It is a better college in terms of academic aspects and also financially acceptable structure.

Placements: Around 98% of students can crack interviews and their academic excellence and soft skills are helping them to crack the interview algorithms. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. TCS, CTS, Wipro, and Capgemini are the top recruiting companies. Almost 60% of students get internships in TCS and CTS. The roles offered are coding, core mechanical concepts, and electronics basics.

It has a very good infrastructure, but they lack in providing well-knowledgeable professors.

Placements: Placements in our college are not up to the mark. Some IT companies visit here to recruit only computer science students. Some normal companies also visited here came and selected students, but they are not providing any offer letter. About 10% of the students might get placed in our college from computer science and IT departments. Other department students struggle a lot during placements, and there is a lack of core companies.

College review Sona College Of Technology Salem.

Placements: There are placement opportunities, but 100% placements are not assured. Would be having many off-campus drives rather than on campus. Nearby KIOT college has many drives, where we would be notified to attend those companies. There would be internship where you would be made into placement list.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placements in 2016 and 2017.

Placements: After 2015, placement is little dull. Many students from seniors batch were not selected during the campus placements. Later on, in my batch also, many students didn't get placed. They are still searching for the job. Five to six companies hire for software role; remaining companies are BPOs. The highest salary offered was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary was 1.2 LPA. The average salary offered was 2.8 LPA. The companies visited our campus were Zoho, Information View, Tech Mahindra, and so on. The...

College was good before 2014 , but now it has lost its power and trust in many things.

Placements: When considering placements, my college was excellent until my senior batch. They tried out a strategy of getting more students placed in a single company and almost 70% students would get placements in one company. But when it comes to my batch, they could not bring a single company until the last semester starting. And in that last semester, some companies came and the placement percentage was very low. Even though some got placed in startups, they have been not called since. And for my junior...

There is freedom for students in college. But there is little politics in lab grades. The college is good if you can learn on yourself. Few staffs are so good but they have equivalently bad staffs too. Placements: They will say 115% placement, 100 % placement but, everything is a lie. May be 50% of students got placed.

The best thing I like in my college is the stone bench near the main block where time passes soon and mostly in breaks boys will be gathering there. The infrastructure of our college is really good in a small area and no one will dislike the infrastructure. The major plus is it’s situated between bus stand and railway junction making easy for our travels. And since it’s located in city we can roam around for time pass with lots of eateries and theatres around. In placements there were goo...

Review of SCT - Sona College of Technology.

Placements: Placements here aren't really good, but one can expect the highest salary package of 3 LPA. That's the best, but you get placed in top companies over India. The college has its ups and downs. Being an engineering student in India, you couldn't expect to be drowning placements. It gets tough, and you should be unique; this is mostly the case in all engineering colleges.
