Review of St. Joseph's College of Engineering.

Placements: Among all departments, more than 2,000 students got placed, and only a few got placed for high salary packages, i.e., 9 to 12 LPA. Others got placed with a salary package of 2-6 LPA. Majorly placements are done by Zoho, Deloitte, HCL, Axis, IDFC, Kissflow, L&T, etc.

Review of St.Joseph'S College of Engineering - SJCE.

Placements: Placements in our college are the worst amongst the other engineering colleges. The highest salary offered is Rs. 11,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 7,000 per month. Sanmar is our college's top recruiter which visit our college for recruiting 1 out of 230 students during the 8th semester. The top designation offered is an assistant manager. We have 5 internal assessment exams, each with 6 subjects throughout the semester. They won't let us out of the campus so we can't get an ...

Bitter educational experience.

Placements: First of all, there won't be any holidays given for one to go for an internship. Extremely rich and influential kids have managed to do their final year projects in organizations like ISRO, etc. As far as the placement is concerned, I don't remember the numbers. But, CTS, Wipro, and Infosys does Bulk Hiring.

This is the best school of engineering.

Placements: I think, 80% of the companies are IT in which only 10% are from CSE, and 20% are IT, and the rest are from the other departments. In the remaining 20% of placements, 15% for chemical and biological engineering students, and the others are just searching for their jobs. Some rich kids are going for higher studies.

I am dissatisfied because of placement, faculty and infrastructure. Good in food and sports.

Placements: The placements seem to be very poor for our batch though our seniors got only a few placement offers in the vast population. The total number of students placed this year is less than 10%. The companies that visited are CTS, Wipro, Zoho, Wheels India and Infosys. The students are offered to appear for amplitude test and then for HR round. Our college is not used to give any internships to the students. So it is a waste considering the stipends. Our college has a placement cell but is not much ef...

This college is recommended for students who came out of a strict school. Not satisfied.

Placements: Placements are good. Top core companies like Wipro, CTS, Tata Communications, etc. and product-based companies like Zoho. The criteria for placement are null arrears, GPA above 8.5. Average salary package- 3 LPA. The students are responsible to find internship on their own.

The college is found in the outskirts of Chennai making it difficult to access the city as and when required. The college rules does not allow the use of bikes for the students , so it makes it more difficult. The college has too much rules and regulations which ruins the campus life . The salary and placements are kinda okay with 3-4 lakh for some of the students.

In St. Joseph’s (JEPPIAAR Group's) you can't expect great teaching from faculty. Poor mode of teaching and conduction of exams. Staff makes the students write numerous assignments which is complete shit, only used for internal marks. Practical labs are finely equipped but staff has no knowledge of teaching. Infrastructure is average. The college management imposes several rules which turns even a good student to a terrorist. In placements, they show records as 1000 students every year, but the a...
