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra visit the campus.

Overall, the college is good for getting good placements and grades.

Placements: The placements are good, and our placements have not been in progress. Our senior batches had good placements in good companies like Wipro, Mahindra, etc., students got packages like 6 LPA to 10 LPA per annum, so overall placements are above average, and good.

Great Placements during our time that is in 2016. Wipro hired 294 students in on campus on day one.

Placements: Placement is better for IT sector jobs than core jobs here. Actually it has one more branches in Bhubaneswar which has much better infrastructure and faculty members compared to Sambalpur branch. Companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Techmahindra, Capgemini, TCS (off-campus) generally come to this college. So I would suggest to go for CS/IT branch for getting easy jobs in IT field.

Silicon, a bittersweet experience.

Placements: Average placements. Not enough companies come for recruitment. Most are unemployed. Major takers are Infosys and Wipro, other companies that come are Capgemini, Mindtree, etc. Students try for higher studies and prepare for GATE and CAT. Pre placement classes are conducted though.

Dissatisfied with the placements, and there is no scope for curricular activities.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch was bad. We are expecting some improvement in our batch, but it doesn't seem like we will be getting placement. The college is not getting more companies, they only focus on the studies but not on the placement. Earlier it was good, but in the last year, the scenario is too bad. It seems like taking engineering is total a waste thing. We won't be placed even with good CGPA's.

The college is up to the mark in all aspects.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark, and many students are unemployed. If more companies come to our college, then our students can be employed. One of the major problems is, they offer a very low salary package which is very difficult for a person to live with that salary.

Good academics and faculty, but very limited future scope, .

Placements: Placements of the college is good but very few core companies visit the campus. The average salary offered was 2.5-3 Lacs. Mostly the IT company visits the campus like infosys, wipro, capgemini, ADP, TCS, mind fire. For internship student need to apply there own effort with very less guidance provided by college in this regard.

The college is only for academic purpose.

Placements: I didn't get placed, and along with me many of my friends also didn't get placed. The placements of this college are very bad. Only a few companies visit here. It is a very strict college regarding attendance and academic, but when it comes to placement, it is worse than many other colleges.

Placements: The placement sessions of my batch will be held in July this month and the placement sessions of my senior batch was average about 300 students were placed out of 500. Wi-Fi must be available. Apart from that, this is one of the best colleges.

Placements: A total of approximately 500 students are studying in the college, from which approximately 300 students have been placed till now. This year many companies like Infosys, Wipro, ADP, Aptus Data Labs, Kays Harbor etc. have visited for the recruitment process. An average salary of Rs.3 lacs per annum and the highest salary of Rs. 4 lacs per annum was offered to the students. 2014 had record-breaking placements here.

Silicon Institute of Technology, a choice that will take you and your career to new heights.

Placements: The placements are provided by Silicon, which is quite above average, but it does fail to conquer the big league companies like Amazon, Microsoft and others but has a great placement record of 90% in companies like Infosys, TCS, Mindtree, Capgemini etc. The college also provided placement in its ventures like Silicon Tech labs and other partnerships.

Satisfying because the teaching is good.

Placements: Good placements are provided to the non-core branches, but the placements in the core branch is still a concern. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., come to the campus. Pre-placement training is given to the students of 3rd & 4th year.
