Average teaching facilities but strong placement opportunities.

Placements: Placement percentage is 70%. The highest package is 21 LPA, the lowest package is 1.5 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Accenture, Wipro, and Zoho. The internship percentage is 25% from Zoho and Bounteous. Top roles offered are Software Developer and Associate Software Developer.

I feel happy and satisfied with the infrastructure and facilities provided to us.

Placements: Most of the students get placed in companies, where the college provides enough guidance and trains students to get placed at least in any of the software companies. The top recruiting companies are TAFE, Royal Enfield, Bosch, etc. Most of the students try to get their internships on their own and the college also provides enough assistance to get the internship for their students.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members.

Placements: About 10% of the students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. TCS was the top recruiting company, and after that, it was 6 red marbles. Only 10% of the students got internships in the IT sector. However, people got placed by their search and senior guidance. They do not help to find internships, you have to find internships on yourself.

Good placements and good learning.

Placements: We have good placements and good companies coming in but in the end, it all boils down to the student and his or her effort to gain experience. Loads of startups come as SVCE has a reputation of having the students go the extra mile to be in touch with the industry-level standards and more.

This college is used to be one of the best colleges at one point of time. Today there's not much to differentiate the teaching quality from all the other Anna University Colleges. Placements are strong here. Some departments perform better than others especially mechanical, computer science and Electronics and electrical engineering.

Review of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Kanchipuram.

Placements: For the chemical engineering department, many companies didn't visit our college for placements. Only 2 or 3 highly-reputed companies offer good salaries, i.e., Rs. 40,000 to 50,000 per month, while the rest of the companies offer a bit mediocre salaries (mostly IT companies). However, our college provided a lot of training for placements, which is quite helpful. From our seniors, around 80% of them got placed and as of now. In our batch, around 40% of the students got placed. Our college doesn'...

Good placements for students.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students who sat for placements got placed this year. The highest pay in my department was around 10 LPA. Almost everyone got placed with a decent pay of 4 LPA in reputed companies, and many companies were at the panel.
