Placements: Many companies visit the campus for placements, but most of them are IT firms. However, all the companies don't visit to hire the total strength of your branch. I was a mechanical student, and around 20 core companies visited the campus for our department, and the strength of our department is around 400 students. However, each company hired only 5-10 students. You should be the best in your batch to get placed in those core companies. Else, you can start working with IT companies as they hire t...
Placements: Placements in college are average. Most students are placed in IT and companies like Accenture, Infosys, and Cognizant are regular recruiters. Core companies like John Deere, Bosch, also visit the campus regularly. Roles of GET are mostly offered. The average salary package would be around 4-5 LPA.
Placements: Our college offers more placement opportunities for IT and computer science departments, and they offer a few placement opportunities for core branches like mechanical and civil departments. Many companies visit the campus, and they hire students in great numbers. The college also conducts internship projects for the students of the civil branch, which will help them to improve their practical knowledge.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Around 60% of the batch got placed. The highest package offered was 12 Lacs per annum. More than 30 companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, etc., visited the campus. Roles like associate software engineer, associate consultant were offered.
Placements: The college has good placements. The same campus is shared by three more colleges, so the placements are combined for all these colleges. Be aware of the college before taking admission.
Placements: The placement scenario in our batch was fair. The type of companies visiting here for the mechanical branch was good except the lesser number of core companies. The average salary package offered was around 4-4.5 LPA. The placement cell was fair enough in regards to placements. Internships were rarely offered through our college. The college focuses more on this part and includes it in the course curriculum.
Placements: Did not apply for placements. My plan was to continue with further studies. Some of my friends got placed in some civil engineering firms. I don't think that the college had a role with that. They got the jobs by applying outside the college. No civil engineering firm came on campus for placements.
Placements: A very efficient placement cell is present for the students' benefit, placement training and technical skill development lectures are provided to the students participating in the placement drives, and these seem to be working as more than 90% students get placed every year. Placement cell doesn't help with any internships.
Placements: I had graduated in 2017 from civil engineering. The college offers a bachelor's degree in the fields of mechanical, civil, IT, CS, and E&TC. Overall, placements are average here with most of the companies from the IT sector visiting the campus. Most of the placements are provided to IT, CS and E&TC branches, while there were no core companies specifically for the civil branch. The average salary package offered was around 3-5 LPA. Various mass recruiters like Infosys, Accenture, TCS and Byju's v...
Placements: The placements for our batch was good. Also for our senior batch. The average package was 3.5. Oracle, Accenture, Tata, Infosys, mindtree, Mahindra, Nvidia, Amdocs, Byju visited our campus. Nvidia offered the highest package, according to me. The kind of roles were development and testing. Internship was not compulsory in our curriculum. So not many people opted for the internship.
Placements: Many IT companies visit the campus to recruit students from our college, and the core companies are very few. There is no hope of placements for all students. Some may get placed, and others may have to go for IT or sales and marketing jobs.
Placements: Placements of our batch are good. The average salary package offered is between 3-4 LPA. Companies like MuSigma offered placements, but they hired only a few students. A few of my friends received a salary package of 21 LPA for 3 years. According to our college, almost 1,200 students are selected until January 2019, and the placement drives are still going on here. Students from E&TC, IT and other branches got placed in various firms. Placements in 2018 were disappointing as there was a conflict...
Placements: The college offered very good placements, and seniors were placed in very good companies with quite good salary packages. But, some of the companies didn't visit for campus placements last year, and many students didn't get placed in their dream companies. But, the students got good salary packages.
Placements: Placements in the college were not good. For the 2017 batch, only two to three companies visited for core civil engineering profiles, and the rest were IT companies. The average package offered was about 3 LPA. Computer and IT students had better opportunities in terms of placements as they had good companies and decent packages. In the case of internships, many students successfully got internships in their respective fields. The placement cell needs to be much more effective and efficient.
Placements: The average salary package offered this year was 4.5 LPA. Around 1223 students got placed this year in different IT companies. The college has achieved a record of placing a huge number of students among the colleges in Maharashtra. A huge number of students got placed this year. Nearly 500 students were placed in Infosys, and the rest were placed in some other companies.
Placements: Placements of Sinhgad College of Engineering were not good in the year 2016. The job market was cold in that year, and only 3 out of 300 students were placed in core companies. Nearly 60% of the students were placed in IT companies. Majority of the batch did not get placed.
Placements: The college is very good for placements. Accenture company recruited almost 30 students from our batch as trainee engineers. Many more companies like Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, etc. visit for campus recruitment. It is one of the best colleges for computer engineering. The highest package offered was about 6 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 2.20-3.20 LPA. Some companies offered internships cum training to students.
Placements: Last year (2017), placements in the college were quite good. As there is some chaos in the college, we can't predict the future. The college authorities are trying hard to regain the standard as it was. Many programs/extra-curricular courses are introduced by the college, that help us in developing our soft skills; this makes a person confident and increases the percentage of students to qualify for an interview.
Placements: Placement numbers are quite good. All of the major mass recruiters like Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture and product based companies like NVIDIA, OFSS, Amazon and service based firms like Persistent systems, Xoriant, HSBC, Capegemini and more than 50 companies visit for campus recruitment every year.
Placements: Placements in the college were not very good. Around 60% of the students got placed in the campus placements. The highest salary package offered was 6.6 LPA, the lowest offered was 1.0 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Placements of our senior batch were very good when compared with our batch. The companies which visit our college were not trustworthy.
