It is the best developing college.

Placements: I am a second-year student of M.Sc. botany with specialisation in ethnobotany and ethnopharmacology. It is a new gen course introduced last year. This course is a professional degree so we can get job opportunities in different drug-making companies. Many research institutes like BSI and CSIR provide job opportunities. Our college provides internships for students.

Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a department library, and a common library. They renewed the lab and introduced sophisticated equipment for our practicals. Our college has Wi-Fi for conducting online classes and other studies. Medical facilities are not available in our college. Our college provides sports and games facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are good at teaching because they have high knowledge and skills. All of them are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are not difficult to pass. If we study hard, we can write exams well. The passing mark is 24 out of 75.

Other: I opted for this course because I took botany in my degree. It is a new gen course, so I want to know more about it. The best thing about this course is it is a professional master's degree. Many job opportunities are available in this course. Our college should reduce the syllabus to improve studying. Our college organises many other activities and fests. Our college provides scholarships to students. Our college surroundings are good. Through this course, we can achieve complete training in ethnopharmacology. There are around 13 seats which belong to merit seats, management seats, community quotas, and sports quotas. Students who score more than 85% can get a seat. There are some special seats for SC and ST categories. I scored 88% in my B.Sc. Botany and I got a seat in M.Sc. in the third allotment.
