Or Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology examination from Institutions and Boards, recognized by Central or State Government / Universities with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to €œSC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non creamy layer MBC€� of Rajasthan State). There is no age limit for admission. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have passed B.E. or B.Tech in Computer / Information Technology, MCA (Mathematics as optional in UG)/M.Sc.(Info. Tech.)/M.Sc.(Comp.Sc.) from RTU or any other recognized University/Institution or any other examinations recognized as equivalent thereto by the competent authority. Candidate must have min. 55% (6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale and equivalent) marks in the qualifying degree examination (50% or 5.75 CGPA on 10 points scale of relaxation is admissible for SC/ST candidates). Good placement in 2015 and satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: In our batch, 30 students, from our senior batch 43 students were selected in campus placement and many in other open campus placements. 40% of the students were placed in our batch. The highest package offered was Rs. 1,80,000 per annum. Companies like Indian Air Force, Indian Army, HCl, L&T, etc., visited the college.
Infrastructure: The campus was fully enabled with Wi-Fi. All the labs in the college have the required equipment. The library, medical facilities, sports and games etc., are available in the college. The classrooms are non-AC, but library and labs are fully furnished and with AC. I never visited hostel. The problem is that there is lack of arrangements.
Faculty: There are around 200 staff members and helpful teachers. They are helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching quality. Mostly practical methods are used for teaching. The student to faculty ratio is 1/4. We got 3 chances for industrial visit. I think the course curriculum was not so much useful.
Other: Techbloom, engineer's day, freshers party are organised in the college.

Life at St. Margaret Engineering College.
Placements: Ther are no placements at all. No company want to visit the campus. The placement cell is in the pathetic condition. Some companies, which visited the college for the campus placements are Servos Infotech, Nityo Infotech at Delhi, and Kochar Infotech at Amritsar.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure wise, it is okay. The college is spread over a few acres of land. The computer labs are available, but all are with outdated systems, which were purchased only once when this college was opened a few years back by a businessman of Delhi, who runs a school at Delhi.
Faculty: The faculty members are the worst on the campus. Most of them are the pass outs of the same college called as St Margaret Engineering College. Many of them are from Neemrana, Behror, and the other local places. Most of them don't even know what the engineering is, and it is the pathetic condition.
