Surendranath College has good infrastructure and facilities that are mostly commendable.
Placements: Currently, at this college, no placement is offered to students. But they get internships easily because of this college's reputation. Every year, almost 80% of students get their internships at Sealdah Court and Calcutta High Courts. Also, after passing B.A. and LL.B., they can pursue LL.M.
Infrastructure: Surendranath Law College is a prestigious college in West Bengal under Calcutta University. This college has so many departments, along with a law department with a seminar hall, so many labs, and an auditorium. Also, a college canteen is available for all students. And last, there is no hostel on this campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are most experienced and active in conducting so many seminars. All of the teachers are highly qualified and friendly. There are so many add-on courses available for students. With the guidance of professors, students get first-class results in semester exams.
Other: The location of this college is Sealdah, Kolkata, 5 minutes from Sealdah railway station. This college has a scholarship department. The college offers two main courses, such as B.A. LL.B. (General), B.A. LL.B. (Honosurs), and LL.M.

Value for money since its fees is very low.
Placements: Surendranath law college does not provide any placement. It's all dependent upon the caliber of the student. For pursuing corporate jobs, I do not recommend this college. If one wants to practice or prepare for judiciary, they can choose this college. College does not provide internships as well.
Infrastructure: The college is very old. It is of British time. But renovated from the inside. We don't know the Wi-Fi password but labs and classrooms are average. Library is awesome. We have 2 libraries with thousands of books. A small canteen is also there. Indoor sports are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well qualified, trained and much knowledgeable. Curriculum is designed by the university which is good. We have 10 semesters and each and every semester is tough. Exams are very tough. You need to prepare thoroughly.
Other: We organize social events every year in which some very renowned singers come. We also participate in various fests and events of other colleges. Some scholarships are also provided in the college.

It is a good college if students want to practice in court.
Placements: Our college do not provide placements, but it helps to create links with advocates and judges. For going in corporate one need to do lots of hard work as college do not provide placements there. If someone wants to go for judiciary then they should opt for this college. This college hours are very less so students will get much time to study.
Infrastructure: It is the 2nd oldest law college in India and 4th in Asia. So the college building is very old, but the classrooms are renovated. The library is very big and a canteen facility is available. A computer laboratory for research work is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced. Teachers, staff, and seniors are very helpful. The curriculum is provided by Calcutta University, so it is good. The curriculum is the same in other Calcutta University law colleges as well. Exams are tough and to obtain good marks and one has to do a lot of hard work.
Other: The fee structure of this college is very low. In 5 years, students will get B.A. LL.B. degree. Scholarships are also available. Picnic, fests, sports, etc., are conducted in this college.

It is a good college for budgeted education.
Placements: No placements are available here. Private colleges provide job placements as well as internships, but since this is a government college, neither of these are available. You have to find your internships which are compulsory to do because, at the end of the curriculum (of 5 years), you have to submit your internship diary in which you have to mention how many internships you've done under whom and what you've learned from them.
Infrastructure: Although the classrooms are non-air-conditioned, but the halls are air-conditioned. There are 2 libraries and also 2 auditoriums. The buildings are spacious. There is also a canteen but it is hardly ever functional. There are a lot of small food stalls by the college where students can have pocket-friendly meals.
Faculty: The teaching staff is average. Most students resort to taking coaching classes to finish their courses. The curriculum as set by CU is relevant. Exams are at par with the syllabus. The marking scheme is fine because private colleges give a lot more marks, and so our score gets affected once we get out in the real world competing for jobs.
Other: I chose this course because it gave me LLB+1 degree. The exposure of LL.B. in Kolkata is good. The best thing about the course is the level of expertise it brings. The teaching faculty has to be improved and so does the classroom infrastructure. There are no scholarships for general category students no matter how many marks you score. All scholarships are reserved for SC/ST/OBC categories only.

Review of Surendranath Law College.
Placements: Basically our college doesn't provide any placements but if anyone takes admission in Surendra Nath Law College then he/she can meet a lot of good teachers. We also have some good advocates in the teaching faculty of our college. So, there is a high chance that if you are good at study and has good terms with your teacher in this college then after completing your LL.B. through them you can join good law firms as well as you can get a good senior in your practice field.
Infrastructure: Our college does provide hostel facilities but only for girls. The hostel is good enough, and it provides air-condition and non-air-conditioned rooms. Wi-Fi is available, and they serve food 3 times. Students who want to be in a single room can opt for it, and sharing rooms are also available. Our college has good security.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable persons. It is a good college for a student who wants to study. Every student after completing LL.B. has to join any senior lawyer then he/she gets sufficient knowledge about the field. So here if anyone wants to join any renowned senior lawyers chamber then it would be a good opportunity to keep in touch with them from college life. The course curriculum is relevant and our college is under Calcutta University so the semester examinations are conducted by the university. Question papers are good enough for those who are in touch with their books. Marks are not much good. You have to study a lot and should have a good amount of knowledge to score at least 60% marks. Because Calcutta University doesn't provide give marks like other universities. So, if you are studying in any college under Calcutta University and you get above 60% marks then you are knowledgeable and have a decent hold on your books and studies.

Really good infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: There are offers like judiciary advocacy etc. But you have to practicing the court visiting besides of your daily study. It's nothing but practicing that's all you have to do. Also you can be a law officer by cracking LL.M. and also be a lecturer by completing this.
Infrastructure: My college has all the necessary infrastructure and maintains them properly, very good equipment in laboratories. Well, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports grounds, and gyms are properly maintained. But when you come to Wi-Fi there will be some network issues due to the low signal area, which the college was located. The hostel also has Wi-Fi facility and it is better when compared to classrooms, Food is served clean and hygienic.
Faculty: Semesters are quite different in LL.B. than other streams. There is excessive writing, making points of it and lot more stuffs like that. Passing percentage is more over 89% - 90% approximately. All the teachers are friendly and very helpful.
Other: The best part of the course is you will have the right to work independently through your thoughts. In our college there are many events like freshers party college annual fest and many more. In the term of extra curriculum there are many compilations were held in our college.
