It is an excellent college for computer science students.

Placements: Students should have a minimum of 70% of marks to get a good job from SMEC. The salary depends on the skills of the students. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA for computer science students. The developer role would be preferred, and students of all other departments will be hired as a tester or a BPO. Hence I suggest you to choose only CSE if you want to join SMEC.

Good environment to build your career as an engineer.

Placements: 60% of students are placed. The highest package is Rs 50 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is Rs 3.7 lakhs per annum. Intel, Infotech, Wipro, Byjus, etc. visited for placements. 60% of students got internships.

I am dissatisfied with my college life.

Placements: Only CSE students get more opportunities here. Companies which visit our college for placements are Infosys, Cognizant and some startup companies. The highest salary package offered in campus placements would be less than 7 LPA. The maximum of around 100 students will get placed in companies from our CSE department. Roles offered here are SDE, etc.

I am dissatisfied because of the management, average placements, and facilities.

Placements: Around 60% of the students got placed in our course. The top companies which arrive for the recruitment are Amazon, Justdial, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Genpact, Capgemini, IBM, Infosys, IBI, and Cognizant. More than 30 companies arrive for placement drives every year. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4LPA. Top role offered in CSE is web developer, project manager, and application developer. Less...

It is the best college for mid-range courses and better for CSE.

Placements: More than 700 students from 2020 passed out got placements, and the TPO is friendly and helpful. The salary package offered is 3 LPA. Many BPOs and service-based companies visit here like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant Technology, etc. Still, many candidates did not get placed, and a maximum of 50 students get selected. CSE placements are the best compared to other circuit and non-circuit branches. More than 500 students got placed.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty and placements in the year 2020.

Placements: The students only from CSE and ECE got placed. There are no placements for mechanical and civil students. In terms of placements, our college is below average. Only some students got internships from our course. The mechanical students were visited by one company, but it was a fraud. Due to Corona, the college doesn't guarantee jobs, but many students got placed. But it was a waste.

I am satisfied with our college.

Placements: Almost 25% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.20 LPA. The top recruiting company of our college is Infosys. Almost 20% of the students got an internship. Students in our course have to be perfect on the programming side, so it is helpful to get a job.

Average college for average people.

Placements: I have no interest in our college placements because of its percentage. only 10% people got placed in good companies. Few people got placed in good companies like amazon and adobe remaining are not good. Remaining companies will offer 2-4 LPA. It depends on the student.

Placements: Companies like Amazon, Adobe, Uber, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The college is good, but it needs to change few things to become a better one.

Placements: Placements are good in our college. Nearly 100 companies visit our college every year, and most of the students were placed in good companies like Cognizant, Adobe, etc. A student was placed in Adobe with a package of 22 LPA, and that is the highest salary paid by the company in our college.

Placements: Quite well. A lot of service based companies and a few product based. I don't know about the figures of the number of placements. Many good companies visit our college, and plenty of students from my branch get placed. The college also trains students for placements.

The highest salary package is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest is 2.0 LPA. Very fewer students are aware about internships, and very less students are doing internships.

They are working in BPOs (call centers) with around 2.0 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. Oyo is the top recruiting company. 30% got internships at Infosys, Oyo, and Amazon. Software developer is the top role offered.
