Really good infrastructure under VTU University.

Placements: Around 80% students are getting placed. Very rare core companies visit for ECE department. However, many IT companies arrive with an average package of 2.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Placements starts with the companies such as TCS, Tech Mahindra, ITC and Infotech as mass recruiters. In addition many startup companies and growing companies also visits the campus for placements.

You can join this college if you don't get a seat in the top 5 colleges in the state.

Placements: The placement in St. Joseph's is at par with the top engineering colleges in the state. The placement percentage is also good as compared to other colleges. It is a good choice if you want to get into an IT company. And they always take people in bunch. You would be notified of any off campus opportunities also.

Fully satisfied with good infrastructure, food, faculty, placements, library. But no mobiles allowed

Placements: For our seniors, the placement was better as compared to us. Mostly all major IT companies came like CTS, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, ZOHO, etc. The average CTC was more than Rs. 3 LPA. For B.E, they won’t provide you internship offers and they won’t encourage internships unless your project is really strong. The roles offered were of software trainee, developer, testing engineer etc.

The placement of this college is up to the mark but the mess is not good. Faculty is experienced. Hostel is good and workshops are well equipped. Spiritual activities are encouraged. Many activities are being practice which motivates students. The college is situated away from the city.

It has a good campus and infrastructure. The faculty is also good and cooperative. Labs are also well equipped. The support from the management is average. Hostels are within the campus. Foods is just okay. College and hostel staff is strict to certain extend. It is located in a remote place but college bus services are available to all nearby towns. Placements are also average. The canteen is good.

The college life was awesome despite of the fact that placements were not up to the mark. College infrastructure and facilities were higher than expected and had a wide range of labs and other facilities. The college also promoted cultural and sports activities.

SJCE in OMR is one of the Jeppiar Institutions. It is a good college. Students who excel in sports are allowed to compete in intercollegiate and other sports competitions. As for placements, companies like Cognizant, TCS and Infosys are some of the favourites among the students. Students can easily get placed through placements. However, there are very few companies that are related to non-IT specializations. As for academics, there are very few professors who are dedicated to their teaching...

The college is found in the outskirts of Chennai making it difficult to access the city as and when required. The college rules does not allow the use of bikes for the students , so it makes it more difficult. The college has too much rules and regulations which ruins the campus life . The salary and placements are kinda okay with 3-4 lakh for some of the students.

The College can be rated 6 out of 10. It has good placement record. Most of the students get placed with salary packages of around 4-5 lakhs per annum. But the college lacks in crowd and campus life. You would miss college life here. The Faculty members are mostly fresh in their career, so they lack experience in the teaching sector.

Our College has good Infrastructure. One of the best thing that we got from our college is Food. It has good Mess Facility serving both Veg and Non-Veg food. One would surely miss the food once they left the college. 75% percent of the students would get placed through Campus placement every year. Some of the guys find it very difficult to be here, because the college remains very strict when compared to other colleges around. That would be the only drawback of our College.
