My Journey Of Engineering.

Placements: The scenario of our college placement is not at all good, we are in last year and no core company is came yet. Only IT companies are come in this semester, in that only few students are placed. Our college told us core company come in second semester but we see past year no many core companies are come. From IT company there was the highest package will gone 6.5 lac which was given by Accenture.

I have spent the best part of my life.

Placements: The college had an average placement rate, i.e., ranged between 60-70%. Maximum placements are offered at Sinhgad, Vadgaon. The highest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA approximately, and it was offered by TIA. The average salary package offered was around 3-4 LPA. The lowest salary package is offered for BPO jobs, i.e., around Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Infosys, Zensar, Persistent. Jobs are more offered to CS and IT students, and the roles are of testing and so...

It is a great college with a great atmosphere.

Placements: Around 60-65% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA by a company called amazon web services for software development. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.44 LPA which was offered by emphasis and amazon for BPO jobs. Some prominent companies like Infosys, Accenture hired around 600 students from Sinhgad Institute of Technology, TIA, amazon web services showed up. The top roles offered to comp...

I am satisfied with placements, college life, and also with the campus.

Placements: None of the students got an internship from college. The college has a central placement cell, which provides only final placements. The highest salary package offered for our senior batch was 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, etc., visited our campus for placements.

Faculty members are not that good but you will live best four years of your life in SIT, Lonavla.

Placements: The placements are average like any other good colleges in Maharashtra. Every year around 65% of the batch gets placed. Most of the students get jobs in IT firms. The average salary is around 3.5 - 4 LPA. The placements in core branches are really very bad. I was in mechanical still I got placed in IT firm. The college has the location advantage. It is in Lonavla which is not far from the cities like Mumbai and Pune. Many small and mid IT companies from these two cities visit campus for placemen...

The infrastructure is good.

Placements: If you have a good academic score, then you will surely get a job from college. Around 60% of the students were placed last year. The placement drives are still going on now, and a lot of students got placed this year. I suggest you do well in academics to get placed.

Review of SIT - Sinhgad Institute of Technology.

Placements: This year, the placements were good as in the previous year. The highest placements are achieved by the computer science department as many students have got placed. Placements for the mechanical branch were good as in the previous year. Companies also visited the college for the mechanical branch this year, whereas, in the previous years, most of the companies visited for IT and CSE departments.

The campus has the best infrastructure, and it is overwhelming.

Placements: The placement scenario in our college is not good. None of the core mechanical companies visits the campus for placements. Even if a core company visits the campus, it recruits only a few students. Placements are not conducted for Lonavla campus students separately, there are centralised placements. So, you need to visit Vadgaon campus every time to attend the campus placements.

The college life is not really awesome.

Placements: Overall, the placements for our senior batch were good, but the salary packages offered were a little lower than expected. The university has achieved a 98% placements record in the recent placement season. But, call letters are not provided to the candidates yet. The salary packages offered were sparse.

If you want to learn about survival, then you should go there.

Placements: The placement rate was very high during our tenure. Our placement officer was very supportive. More than half of the students were placed in various companies. Roles of software development, testing, and marketing were offered to students. The average salary package offered was around 3.50 LPA.

Sinhgad Institute gives you complete exposure.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty decent. Around 75% of the students have been placed till now (1st semester). The average package offered is 3.5 LPA. Good MNCs have visited the college. The placement cell is good as it informs us about all the on-campus and off-campus drives. Many students got placed in companies located in Pune.

Dissatisfied do to the strike of teachers, good placements for it and comp, good infrastructure.

Placements: No jobs for core branches like electrical and mechanical all are IT companies which are help full for it and comp. Department has to do nothing with the placement they are not supportive. Yd jadhav sir is the one key for which the sinhgad placements are going on even if strike was there he did his job. A special thanks for him.

The campus is the best, but the quality of education is not good.

Placements: The placements depend on students. The students who maintain an academic score of 60% in all semesters without any backlog in the 7th semester will get placed. The students who can't be able to clear the backlogs will not get placed. The placements depend on the scores and performance of the students.

In short, the college is good and very well.

Placements: Sinhgad is famous for its placements, which is actually true. More companies come to the college, and the placement starts from the 3rd year. Around 60% of the students got placed in the campus placements. You can do internships in companies from 4th-year through the college.

Happy with the college faculty members, facilities, placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements at our college are quite good. More opportunities are been offered in IT companies rather than core, but the placement cell is working rigorously to bring companies to college. Seniors had very good placements, and lastly, it depends on your aggregate too. The minimum package offered is 1.50 LPA, and the maximum goes up to 21 lacs per annum.

Dissatisfied by the way 4th year students are treated.

Placements: The placements are good in our college. Companies like Accenture, Easy farm, Emphasis, My sigma and many more visit our campus. 50% of students were placed last year. Yes there is a placement cell and it is really helpful to us as it helps us to get avail all kind of packages. The internship is not provided in our college, we do it by yourself somewhere outside wherever we are interested or it feels convenient.

Satisfied beacuse of faculty, and placements and really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Good placements in IT sector and Telecom sector. Core branches may have to struggle. But still have various opportunities. Average Package of last session was 2.8 Lacs. Which is not that bad. More than 140 companies come for placing students whicb includes top recruiters such as Mercedes, Tata, vipro, LNT, Accenture, and many more. And placements in IT sector is very high. A student got the highest package of about 13lakhs which is a great thing.

Good faculty members, average infrastructure, but placements are not much good for mechanical.

Placements: The placements in our college are not much good for mechanical students, but many mechanical companies like Tata, Mahindra, and L&T visit the college every year. The students get an average package of 3 to 4 lacs per annum. Very few students get placed through campus placements, not many, because of lack of technical knowledge. This is not only our problem, on the other hand, but I would also like to say our education system is weird, we get only theoretical knowledge, not practical knowledge. T...
