Review of Stanley Medical College.
Placements: Around 100% of placements were provided to the 2017 batch in various government and private hospitals. The salary package offered is 7 LPA to 15 LPA. All the hospitals are recruiting students of our course. Around 100% of students get internships in our course in our college hospital.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, a library, an auditorium, parking facilities for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, a coops store, and a canteen are provided in our college. The hostel has clean and neat rooms. It serves good food and provides a ground for games like football, volleyball, cricket, basketball, and hockey.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good, highly qualified with doctorates, and highly talented in both medical and surgical fields. Exams are a bit difficult. The pass percentage is 50%. Exams are conducted once a year.

Our college is an excellent college for South Indian students.
Placements: Stanley Medical College is the second-best college in the whole of Tamil Nadu. It is the best to succeed academically.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. This college was founded in 1938. It is the oldest college in Tamil Nadu. The hostel infrastructure is also good. They provide a separate hostel for each batch. They provide a separate hostel for the first year. In the first year, they allotted one room for four girls.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good at this college and supportive. Faculty members are strict about exams and subjects. They also help in university exams. They teach very well and they take tests after completing one topic. In our college, I saw that type of rule but it was very helpful for the final exams.
Other: I suggest north Indian students not to come here because it's not good for North Indian students. After MBBS, we can do whatever we have to do because there is no bond at all. It depends on the person. If you want to go to any other field, you can do it.

Best college for medical education.
Placements: All 220/250 of students were placed in good positions in best hospital in Tamilnadu. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA-7 LPA and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 50000–70000 per month. There are numerous excellent government hospitals in Tamil Nadu. Apollo's founder is a stanlean.  All students do an internship in the college hospital itself. Dean, professor and chief surgeon.
Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi can be used only in library for purposes like journals and research work, not for personal use. Labs are well-equipped with modern equipment. Classrooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. New lecture halls are air-conditioned. Library has an air-conditioned self-reading room and a lot of books at different compartments. First year hostels are in old buildings, but well maintained and sufficient enough. After this, in your senior years, you will get a new building. From the 2nd year onwards, there will be two members in each room. In the first year, there will be three members in each room. Mess food is good and adjustable. Canteen is nearby and manageable with good snacks. Medical facilities are awesome. There is no doubt about the nearby government pharmacy that provides free medicine. sports facilities are very good with many sports clubs like hockey, football, basketball, cricket, throwball, volleyball and so on and there will be inter-college tournaments each month.
Faculty: Teachers are very humble and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and have a lot of clinical experience. Teaching quality is very good and unlike in other colleges, we go very slowly and do revision classes for us to grasp the portions easily. This course is definitely relevant and it makes student a real doctor and a real human being. Semester exams are not very difficult and you can crack them even if you study for the last 2 months of the semester. You just have to stick on to the important questions and seniors will guide you. Your pass percentage is just what you have to get above 50%. All students accept 5 to 10 failures in each batch, but they are given a second chance as supplementary exams.
Other: MBBS is my passion. The best thing about the course is that it helps people, so you can lead a decent and respectable life. Improvement can be in the form of giving a few more holidays, reducing the number of exams and taking a batch tour or camping. Euphoria stanlia, Tamil mandram and many other events are scheduled. There is a huge crowd in the campus as there are 250 students in each batch. Connectivity is good inside the campus area. The surroundings are clean and good. Many scholarships are provided by the government based on caste and economic status. Many extra-curricular activities are there in the form of clubs like eco club Rotaract club.

Great environment and support system, good academics, competitive lot.
Placements: Any MBBS graduate is almost certain to be placed, be it via postgraduation or via medical recruitment board or as a practitioner in rural setup. Stanley graduates often find themselves among the top ranks in postgraduate exams and do pursue their courses in premier institutes of the country. Also SMC is known to be one of the sought out institutes for Gen Surgery and subspecialities, Orthopedics. Many do clear exams like MLE and PLAB and pursue their course abroad.
Infrastructure: The recent years have brought in significant changes in the infrastructure of hospital, college and hostel. A new superspeciality block caters to myriad of patients with improving diagnostic techniques. College classrooms have been made as to accommodate the huge incoming batches ahead. Both the men's and women's hotel have seen drastic improvement along the years with new blocks built.
Faculty: Stanley do host the best lot of esteemed faculty members among Tamilnadu. The pre and paraclinical departments have dedicated faculty members who could help out every single ward in need. Due to the huge patient load dealt by the clinical departments, there is kinda a little issues in clincal classes which is ably compensated by the postgraduates who try helping bout at every go.
Other: COVID kinda spoilt the entire joshnof SMC in Stanlea - annual intercollegiate sports event ; Empower - annual international medical conference; Empower - annual intercollegiate cultural fest where the entire college comes alive with Stanlean spirit. Stanley is known for the bonds made along college life which stays stronger and everlasting. Being in North Chennai has its own pros and cons and it ain't that far from major hang out spots in Chennai.

It is a great college to gain knowledge and exposure.
Placements: All the students of this institute are finely trained and get to work as great physicians and surgeons at various hospitals. Many students get to pursue their post-graduation in the first attempt and get to serve society as top specialists.
Infrastructure: The college has all the necessary infrastructure as determined by the government. It has an excellent patient load that helps in great clinical experience for students. All the labs are well-equipped, and the library serves as a wonderful resource centre. Hostels are decent, but they are not sophisticated. The mess serves nutritious food in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
Faculty: The college has very experienced professors who are leading doctors in their fields. They ensure you gain adequate knowledge before you qualify as a full-fledged doctor. The course is difficult, which requires long hours of study, dedication and a lot of sacrifices of fun and enjoyment. Still, students can enjoy the course if they are passionate about it. Exams are tough, but the course demands it.
Other: There is a great scope to explore the talents of students. Many cultural activities in academic and non-academic take place.
