Quality education while making the most of the campus life

Placements: Being a government-funded college, the placements in this college are very good. It is one of the top 10 engineering colleges in Kerala. Most of the students get placed in reputed companies. The main recruiters are IT companies. The college provides nearly 100 percent placements. Some of the companies visiting our college are TCS, Mahindra, GM, Accenture and much more.

Review of SCTCE Papanamcodu,Trivandrum

Placements: Good placements, especially in IT companies. Many students are recruited. Except in the field of biotech, all others are receiving placements. In case of the biotech degree, there are less companies in India, even though a number of students are getting placements in core companies itself. A good number of students get placed in IT companies as well.

Satisfactory college, with room for improvement

Placements: Major companies which visited: Mu Sigma, TCS, Oracle and Accenture. Placements were adequate. No exact recollection of packages offered, but the average was 3 LPA. Roles were primarily software engineering roles with a few accounting and data analysis roles. No idea about stipends or internships.

A college review of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering.

Placements: We had a lot of good companies visiting our college for the placements. Most of the eligible students were placed in at least one of the visiting MNCs. The visiting companies include TCS, Oracle, Music & Arts, etc. I am not sure about the salaries offered to the students, but the highest offer was Rs. 7 lakhs per annum.

Review of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering.

Placements: With around 75% pass percentage, around 90% of those students got placed. Top firms like Leyland, MRF and many IT companies conducted their drive here. Many got placed within 2-3 months. SCT mechanical is always a good option for off-campus placements as well.

Great faculty, poor lab infrastructure, and placements(for my course). Awesome campus life.

Placements: There are no placements for this course. Still, when my batch was undergoing placements, some medical coding companies came for a one-day visit. They hired almost 30% people too. But, remember medical coding jobs are basically not for biotech engineers. Now, I guess there are some placements coming as my junior got into some medical analyst job profile through placements.

SCTCE is unique for mechanical engineering courses. Placements and faculty are good.

Placements: 2015 placements were good. My seniors got placed in TCS Wipro, Athena Health, Infosys, Mu sigma, Accenture, Ashok Leyland and MRF, The minimum salary package was 3 lakhs per annum and the highest was 8 lakhs per annum. Mechanical students intern at Kerala State Road Transport Corporation near the college campus. Other departments have done internships at TCS, Wipro and Infosys. The average stipend was Rs. 10000 and the highest was Rs. 20000.

Placements: The college had a very good placement record. Nearly 85 percent were placed. The lowest salary offered is 14000 and highest is 50000. Nearly 15 companies visit our college every year. The training given by the training and placement team is excellent.

Placements: I think almost 90% of the students got placed in various companies. To name a few companies which visited the campus includes Tata Elxsi, Infosys, TCS, Mu Sigma, CTS, etc. The students were offered the role of the system analyst. I think the highest salary offered was about 6 lakhs per annum.

Heaven! Good faculty, good placements, good people all around, positiveness throughout.

Placements: Infosys, MU Sigma, Q Burst, MRF among many other companies. Infosys had recruited around 200 candidates and salary was around 2.5 L per annum. I was also placed in Infosys. My senior batch had Mahindra, TCS etc too. Altogether a great college to be in. A good reputation and a decent number of companies will surely visit the campus.

A truly amazing place to learn.

Placements: To attend most interviews, students will have to secure more than a CGPA of 7. There is a dedicated placement cell which handles everything related to placements. It guides the students and makes sure that every event or information reaches all students through proper channels. The chances of getting into some reputed company are really high. In Electronics and Communication branches alone, many companies recruited like Infosys, MuSigma, TCS, MindTree, Oracle, etc. Infosys took a good number of ...

Placements: Placements were pretty good in our college. Many multinational companies had come to recruit students and each company had got different job profiles and the salary also varies with job profiles. I was placed in Infosys. 130 students got placed in Infosys from our batch. I was offered CTC of 3.25 LPA. Companies that had come for placement were TCS, CTS, Accenture, Mind tree, Oracle, etc.

It is good but yet to improve in infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are good in this college. Many A grade companies visits for recruitment. It is possible to pass out as a job holder. Salary varies according to the companies. More than 10-15 companies have visited our campus. More than 85% of our seniors got placed in the last academic year.

No placement, under educated faculty, bad labs and worst infrastructure.

Placements: No one has ever got placements from the college and hence, you have to try on your own. There was a placement drive once that turns out to be fake as the person who interviewed us was the member of the college administration only.

Absolutely underated college, irrresponsibe management and worst infrastructure with no placements.

Placements: The college does not have any placement opportunities for students. The students have to rely on their own after completion of their graduation. For the namesake, there is a room called placement cell but it will be always locked. No companies have come for placements since past two years. The management takes no responsibility for the placements of the passed outs.

You're free to try anything and everything in these 4 years. You can take admission here from three quotas- General, management and NRI. The college is a government aided self-financing college which is operated by KSRTC. I would recommend for EC and Mechanical engineering branch in this college.
