Q:   How effective is the placement cell for B.E. / B.Tech courses at SSIT - Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for BE/BTech Courses at SSIT - Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology

From the reviews, it appears that the placement cell at SSIT is relatively ineffective. Here are some key points summarizing the concerns:

    * Inactivity: The placement team was considered "inactive" in providing suitable options for students.
    * Limited opportunities: Few companies visited the campus, and most students did not receive internships.
    * Low placement percentage: The overall placement rate seems to be low, with limited opportunities available.
    * the highest package: The highest salary package offered was INR3.15 LPA (TCS), and another company offered INR3.20 LPA to 60+ students.

It's essential for prospective students and parents to be aware of these limitations when considering SSIT as an educational institution. While the college excels in other areas, such as infrastructure and faculty, its placement cell requires significant improvement to meet the expectations of its students.

Better but not best. I will place this college in top 20 in Karnataka.
Placements: I just completed 1st year in the branch computer Science and engineering and the placement are good enough compared to other colleges, in Tumkur except SIT and also better than most of the colleges in Bangalore, also like MVJ college of engineering Bangalore and est West like colleges and its all about our college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is above average. The library is world's 2nd most beautiful library, according to the records. This college has 3 main buildings and 1 library which has wonderful environment. The hostel has 3 blocks named as something.
Faculty: Faculty members also friendly. They know where to be strict and where not to. Teaching is good enough. And poor events for a year just 8-10 extra curriculum are there, which is celebrated grandly other than it is okay. And the exams are easy for others courses but not for computer Science.
Other: They provide their best compared to other colleges and the fee for management quota is also below average than other colleges. But we need packages in high level that is the minus point of college and it is also a minus point or other colleges also nowadays.

Best college with good placement facilities available.
Placements: More than 40 percent of the students were placed in our college. The highest package offered is 10 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 2.8 lacs per annum. Many companies like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, BL Kashyap, etc. visited our college.10 to 15 percent of the students got internships in various sectors.
Infrastructure: The college has a well designed infrastructure with some excellent facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, etc. Even the hostel facilities are good and they provide food in a clean and hygienic mess. Medical facilities are available in our college. Many sports and games events are conducted every semester.
Faculty: There are very well trained lecturers in our college having good qualifications. They help us in understanding each and every concept related to subjects and objects. Our course is curriculum relevant. The semester exams are very difficult. 36% is the passing percentage of our college.

Good College with good infrastructure .
Placements: The CSE course currently has a good scope. However, the placements are not good as the placement cell was inactive throughout the year. The total placements are also not good, with a low placement percentage. Very few companies came to hire from our college. The highest package was around 12 LPA and the TCS offered 3.2 LPA to 60 plus students.
Infrastructure: The college's architecture is very good. There is greenery all around the college. Infrastructure-wise it is far better college. Wi-Fi is available in college campuses. The classrooms and labs are also good. The main highlight of this college is its library which is very good. Since I am not a hostelite, I can't give any comment on the hostel. The sports facilities are also good .
Faculty: The teaching faculty are good they all are well qualified and they know how to teach. The course curriculum is relevant but it does not make us industry-ready since they teach their old syllabus and C language only.
Other: The main reason to choose this course is because only CSE is currently in good condition with good placements and the best thing about this thing is we learn new languages every day The events are conducted throughout the year by various clubs and the annual fest is called Kaotsava which is good and enjoyable.

    The college is very good.
Placements: 80% of the students will get placement. The highest average package offered in our college is 12.5 LPA and the lowest package is 5.2 LPA. The top companies are almost all students will get the internship. The top offered in my is doing projects, the college is good.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure are awesome for my course. In every building, Wi-Fi is available, and there are more labs for expecting the program. The library is very beautiful because it is the tops. The quality of food is also good. In every two days, boiled egg is provided.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified, and they are very friendly. This course curriculum is very relevant, yes, of course, it makes the student industrial ready and prepares the student to do the interview. The semester exams are tough for those students who will not study.

    Absolutely beautiful and interactive.
Placements: In our college, the placements are extremely good and excellent. The highest package is 12.5 LPA in a company in the year 2022. The lowest package is 4.2 LPA. The percentage of students being placed is 75% or more. The top role offered in my course is project management, and it is offered within the college campus.
Infrastructure: There are more Wi-Fi access points across our college campus. The infrastructure is beautiful and sturdy. Sports events are organized semester-wise and interbranch-wise, including eSports like BGMI and Free Fire. The functions are conducted with great excitement. There is a hospital on campus.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, friendly, and well-qualified. There is excellent teaching and interaction between students. The course curriculum is very good and prepares students for the industry. The exam papers are challenging, but with good study habits, students can overcome them. The passing marks are 37/100.

Inside story of Sri Siddhartha Institute Of Technology .
Placements: The placement in our college is not good; they don't bring the MNC companies. Also, I am a 2024 batch passout; they have only given the 2 IT sector companies in 2024, but they concentrate more on internships; they provide more opportunities to the students in internship criteria.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college is famous for it's Library infrastructure and it has a good campus as well as a greenish campus with multiple numbers of trees. Our college has 4 main park where students spend a good time with friends and it has a good canteen and cafeteria where food is also good. Our college has 2 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel. The hostel ambiance is good, and it has good food meals also.
Faculty: They provide good course curriculum; the subjects are also good; they provide well-knowledgeable courses; and they have good faculty members to teach; they teach us with real-time application concepts; they also train practical experiments; and they provide hands-on experience in lab sessions.
Other: Our college is famous for it's fest. Every month they conduct one fest, either a technical fest or a cultural fest. Our college has 2 cultural clubs and 3 technical clubs. The annual cultural fest will be conducted in the months of January and February. The fest name is Kalotsva. It will be conducted for 2 days where other colleges also compete and lastly, whichever club has won the most number of competitions, they will provide the trophy as club of the year.
