Absolutely a very good college to learn something new about social life.

Placements: Students who have a CGPA of 9.5 and above have gotten placements. The highest package of 12 LPA was offered to students who got placements. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, and Accenture. Web designer, web developer, and data analyst are the major roles offered in this course.

It is a good place to gain knowledge.

Placements: There are no core placements in this college. Service-based companies like TCS come to campus and select students. Other than that, many small companies also visit our campus. Accenture is the main company recruiting for non-voice process.

I am dissatisfied with faculty members.

Placements: A good number of students from our department were placed. Apart from that, there were few who were helpful and seemed qualified for the job. Others seemed ended up in this just as a result of some accident or in their transition phase. About one or two staff members were quite adept in their qualification of the course. A professional course like this would definitely need that for students.

I am absolutely satisfied with the teaching provided here.

Placements: From our college, more than 60% of the students have been placed. For the EIE department, core companies like Siemens, Yokogawa, Honeywell, etc., visit for placements. From our college, the majority of the students got placed in Accenture, while a few students got placed in companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, etc.

There was good placements in 2015, But not now.

Placements: Let me tell about the college in a bit elaborative manner. I am a passed out B.E graduate of 2019 batch from valliammai engineering college. When I joined in 2015 the minimum cutoff among my batch mates was 179. so you can see that the number of students opting for my college was high. But in 2018 the maximum cut off among that batch students was 160-165. This will give you an clear idea of how my college has been degrading among the people minds. 1. In my batch of 150+ students, only 10-12 stu...

Somewhat satisfied. I didnt got knowledge as what I expected but I got a placement in Accenture.

Placements: You can expect IT companies as the Accenture is the bulk recruitment in our college package 3.5 LPA and placed upto 400 students every year overall rating 3/5. Mostly it based on luck to get placed not on your skills. So you need to go for off campus.

A review of SRM Valliammai-Valliammai Engineering College.

Placements: For our batch, only 2-3 companies visited the college for placements on day one. You can't rely on the college for any placement training. You have to train yourself and get equipped. There will be training sessions, but they will not be that effective, and you have to strive hard on your own if you want to get placed. The college won't invite any core companies for ECE, EEE and EIE branches and only companies related to IT service will be visiting for placements. The visiting companies are also...

Valliamai engineering college paridhabangal.

Placements: Only TCS for whole department, in that mostly 20 percent placed if you get paced in TCS call letter you will wait for min of 1 year, then so many BPO'S, for all the above this we have to pay for the placement classes from that placement class they taught the altitude and personality development but they forget to taught the aptitude they focused on personality development.

Totally dissatisfied with rules, lack of internal providance and placements !

Placements: Here the placements are quite moderate. You will get a maximum 4-5 Lacs salary if you have a really good CGPA and knowledge about the subjects. When compared to other affiliated colleges the placement is not that good. We do get companies like Accenture, Tcs and so.

The review of Valliammai Engineering College.

Placements: Students with 7 and above CGPA got placed in companies, but most of them are IT companies, where only IT and CSE students can work. The placements were successful for mechanical engineers than the respective degree holders. Most of the companies are from neighborhoods.

Average placement facility, infrastructure and good environment.

Placements: Our college does not have a good number of core companies for participating in placement for the mechanical department. The scenario is same for our senior batches too. Many companies have visited on campus placement for the graduate trainee posts. Salary ranges from Rs. 12,000 - Rs. 15,000 per month. On an average, 10% of the people have been placed during the placements. Arrangements for internships is nearly zero. Our college has a normal placement cell with dedicated staffs, but number of c...

It is an average college. Have this as a choice, but don't go for it.

Placements: Last year, we had very good placement number. But now, the scenario is totally upside down. We got a minimum on-campus drive, and majorly we got clubbed with SRM for the off-campus drive, which was a little bit tough to get through. At last, they even got BPOs for the campus placements. Here, placements are really tough, and it gets hard enough to survive.

I am not satisfied and have disappointment with this college.

Placements: The placements in the college are very competitive. Only IT sector companies come for recruiting the students. The companies select less number of students. Some companies are even recruiting just one or two students from a department. Some departments don't get the placements at all. Many students did not get placed.

If you can do self-study, I'd refer this college. You won't get any help from the management's side.

Placements: Only TCS comes for recruitment every year. Other than that, a few companies do come, but the number of students recruited by them is very low- around 10 to 20 students. Even if you got selected in any highly-paying company, your call letter might be delayed by at least one and a half year. However, the placement HOD is highly talented and has the ability to get the students placed in most of the companies, don't worry about it. The placement department helps you a lot to get placed in a co...

Average college with good infrastructure and brand name.

Placements: The college has 70% placements for no arrears students since our seniors have 80%. The highest salary offered is 30000 and 10000 is the lowest offered. TCS and Wipro are the two best companies which visited my college. Students are placed as a trainee engineer, software engineer, IT engineer and ITIS engineer. It is one of the worst colleges for an internship. 1.2 to 3 lakhs is the stipend range offered.

My college is really good for Engineering but worst for MBA we have no placements in terms of knowledge. Staff in my department are dumb. For MBA please prefer any B-school rather than doing it in an Engineering College. The real MBA is when you meet the industry people and understand what is business and how does it run. Here you don’t have any such opportunities to learn all this stuff. Poor ambience, no proper conference hall. Poor lab facilities, no Wi-Fi and no projectors.

A college with good infrastructures but not good faculties, which is major drawback in almost every engineering college. Mediocre faculties doesn’t inspire a single student. This college and SRM University shares the same campus. So the campus life of an engineering student will be more modern and interesting than any other engineering college in Tamil Nadu.

An awesome place to study both your graduation and life. Sufficient campus facilities. Good transportation. But cost of study is high. Bellow avg families cant meet the management fees. It has a large campus infrastructure compared to other colleges in Chennai. The college offers a moderate atmosphere to enjoy. Neither lenient nor strict. You will have a great experience over there.

Review of SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Chengalpattu.

Placements: Mechanical companies do not come to our college. Our college only prefers IT companies. Internships are not provided due to covid. The college must provide core placements to mechanical students.
