Placements: The placements of SMIT is fantastic. Most renowned companies like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, etc. come to pick up the talented candidates. Nearly 80% of the students got placed in 2015. But if one wants to sit for the placements then about 60% overall is needed with no backlogs. Placements: The placements were good and most of the students got placed easily. Companies like Dell came to our college, and the roles of Software Engineer, Associate Software Developer and Embedded Engineer were offered. The highest package that was offered was 8 lakhs by Dell, the lowest package was 3.5 lakhs and the average package was up to 4.5 lakhs.

Placements: The placement for the senior batch was good and about 70% were placed. The highest was 16 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 3 lakhs per annum. The companies such as Bosh, Wipro, TCS, Think-Care, Goibibo, Eveready etc visited last year. But to get placed easily, you should do the embedded system training.

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology is a big name under the brand name of Manipal. Also it's one of the best colleges in north - east. The beautiful lush green surrounding with a direct view of waterfall adds to the beauty of the artistically designed infrastructure. It has a good campus life with all facilities. Labs and workshops with all latest technologies, equipment and experienced faculty members. Good and well maintained academic blocks and good hostel facilities. Food is much better than any other college campus. Holidays is also not a problem. Placements: In my batch of 2020, a commendable percentage of 85% in the B.Tech. Computer Science and Technology course secured placements. The highest package reached an impressive 98.5 LPA, while the average stood at 94.5 LPA. Renowned companies like Infosys, Amazon, and TCS were among the top recruiters. Placements: Every student in our college got placed. Some got placed on campus and some got placed off campus. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA and the minimum salary package was 4.80 LPA. Infosys was the top recruiting company for our batch. Internships were provided at BHEL, SAIL, and other places. Assistant engineer role was offered.

Placements: 90%+ of students get placed in  BBA course. Top recruiters are Cipla, Alkem, Vanguard, and many more. Top roles are assistant managers, HR recurring coordinators, and many more. The interview process is their first selection, and they should have good academic performance.

Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed every year. The placement procedure and process are very easy and student-friendly. I have no idea about the salaries yet, but I'm aware of the fact that good packages are offered to each student.

Placements: More than 90% of the students did their internships through an online mode, which is Coursera. Courses provided here are very knowledgeable and helpful in future. Placements have not been fixed yet due to this pandemic. Finance is the top role in our course.

Placements: About 96% of the students got placed in the last 3 years. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA from Microsoft. This college is for students who want to study without any disturbance. In our course, the average salary package offered is 3.50 LPA for the last few years.

Placements: Placement scenario in the civil engineering department of SMIT is a little different than in other departments. Many construction works are going on in the state of Sikkim be it the case of the hydropower plant, railway project, the airport at Pakyong, so civil engineers are required in a great deal. SMIT is the most reputed college of the state, and it enjoys recruitment in these sectors. Campus placements are provided in Daikin, TCS, Infosys, etc.

Placements: A few dream companies like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Bosch, etc., visit our college for recruitment and provide a salary package of around 16 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Think and Learn, etc., also visit our college and recruit students in a huge number. They provide a salary package ranging from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. It depends on your ability to get placed.

Placements: Placements in the CSE branch are better than any other department. The highest salary package offered is about 11 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Overall, the placements are good here. T&P cell put efforts to provide every student with proper training. Dell, Microsoft and Shell are among the top recruiting companies for our college.

Placements: The 2020 EEE department batch had a record placement of 98% among those candidates who were interested in placements. Dell, IBM, Amazon, Bosch are a few companies that recruit from the long list of companies. Students who were interested in internship received it from the private or public sector.
