The reality behind A+ accreditation of SKIT, the dark reality of 1st ranked private institutions.
Placements: The scenario of placements is very poor here; the students are not getting placed well, and the newcomers are brainwashed by saying that the average package for the CSE branch is 10 LPA, but in reality, it is only 2–3 LPA in SKIT College. The management is also poor and careless regarding the welfare of the students.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are also very poor; there is a ducting system and if you want AC, you have to pay an extra 50,000 rupees and that too for double-seater AC rooms. The washrooms are always uncleaned and hygienic and not cleaned properly and on time. The mess food also tastes bad, making it difficult to survive.
Faculty: The teachers are Ph.D. holders, but they don't know how to teach properly; they just rush to complete the curriculum, and they don't care about the mindset, skills or any other areas of students that need to be dealt with and focused upon. They are just boasting their A+ rank but there is nothing like that.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of campus life .
Placements: Honestly speaking, on-campus placements in the CSE branch were just close to negligible compared to the number of students studying in college because mass recruiter companies didn't appear for placements. Even those who got placed on campus didn't receive much higher packages, and the average package was seven LPA.
Infrastructure: This college does not have a very big campus; there is only a single ground for students to play, with four badminton courts available. However, only two are allotted to college students, while the other two are reserved for commercial purposes. This often results in students waiting for hours to play. Additionally, there are lawn tennis courts, but none are designated for college students' use. The college Wi-Fi has a very poor connection and slow internet speed. The library is the best facility provided by the college, with almost all the books one could ask for, and the staff is friendly. Classrooms are spacious with good ventilation and equipped with cameras and microphones that cover the entire room. The canteen serves low-quality food, with packaged food being the only acceptable option. Hostel rooms are small, even for a single person, and the food quality in the mess is the worst, with incidents of insects found in meals.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are very supportive and helpful, except for a few. The faculty of the civil department is the best among them all. All faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable, guiding students on the right path. Despite being students of the CSE (A.I.) branch, students have engaged in activities like welding, surveying, carpentry, and more, which are not related to their branch at all. Semester exams held by the college are not very difficult to score in; students can score well if they study regularly. Almost more than 85% of students pass in college exams.
Other: My reason for choosing this course was my interest in evolving and developing technologies. In the future, Artificial Intelligence will be very useful and interesting. There should be no high hopes about events and fests as there is no freshers' party; only a single big event is organized named 'Pravah'. I wish the course were more related to the branch of the student in which he/she is enrolled (specifically in the first year).

My review of Skit College.
Placements: Almost 50 percent Students got placed in core and non-core jobs. The highest off-campus placement this year is 44 LPA, the lowest placement is 5 LPA, and the average placement is 4 to 5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Ambuja cement, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Visit college campus. Internship are mostly off campus College don't provide internships. Software developed like role offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided in colleges and hostels. 1 GB of net is given to day scholars, and 3 GB of net is given to hostellers per day. Labs are well developed and well-equipped. The library is well maintained; fiction, nonfiction, and course-related books are provided there. Mess food is not so good; mostly students go outside to eat food. A small canteen is available on campus. Sports like volleyball and cricket are present.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. Almost all the teachers have done PhDs in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is not so relevant, but some students go outside for coding. Semesters are moderate. Almost 50 to 60 percent of students pass the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a web developer. I want to improve practical knowledge in my course. Parvah is the main event that happens in college. The campus is surrounded by green trees. Pragati and Samaj Kalyan scholarships are provided to students whose income is below Rs 8 lakh.

SKIT review on academics .
Placements: About placements I can't tell much, but it has good placements, as I have heard from my seniors. It depends on how much efforts you put in and how many skills you have in your field. Placement cell helps everyone to provide better placement according to skills.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. The central library provides very good facilities, like providing PCs to anyone in need of it. As a day scholar, I can't tell about hostels, mess, etc. All teachers are supportive and have nice behavior. You can easily understand from them.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The way they teach is awesome and easy to understand. The course makes students ready for their respective fields. Semester exams or final exams only depend on the student, but they are easy.
Other: As it is famous by name, this college is like a second school after 12th. It is very strict about attendance, academics, and the vibe of college. No Saturday leaves are given.

SKIT-JAIPUR, Myths Busted.
Placements: The average placement is around 6.5 LPA, and most of the students get placed. The lowest is around 2.5 LPA, offered to core branches, and the highest placement goes north of 20 LPA, offered to ultra-excellent students. Internships are offered with the placements only.
Infrastructure: There are 2 boys' hostels and one girls' hostel inside the campus, and there are 2 more boys' hostels just outside of the campus. The Wi-Fi is capped at 3 GB per day to the hostel guys and 1 GB per day to the day scholar guys. The mess is good and offers moderate food.
Faculty: The faculty is quite experienced, and they are always on their feet to solve the queries. They often act as your mentor when life is tough. The curriculum can feel outdated at some times, but the college does not have a say on it as it is prescribed by RTU.
Other: SKIT is quite a reputed college in Jaipur. It hosts nice fests and has amazing connectivity. The airport is just 15 minutes away, and the railway station is 5-10 minutes away.

BTech- Seats are to be allotted by the REAP-2024 based on the merit of rank/percentile obtained in JEE (Main) Exam 2024 (having JEE (Main) 2024 percentile greater or equal to 20)/ Percentage in Class 12 / D.Voc stream. Students can also check the detailed REAP counselling application form here.

MTech- The centralised online counselling for admission in first-year MTech courses is conducted by the coordinator, CAM ( Centralised Admission for MTech). Priority will be given to valid GATE score candidates. Check the detailed GATE Application from here.
