SGTB Khalsa College is one of the best colleges of DU. Talking about infrastructure, the college has a huge ground with a tennis court and a gym. Many rooms have AC also. The faculty of the college is very good and very supportive. One point which I personally feel is lacking is that the placements are not too good as compared to other campus colleges.

It’s one of the best college in this area which is providing best place of education to students. Almost all Courses are provided to students here. Seniors are supportive and thus there's no ragging. Average packages are around Rs 10 lakhs p.a. and go up to Rs 16 lakhs. Campus has a big playground to play and a rich library. It also has a well maintained canteen and so many another facilities are also available.

This college has a great infrastructure, college life, and great faculty members. However, the fee is quite high as compared to other colleges, the canteen has quite costly food, and the college fests are pretty boring. Though, the science faculty members here are well-experienced and very friendly.

It is one of the great colleges in all aspects.

Placements: In this college, the placements are average with average companies visit our campus to hire. The placement rate is good. Many internships opportunities are also present helping students build their CVs. Placements are not that guaranteed but still, if students have got the skill it is confirmed.

I am not very much satisfied with our college.

Placements: None of the companies had visited our campus for placements. Students have to apply in the placement cell of DU for placements. Our college does not help students to get an internship, and you have to search for it on your own. Some of my friends got jobs with the help of the placement cell with an average salary package.

Overall, it is a good college, and the course is good.

Placements: It is a very new course in our college, and due to COCID-19 pandemic situation, there were not any placements. The coding knowledge provided here is not at all good, so I didn't expect much from placements. Students expect to get placed in average companies with a salary package of about 5 LPA-6 LPA. Most of the students want to opt for masters after this course.

It is a great college for you.

Placements: Around 60%-70% of the students get placed through our college, while the rest of the students try to get placed on their own. Although DU offers great placements, the average salary package offered to students ranges from 1 LPA-2 LPA. Good companies offer internships here, and mostly, students find internships on their own.

Pros and Cons of pursuing an interesting course with limited placement opportunities.

Placements: Being a literature student surely opens a wide opportunity for jobs and internships for you, but the college placements in such courses is not very satisfactory. Rest assured, some students do get well paying jobs with major news channels and media houses .

It is a nice place to study. There are good infrastructure and good faculty members.

Placements: There are no such placements for BA (Hons) courses. However, our college provides you with classes and sessions to prepare for civil services. There are societies which take care of conducting such events, and officials are often invited for workshops to guide us.

I am satisfied with the course and college.

Placements: About 25% of students from our course got placed in good and influential companies. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TresVista and Brain visited our campus for placements. Top roles like analyst and consultants are offered to the students. The internship offered to the students was not that great.

Review of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College.

Placements: Companies visit frequently, and most of the students got placed with a salary of around Rs. 25,000 per month. Auditing and accounting fields are highly preferred. Additional E-certificate course and language course is an advantage. Commerce students are placed the highest. This time, many auditing companies visited the campus.
