Placements: Not everyone gets placed, but every year the college provides sufficient placements. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Other departments other than civil engineering department are relatively better in terms of placements. CSE department has nearly 100% of placements.
Placements: Placements had gone down considerably when I was passing out from the college. Previous placement records used to be really good, and renowned companies used to visit the campus, but I don't think that's the case anymore. In 2016, major mass recruiters haven't visited our campus, and the college could not place all of its students.
Placements: I got placed in Capgemini India. This institute is well-known for providing placements and courses. Every year, around 25 companies visit the college to conduct placements. Most of the companies that visit the campus are IT companies. Being an electronics student, I got placed in IT company. Still, I would recommend the college to focus more on inviting many companies in accordance with the crowd present in the college. Overall, placements are good. Placements completely depend on the students.
Placements: For the core branches like Electrical, Mechanical & Civil opportunities are very less only few IT companies ask for the students from these branches. In CSE & IT placement is average it totally depends on the academic performance of the student. Try to maintain atleast a CGPA of 7 till 6th semester to be eligible to take part on the placement drives.
Placements: There were very less placement opportunities provided. Mostly banks came there for placements. Internships were to searched on our own. There is an active placement cell in the college but proper placement opportunities are open for the MBA students with the highest package of about 10 Lacs p. a and the lowest package of about 4 Lacs p. a.
Placements: Placement was not up to the mark. All the students were not placed and many deserving students could not get placed. There were many companies that did not turn up for the placement and due to this many students lost their chance. Although the students are very talented and got placed from off campus drives. The training and placement section should really work hard for the same and make efforts for getting the students the right choices for their career.
Placements: Placement for civil engineers in college is not that good. You will have to do major project from college only and companies visited to campus for civil placements are None so far for this term. And for past years institute has managed to provide 50-60% placements with an average salary of 4.3 Lacs p. a whereas placements for other departments are quiet good.
Placements: Placement of Sikkim Manipal is very good from the past and continued in our year also. Due to slow pace in IT industry and election environment it was not up to that mark were everyone get placed but those who have good grade and were serious about it get placed. I too got placed from college to Ericsson and now days placement is also good. Overall I can assure that this college is best if you want to get placed after completing B.Tech. The most important thing I want to highlight is that you ma...
Placements: Placements are good in CSE and ECE, but not good in other branches like mechanical, civil, and in EEE, placements are very poor as only a few persons get placement in this branch. So, Jaipur Manipal is good for mechanical branch person, but the main problem for less placement in these branches is because many companies like Tata and Mahindra does not come due to its location because this college is located mainly in north-east, that's may be the reason.
Placements: The placements here are gradually increasing. Recently, the highest paid placement was of 22 or 24 Lacs per annum. The placement percentage which college shows is 95+ percentage, but this is what college doesn't tell the people who don't know about the college is that percentage is only of the computer science branch. Good companies come here like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, TCS, etc.
Placements: There were just two placements for the civil department. One was the E-Construct, and the other was iGenesis. For our seniors, the placements were not good. No salaries offered by E-construct, whereas the other company provided Rs. 3,000 for the selected interns. There is a placement cell of our college, and it is effective when it comes to the other departments. For the civil department, the placement cells are inefficient.
Placements: The highest package is around 12 -13 LPA whereas average packages are 4-5 LPA. Some of the prominent recruiters aware Amazon, Intel, Wells Fargo. I think placement depends on students calibre because last year (2017) one of the SMITians got placed in Microsoft in an off-campus drive.
Placements: Placements have not yet started to my batch. Placements for senior batch was average. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3.4 LPA. Dell, Ixia, TCS, Wells Fargo, Think and Learn are some of the companies that visit the college for placement.
Placements: The placement for the mechanical branch is by far the worst. The college advertises recruiters which do not visit our campus. Most of the students from our senior batch are unplaced. Even companies from IT sector does not allow mechanical students to sit on campus drive. Any student planning to study mechanical engineering should stay away.
Placements: The placements are pretty decent at my college. There's 100 % placement every year. The highest package was offered by Microsoft of 22 lac per annum (LPA), and the lowest was around 3 LPA. The ompanies like Intel, Amazon, Dell, Microsoft, Ixia and much more came for placements. Our T&P cell is working very hard to bring more and more companies for placements and helping the students also train during the pre-placement training.
Placements: I don't know much about the placement opportunities as I am a fresher. But I have heard that the placement opportunities are good. The big companies like Amazon, Wipro, etc. visit our campus. The highest salary package offered in the whole university is 1 crore per annum. They provided placement for almost 1000 students from the whole university.
Placements: The college placement cell is active in all terms. The overall placement percentage of students is overwhelming and considering earlier years, and it is definitely on the increasing side. CSE placements are to be looked forward to. Other branches though have an overwhelming response but computer science and engineering is the best course for the college, and that's quite transparent to people considering the student strength of the branch. Elite companies make through like Dell, Sony, Bosch, Mic...
Placements: In my batch, 80% of the eligible candidates were placed. Far better than the nearby B.Tech colleges. IT giants like TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Wipro are permanent mass recruiters. Also, many of the other small-scale companies like Sony, IXIA, etc. also participated.
Placements: Placements are not that good this year. Last year, they offered 96% and 94% during the last to last year. The highest package from here is around 14 lakhs per annum and the average is 7 lakhs per annum I think. Mass recruiters are Infosys, Amazon, etc. Talking about fees: Almost Rs. 2,85,000 per year They also charge for the mess and hostel which is around Rs. 81,000 per year. Overall, it is a pretty nice college. Don't be fooled by its images on Google. The fee is pretty much more than I exp...
Placements: The placements of our senior batch were pretty good and almost certain for people who got a minimum of 7.5 CGPA. People got placed in Dell, Bosch, TCS, Sony Ericsson, etc. Overall, the placements were good with decent packages offered by the company.
