Effectiveness of Placement Cell for BE/B.Tech Courses at SVCE

Based on student reviews, here's an overview of the effectiveness of the placement cell for BE/B.Tech courses at SVCE:

    * Placement Statistics: According to a student, "almost 75% of students got an internship" while another mentioned that "about 60% of students got placed through pool campus".
    * Company Visits: Some students reported that MNCs visit the college for placements, although the frequency and variety of company visits seem limited.

I'm not satisfied because of our college, but I don't know about placement. Infrastructure is good.
Placements: So far I do not know about placements but as seniors have told placements are not that good. Few companies do visit our college but to get placed we have to score a good CGPA throughout 4 years and should have done extra internships and improve many skills. If we don't get placed on-campus we can get placed off-campus, don't worry.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good. Labs are neither too big nor too small, they are good. Computer labs are well-equipped and also Wi-Fi around the campus is not that good, it often doesn't work. Campus is clean. I don't know much about hostel. But as far as what I have heard from my friends they said hostel has good Wi-Fi. Food is not provided they have to buy from outside. Infrastructure of hostel is also good.
Faculty: Exams are bit tough. We can pass but scoring good marks is in our hands. Faculty members are good and they teach well. They are down to teach students again and again too. Course curriculum are less but there are still a few functions taking place. We need 85% of attendance for attending semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I had no other option. I have to earn a good salary so I took this branch. At least that's my belief that I can earn more if I top in coding and become a software engineer. I guess it is true but we have to work really hard and also be more skilled.

Dissatisfied with teaching but the fests and festivals are often conducted.
Placements: Placements are not that good. Only 15% of the people are placed. The minimum salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The maximum salary package offered varies between 8 LPA to 9 LPA. Only two students got internship opportunities from the campus in the companies startups like Nokia and other startups.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and library are good. Wi-Fi is fully available in our college. Library is good and all books and materials are available. There is no hostel food. College has a huge campus where we can still study. Van facilities are available for students.
Faculty: Teaching faculty members are not good. The way they convey doesn't reach the students. The curriculum is not good, and it doesn't make students industry-ready. Students have to work on themselves to become industry-ready. Semester exams depend on this university because sometimes they are very tough.
Other: I took this course because I wanted to align my knowledge with the current industry standards and trends. The curriculum of the school should be improved so that students would become industry-ready without taking any other skilled courses. Events and fests will be so good there often conducted on our campus.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good at teaching and helping. Infrastructure is good . Wifi is available at every block. Labs are in good condition with all equipments needed. Classrooms are good and clean. Libraries are good. Quality of hostel is above average for boys
Faculty: Facilities are good at teaching and helping. All the teachers are knowledgeable. Quality is teaching is good. Students has many curriculum activities. Passing percentage of semester exams from each classes are about 80% although it is vtu board. Overall teaching is good

In this college, placements are good and good internship training are also provided.
Placements: The top roles offered are embedded systems, VLSI design engineering, electronics design engineering, software and IT roles, software developers, data analysts, artificial intelligence, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, etc. The highest package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the classroom is good; the Wi-Fi facilities are there. They provide separate library classes and also provide lab classes. The hostel facility is also good. The neatness is also good, and the food is also good in a mess. There is a canteen and the items are good.
Faculty: The teaching of the faculty is good; they will teach very well. They will conduct exams very strictly. In this college, attendance is most important. In all courses, the faculty teaching is very good. Semesters are also conducted very strictly. The pass percentage is 54%.
Other: In this ECE course, we go either to the software side or the hardware side. Someone told me that in the future, hardware side jobs are more so that's why I chose this course.

I think college is good enough to join if you want average jobs.
Placements: I heard from my seniors and super seniors that around 70-80% of students get placed, with some opting for off-campus placements. The highest package offered is around 10 LPA, and the lowest is approximately 3 LPA. However, I’ve heard that some seniors who joined off-campus placements got salaries above 20 LPA. Infosys offers around 10 LPA for Computer Science graduates.
Infrastructure: The college campus is small but has good infrastructure and cleanliness. The Wi-Fi speed on campus is also good. The labs are well-equipped, and the library is nice, though it’s not completely silent. The hostel is very clean and well-maintained, but the food is average. The hostel is strict and doesn't allow outsiders to visit, except for parents. If they find out that you brought someone from outside, they fine you as punishment.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, but I don’t think the college curriculum is fully aligned with industry requirements. The semester exams are tough, and I’ve heard that they follow the VTU syllabus. If you fail, you have to wait for a year before you can retake the exam, so you’ll need to study hard if you join the college.
Other: I joined this course through KCET. The events, like Khala Vaibhava, are great, and the college supports extracurricular activities.

Really good memories, campus life, and friends.
Placements: The placement scenario in our college is quite decent. 80% students have been placed during the campus interview. The highest package is 30 Lacs per annum, with an average package of 6 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Nokia Deloitte, Cisco, and Infosys coming around for the recruitment. At most 70% of students can get an internship based on their skills and knowledge. The college provides B.E., ISE, CSE, ECE, CIVIL, MECHANICAL, MBA, MCA, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty small in comparison between other colleges, and the facilities are also decent. Classrooms, libraries, and all are also good. You can join, but you have to study on your own. The hostel is also quite decent, and the hostel fees didn't include the mess food.
Faculty: The teachers of SVCE are also good, but some are also bad at teaching. After all, you have to study on your own. The course is relevant and sticks to the ground level of engineering as it follows the VTU syllabus. There are basically 2 internal and 1 VTU external exam every semester.
Other: I had interest in studying the computer and the software knowledge. That's why I chose ISE as my branch, which deals with all the computer and the software knowledge. I wish some of the curriculum of the VTU should be changed. There are many festivals and events organized by SVCE throughout the year, like cultural events. The main event is KALAVAIBHAVA, which is an intercollege event organized by the management of SVCE Bangalore.
