A college worth attending!

Placements: Placements were quite good in this college. Approximately, 95% of students get placed, if they meet the criteria. The highest salary offered is about 12 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys visit the campus. They will provide the roles of a software engineer or trainee in their company,

A well planned infrastructure with decent faculty members and placements.

Placements: Placements were really very good and in the year 2014-15, Accenture hired a record students from our institutes i.e. Sinhgad institutes. We are getting off campus intimation also from our college. From very high profile MNC companies to small scale firms, all were being invited to hire the students and to get best out of them. All the students get equal opportunities and even if you get backlog with high percentage, you can apply for special request and with your previous marks, they allow you t...

Good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Placement of all Sinhgad college is good as they provide a centralised campus placement, doesn't matter in which Sinhgad college you study. There are Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture which are mass recruiters and it's easy to get placed in these companies. Almost around 70-80 companies come to the college every year. Placement wise it is nice to study in Sinhgad.

Good placements, average infra and faculty.

Placements: Placement is good. If you get 60 percent or above as aggregate in CS, IT, the chances of placement is very high. Average package is 3.5 lacs and highest is 6 lacs. For other branches, it is little difficult to be placed in your respective field or you will be placed in IT sector companies.

A well-balanced college for engineering.

Placements: The placements are good for the computer department but the average packages offered are in the range of 3.5 to 5.2 lacs. The highest package offered this year was by The EQ Technologies selecting 2 students at the cost of 6.3 lacs per anum. The mass recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Accenture etc. There are a few product-based companies like Microsoft, Nvidia, Cisco etc also visiting the campus for the recruitment. The highest package ever offered was 3 years ago by Microsoft with a whopping pay...

Sinhgad Institute is the place to enhance our knowledge in every field.

Placements: Placements in Sinhgad institute are outstanding. Almost 79-80% of the students are placed in several companies and rest of them either go for higher studies or research project. Training and placement department is fully functional and proactive.

Satisfied with the placements, faculty considering the score I got in the engineering entrance exams

Placements: The NBN Sinhgad School of Engineering is one of the Sinhgad Institutes in Pune, which was started around in 2011-12. The placements for the Sinhgad institutes take place centrally, (i.e the CPC Central Placement Cell) due to which all the colleges under the Sinhgad Institutes fall under the same placement process. Many of the core companies and product based companies do come to hire in Sinhgad Institutes but the number they hire is not much. Whereas, the mass recruiters for the IT companies hir...

This college is best if you have average marks.

Placements: The placement offered for our branch are much less than mechanical. Mechanical branch has more placements. Minimum criteria for placement is 55-60%. Average salary offered is around 2.5 lakhs. Various companies like Cognizant, Accenture, Atlas, Copco, Cummins, Tata Motors, Amdocs, etc. comes for placement. According to company’s requirement, they offers various position to the students. College doesn’t provide internship but helps to get it through Internshala.

Good infrastructure and average faculty.

Placements: Placements are not that good for chemical engineering field but surely it is great for civil, electronics and computer engineering. The placement unit is not that good as one would want it to be but you will get a job for sure.

The best campus and lavish infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are quite good as compared to the other private colleges in Pune. It is the best for the IT and computer branches but for the mechanical branch, you will have to struggle for getting placed in the core companies. The average salary offered by all the companies is around 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Below average campus and education.

Placements: The placements are central in SIT(Sinhgad Institute of technology) as told by the officials, but in reality, the students of SCOE or Sinhgad main Pune campus are preferred over any other campus. Most of the students get placed at the end of the 4th year and those who are not placed are the ones who do not know anything about computers and have passed on luck through exams. The average packages offered are 2-3 lakhs per annum.

Review of Smt Kashibai Navale College of Engineering Pune

Placements: I have just passed out from this college. The placements are very good for the computer, IT and E&TC students, and there are 50-60% placements for the mechanical students as well. Renowned companies come here for the recruitments. Accenture has recruited 900 students last year while Infosys and Cognizant have recruited 300 students. All these students have got the offer letters. The training and placement officer of this college is very good and co-operative. The average salary offered is 3 LPA...

Faculty is the only thing that drives you here.

Placements: As it is a fairly new college, don't expect a lot in placements if you are an average student. As all the Sinhgad Institutes in Pune have a centralised placement system, if you have an aggregate first class and some good projects, you will surely be placed. One of my friend of mechanical got placed (after a six-month internship). He got a package of 3.6 lakhs per annum.

Good engineering life for enjoyment, but you may lack in knowledge.

Placements: Talking about placements, I am from mechanical background. So, the companies which come for placements in Sinhgad College are mostly IT based and these companies also recruit for mechanical students and percentage of placement fluctuates. You can call it more than 60%. Now, about core mechanical, companies comes but they recruits in less quantity i.e. only 3-4 students. Also, these companies are local based companies. Apart from this, some good companies also come such as Saint Gobain, Diamler, ...

A nice college for engineering and to enjoy the college life.

Placements: There are high placements for the IT sector and good placements for mechanical and civil as well. Overall, the placement is good. You can get placement for your choice as many companies approach for the campus placement. Every year, many students are getting placed, and getting good job profiles and packages in many companies.

The college is not the best of all but is much more than average.

Placements: There is approximately 100% placement for the CS and IT branches. ETC branch also has good placement record as last year their placement was around 80%. But, the mechanical students have to struggle a little. You can easily get placement in IT company but for placement in the core companies, it is a hard nut to crack. There is also negligible placement for the civil branch.

The college offers decent placements and extracurricular activities along with proper ethics followed which help the students to get used to the work ethics eventually. The fees is less as compared to other engineering colleges in Pune except for the government college Pune. This college has got all the things that a student could ask for in a college - good staff, good infrastructure, good crowd an...

It is really nice to be a part of this college as it has good infrastructure and placements. We also get the best faculty to learn who also are very supportive and motivating to the students. There is a free Wi-Fi facility in this college, a swimming pool and a number of food items and outlets are available here.
