While SIT offers good placement among the companies which recruit B.Tech IT learners, it does not ensure the application of 100% placement. As per to the information available on the website, B.Tech IT placement percentage is nearly 90-95%. Top recruiters include:

It must also be noted that though the college has a placement cell where training is also given there is no guarantee that students will get placed immediately after their courses and the opportunities depend on student’s performance, market trends, etc. Still, SIT has a good track record in terms of placements and most of the students get proximately placed in good organizations.

Admission to BTech course is based on WBJEE/ JEE Main score followed by a WBJEE Counselling. Aspirants first need to apply for BTech on the official website. Candidates who have qualified WBJEE/ JEE Main can provide their score for the selection process. Candidates who have completed Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) are eligible to apply for the BTech course. The total tuition fee of BTech is INR 4.80 lakh.
