Sairam is a good college overall, but not much worthy for what you pay.

Placements: The Sairam Institutions have good placement record. Nearly 80% of the students have been placed in major companies. The number of core companies is not up to the mark. Sairam has good placement records in major MNC's like TCS, Zoho, etc. The number of companies visiting Sairam is more than 50 still the count of core companies are less. The average salary paid is 4-5 Lacs per annum. Zoho and Amazon provide the highest package. The highest salary is around 10 Lacs per annum which is bagged by only...

Good experience with the faculty. Overall, the placements were satisfactory.

Placements: Around 500 students were placed in TCS. Around 150 students were placed in Inautix. Many companies like Mahindra, Mu Sigma, Zogo, CTS, L&T Infotech, Flipkart, Himachal Pradesh etc. visited the campus for placements. Overall, the placement was good. Many students were placed in core jobs. The highest salary offered was 12, LPA and the lowest offered was around 2.5 LPA.

An simple review of Sri Sai Ram Engineering College.

Placements: The placements in my batch are moderate compared to the previous year batch. Last year, the percentage of students placed was 89% to 92%. The highest salary package was fifty thousand per month and three lowest was around ten thousand per month. The companies visited were Amazon, Zoho, I-Nautix, Econ, TCS, etc. The roles offered were software trainee and program analyst.

Good experience of my engineering life though disappointed for some things.

Placements: Placements were good, not superb. Many companies which came our previous year, didn't come for our academic year. Though 70% of students got placement, it was overall average. Highest stipend offered was 7,00,000 P.A and lowest was 2,00,000 P.A. The companies like Google, Amazon was just a dream for us.

Had a good experience in my dept. EEE.

Placements: Almost 97% students got placed. 5L was the highest package, 3.3L was the average and 2L was the lowest package per annum. Both IT and non-IT companies came for placement. System analyser, GET were the roles offered. 30% students got their internship at iAUTIX and Zoho. Rs. 2500 to 10000 was the stipend offered.

Good from the view of a parent but student life not so good. Placements and infrastructure excellent

Placements: Placements are very good. Almost 100%. We get a lot of opportunities for placements. We cannot reappear for other companies once we are selected. Top IT companies come for placements and a huge bunch of people get selected in 2-3 companies itself. They give placement training also.

Provides a lot of opportunities to succeed.

Placements: I am BE (EIE) 2016 pass out student. The 2015 placement statistics of my college show that out of 761 eligible candidates, 680 got placed. TCS was the major recruiter. Other companies which came for recruitment were iNautix, Wipro, Polaris, L&T InfoTech, Zoho, and Hexaware. Flipkart also visited our campus. 12 companies visited the campus for recruitment in 2015. Flipkart offered the highest salary package of 15LPA. And 3LPA was the lowest package offered by Hexaware. The average salary was arou...

100% placements and the best faculty.

Placements: The placements are very good. High and medium level companies recruit students. The salary level is also good (2.5 lakhs - 4.5 lakhs per annum). For internships, we need to search for companies and we get it easily. If not, our professors' reference helps to get us internships. For the last batch, 60 students out of 100 got placed on campus and rest got on off-campus.

Overall it is a good college to join.

Placements: Many of our seniors got placed in several companies, mostly in software jobs. But till now, many of them did not get their call letters yet. The students have to make their career by going for an internship. Some of the companies like the top software companies have visited for on-campus placements here. All these companies are expecting that the C language has to be known by the students.

This college is the best as the teachers work harder than the students. They give us written notes during every internal and external examination. They teach us good ethics. They conduct some entrepreneurship development program to teach the students some skills about startups. They teach us some soft skills during the pre-placement activities. Our principal, extends a lot of support in academics and co-curricular activities. The sports are extraordinary, especially kabaddi and volley ball. The ...

This is an engineering institution located in the suburbs of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. In a batch of 120 students, I had enough opportunity. It is located near Kishkintha theme park, which was a great recreational centre for us. We had a green and high-tech campus with all the required facilities. With the fees of rupees 3.75 lakhs for my batch, it gave us a good ROI.

It is situated in the right place where you will have a peace of mind and fresh air. College has got good infrastructure and lab facilities. It is quite far from city and poor public transport facility. The Hostel is very near to college with reasonable accommodation fee. Poor placements for mechanical engineering. To frank the staff were good when I started my BE in the year 2009. The college administration also support sports and other extracurricular activities.

You'll learn self-discipline, better place for women students. But if you need some technical skills I would prefer another institution. You'll find a tough going if you are from a leisure past. It is a must go for orthodox women students and must skip for leisure male students.

The best in this college is the discipline. The worst in this college is also discipline. To be clearer, no one can find any other college enforcing many strict rules like this college. For example, if you are not in formals, whoever you may be, you can't enter the college. But, they go to whatever extent they want to, to enforce discipline in students, as in, collecting heavy fines from defaulters. But my department staffs made me forget the strict atmosphere and made my college life memorable....

Very good college, infrastructure in our college is improving year after year, comparing with other colleges in Chennai its infrastructure is good. Discipline is well maintained among students. Being a hostel student I hated its hostel, as mobile is not allowed and even radio is not allowed with in hostel and college campus. No freedom can be expected from the college during hostel times as everything are going by schedule, even there is study time allotted for hostellers. Mess - a major conce...

Academic wise the college is good. But all other things are worst. Management is very strict and rules are like boys and girls should not talk together, etc. Parents used to push their son/daughter forcefully in this college because of the placements. I think most of the engineering colleges in Chennai has equal or better placement record than this. You can expect only software industries for placements, which are common in all colleges of Chennai.

Good learning, and placements but you will lose the joy of college life.

Placements: Our placement period turned out to be a critical period of layoffs all throughout the industry. The intake was too slow, and companies coming in and taking people have gone way down in count. It was hard to place all the students, but management somehow managed to do the placements.

Review of Sri Sairam Engineering College.

Placements: Our college provides average placements. The placement percentage of our college is 90%. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Wipro, TCS, and Infosys. I got placed in TCS. They offer good salary packages.
