Review of Southern Academy of Maritime Studies.

Infrastructure: Facilities were not good and facilities were so pathetic. Everything over here was fake. They needed some money. Our hostel facilities were not so good. They said that there would be air-conditioning and washing machines but there were none. Medical facilities were not available. They wouldn't allow for medical issues. The food served was not good and the mess was not cleaned up even in the hostel.

Review of Southern Academy of Maritime Studies.

Infrastructure: The dorms and buildings are below average. You have to clean your own cabins sharing with 7 other students, i.e., 8 people share a room. Some cabins accommodate 4 people, but they are ill-ventilated. Chennai becomes pretty hot during summers, but the air-conditioners don't work properly. Only South Indian food is available, so North Indian students better avoid this place. There are no facilities like Wi-Fi, simulators etc.

It is a very good college to learn many things for the future.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available for students. There were good surroundings of nature, practical classes, yoga, exercise, gym, and playground. The hostel facilities were good, and there was a great canteen. For a medical facility, a doctor visited the campus every Tuesday and Friday. The food served was hygienic, and all sports equipment were available. There was a huge ground to play.

I am satisfied to study here, and I am working.

Infrastructure: Our college has a great environment, and the fees are also basic. They also provide coaching, trips and industrial visits. Labs are equipped with all equipment, and the environment will be suited for students. It is the best college. Buses are also available here to near the city. The hostel is Wi-Fi enabled. Food served is good, and they serve vegetarian, non-vegetarian, tea and snacks. They also provide television and sports time for students. We can roam around inside the campus, and there ar...

An honest review on Southern Academy of Maritime Studies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is neither good nor bad. There is no maintenance. If you want to live in a clean place, you have to clean the place by yourself. No facilities will be given by this college. This is good for seafarers life as you have to do every work by yourself. So, before joining this college, just be habituated of doing your work by yourself.

The worse place to stay no security, irresponsible staffs, management is on paper only.

Infrastructure: The college has an uneven playground of nursery school size, and the dormitory ceiling keeps falling. There is a big problem with water and electricity every time, and also no any emergency facility available in the college. If you are thinking about a hostel with good facilities, then don't try to go there because you may suffer from a shortage of water and electricity others you can imagine yourself.

Good for GP, other than that, don't take admission here.

Infrastructure: The campus is too small. There is only one building for college and hostel. Both buildings are joined. There are very crowded hostel rooms. There are broken bathroom and toilet. No A/C in the room and class. In summer, it is very hot inside. No proper canteen area. Dogs and cats roam around the canteen during lunch.

Fully satisfied with the faculty. Other than the faculty, everything is below average.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is good, and the architecture of the college is awesome. The hostel rooms here are good enough to stay, and the classrooms are awesome here with a fully furnished and fully equipped labs with all the equipment. There are also fields to play cricket, football, volleyball and basketball. The food in the canteen is like, if you are a South Indian, then you may like it, but if you are a North Indian then definitely you won't like it. I am a South Indian and I doesn't like it ...

Food and studies is not good in this college.

Infrastructure: There is only one building for all the marine course. Here, the hostel is also small. For all the classes, there are 40 students. There are 12 to 16 boys in a room for the diploma in the nautical science batch. Also, the classrooms here doesn't have a working A.C and fans. In summer, it will be very hot.

Marine academy gave me an opportunity to learn the qualities to become a professional in seafaring. I had great fun during my training time as well as got brilliant faculty at the same time to get thorough knowledge of the field. All my instructors were very keen in providing the knowledge and also the infrastructure was well built and maintained.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college, classrooms, and library was good and neat. Many facilities were available near our college. Our college had a canteen, a cricket ground, a football ground, and a volleyball ground.

Faculty members are good. Hostel and mess food is the worst, but studies are very good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, but there is no Wi-Fi. There are different types of food items changing every week, but the quality of food is very bad. Sports are offered here, but they are not providing the necessary essentials.
