Placements: For education purpose, the college is good to gain knowledge in civil engineering, but when it comes to placements for civil, and there are a few chances in college. For EC and CSC, there are the good number of opportunities in college.
Placements: The placements were good in our period where we have taken to VIT for placements under VIT placement consortium. I got placed in HTC through it. The college has a good number of teachers and PhD degree holders and experienced faculty to explain the concepts.
Placements: The placements are good. Our senior batch placement was about 60%. The placements are not only in our department, but every department is getting placements. The management is trying to place maximum students. They are giving guidance to overcome the interview with an easy and simple methodology.
Placements: There is advertising in the name of placements, but not even a single BPO come here to hire. Just to get the course completion you can come here with a perfect place to relax with. But, they are giving a better placement than the nearby colleges in Tiruvallur district. It also has earned a good name for itself.
Placements: Our senior batch placements were too bad. Out of 200 members, only five members got college placements. The placement percent is only 2%. The highest salary offered is Rs. 90,000 per month and the lowest is Rs. 20,000 per month. BHEL, Wipro, Barkleys and Accenture visit for placements. None other activities were provided. 25% students got internship oppurtunities. Rs. 5,000 stipend is offered. There is a placement cell. It is just to show that placements are there.
Placements: Dr.k Delhi Babu heads the training and placements. IBM, ZETA, Infotech, HCL, Tech Mahendra, Toshiba, Hyundai are the companies that visit our college every year. 254 students got selected for the academic year 2016-2017.
Placements: Placements are good. But only a few companies visited the campus, when I was studying. But if we work hard, definitely we can grab the opportunity. Now, it became autonomous, so I hope it may provide better opportunities. If anybody wants to study in Chittoor, it is one of the best options.
Placements: The college gets a good number of companies. Tier-1 to tier-5 level companies comes to the campus. Traning and placement sessions are also providing by the college itself. 20 to 50 percent of the student got placed so far. It's good for the students who are serious about their career.
Placements: When it comes to placements, this college is the best in Chittoor city. During my final year of B.Tech, I have attended around 15 interviews in my college. Most of that 15 companies are multiple national companies (MNC) like MUsigma, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, HPE, Open Text, NTT Data etc. If you are strong in aptitude and basics of computer programming languages, easily you can crack an MNC job in this college. Also, you get special training based on the upcoming company patterns.
Placements: As per the details of my seniors and my batch, there were a lot of conflicts regarding placements. Many companies had visited the campus i.e. Tech Mahindra, Alliance Global Services, Web Synergies, Mphasis, Open Text, Amara Raja and many more small scale companies. Often, there will be exams conducted based on AMCAT and CoCubes. Many students got placed by the help of these exams i.e. (AMCAT, CoCubes). In the academic year 2015-16, nearly 116 students were placed, similarly, in 201...
Placements: If you have scored more than 7 in cgpa, then you will be eligible for placement. Training and placement cell will first train you for 2 classes a day, and 2 weeks later we apply for an online exam at monster.com. Selected candidates are eligible to attend final interviews. Companies like Amaraja Battery, Hyundai, Accenture, TCS (not our core) etc. were coming at my time. The salary offered started from Rs. 18000 to 25000.
Placements: When compared to the last batch, more students from our batch have been placed. But most of the companies are BPO. Only 20 students are placed in good companies, to the best of my knowledge. To be frank, our college lacks in bringing good companies for placement.
Placements: I have completed B.Tech in Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology in the EEE branch at Chittoor. Regarding the campus placement, our college is the best in AP. Around 5-10 software companies and 4-5 core companies will recruit around 200 students As I am in the final year, software companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, UHG, Capgemini, HCL, NTT Data etc. Core companies like Somic ZF, Mahindra, Amararaja Batteries etc recruited around 200 final year students and they got an offer l...
Placements: When I was in college they conducted so many programmes and guided us for face to face interviews. Coming to placements, they didn't bring any big companies to the campus. They invited 10 small companies and according to my views, placements are not up to the mark. However, they brought some experts to give seminars to us for motivating us.
Placements: Placements were good as about 40 to 45% of the students got placed. I cannot tell about the salary because it depends on the candidate to candidate. Open Text, Infosys, CSC, etc. had come placements. The roles offered in the companies were like system engineer, software trainee, software developer, etc.
It’s a Good college. Teaching is nice, good placement, technical sills, good environment surrounding, good hospitality, technical aspects, wide range of learning skills, professional trainers for placement recruitment, good faculty, Wi-Fi, hostels are good. Food is also good in hostels.
Changed a lot from then to now. It became Autonomous. And students are from different states and even from other countries also. It is more than worth for money. It has ample of infrastructure with good laboratories and digital library. It is Wi-Fi connected campus. It can be used by students at any time other than regular class hours. It has good hostels with sophisticated gym, swimming pool etc. Don’t know how about the placements.
There are some defects with the college, like the college rules are strict. But good results have been produced by the college so far and it's worth the money. The average salary and placements are decent and the crowd and campus life are good. Campus facilities are good.
Placements: Nearly 50% of the students are placed in the placement and training cell. The highest package offered is approximately 7 LPA, and the lowest is approximately 3 LPA. L&T companies are recruiting for the course. I think internship is not provided in our college; only the students are placed in the college.
Placements: We have 480 seats in ECE in that 100% of students was placed in the course. SVCET offers 30% of seats under management quota and remaining 70 % is offered for convener quota. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 211200 for the entire duration of the course. SVCET is the Private autonomous college in Chittoor. The top recruiters is IBM, Infosys, Cognizant and TCS.70% of students got placed in IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro. The Median Salary 5.17 Lacs is offered for the students who ...
