Standard facilities are provided in college, but the staff here do not maintain them.

Placements: Our college earlier used to assign compulsory rural posting. We had to sign a bond on a government paper that after the completion of our course, we will serve in the village hospital, failing to which would make us liable to pay a heavy penalty. However, this has not been happening for the last four years. So we have no placements per se. The doctor-patient ratio is very poor in our country, so it's pretty easy to find a job. However, most of the students go for post graduation and drop a year ...

Absolutely satisfied with the college because of the good infrastructure and clinical studies.

Placements: Almost all the students get posted as medical officers in various areas of Odisha. Some students who get good ranks opt for post graduation courses. Stipend offered during the internship is Rs. 20,000 as per the statistics of January 2019. The lowest salary offered to the students after completing their MBBS course is about Rs. 40,000 per month. The undergraduate batch is comprised of 250 students.

Good college in Odisha, but definitely has a lot of scope to be the best.

Placements: Since SCB is a Medical college , there is no such terms called placements unlike enginne colleges. SCB being one of the best medical college of eastern india, the SCB passout doctors are among the most sought after doctors. While many doctors join the Govt Hospitals as contractual doctors, some also join the private hospitals in and around cuttack. Some choose to serve the people by worki as Assist surgeons in various PHCs, CHCs of Odisha after qualifying the OPSC exam for medical officers. Many...

Review of Srirama Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital.

Placements: In our college, almost 60% of students did medical services in some rural areas and some other private medical hospitals in India. About 10% of students go abroad for higher studies and others are prepared for NEET PG. Top recruiting companies like Sum Kims, Apollo, Amri, etc., visited our campus.

Great place for becoming a doctor.

Placements: About 95% students got excellent placement directly after MBBS. The package was between 6 to 12 LPA. Top private medicals give better packages. You can get your internship in the college itself. Students can also apply for higher studies through entrance examination. Overall the college plays a vital role in creating good doctors.
